As I watched this video (which I loved by the way), it got me thinking of how Quebecers keep going on about how they are a distinct society. In the course of my life, I grew up in Ontario and have now lived in Alberta for 40 years. And in my humble opinion, Newfoundlanders deserve the rank of distinct society. I believe that Newfoundlanders represent the best of what Canada is; hard-working, fun, loving, warm, and welcoming! You are an absolutely wonderful ambassador of Newfoundland and Canada!! ☮️💕🇨🇦
@@VinceLocRS not to dismiss your kind words, I do not see Quebec as an inviting culture. Nor do I see Quebec as the best of what is Canadian. Montrealers are great folks. But it seems everything east of Montreal (within Quebec) is pretty hostile. I do not see Quebec as a good partner to Newfoundland.
Once again, you are putting smiles on all of our faces. Excellent video, relaxing, good buddy, fishing is good, and good food. What more could anyone ask for. Thanks again, Cheers
Great fishing video! We really appreciate the effort you put into your videos, and love how you eat like a king wherever you are, fresh cranberry turnover over the coals yumm😊
Lovely trout ye caught there. Ye had great fun and definitely a good lunch. Weather is still cold. We still got the wood furnace going every day. Warm up soon I guess.
Bob thank you awesome video you’ve gotten so much better. Good to see you and Gary pull in the trout and you can cook for me anytime that lunch looks awesome especially the turnover.!!!!!! Az Dan
Cold day of fishing but it worked out well. Shore lunch looked tasty! All the effort you guys put in making the table, chairs and fire pit a few months ago paid off too.
Hey Bob nice to see you and Gary out doing some trout fishing regardless of the not so nice weather you guys' did well, I miss trout fishin. always love your meals they look not only healthy but tasty . Thank's for bringing us along always enjoy the content . Watching from Ontario.
A good day of fishing with a good friend despite how the weather was and too end it with a great meal on the island. It just doesn’t get any better than that. Well maybe if you won the lottery. Lol
Hi Bob! Those were some nice pan size trout . A great day on the lake. Your meals always look so good. Did you build that fire pit? I saw the video when you took the table and fire pit in but don't think you mentioned you made it or not. Staying pretty chilly there. My son is working around the st John's area , flew over Saturday. He said it was only 5 degrees when he got off the plane.
I am a big fan of your channel! I enjoy the content. Fishing, hunting , building & cooking! Which brings me to my question. What kind of tea are you always having? It always sounds good with what you’re eating.

I agree 100%! I haven't been there yet, but it's the next place on my bucket list to visit.
As a Quebecer, I've always seen Newfoundland as a distinct society. Honestly I'd be glad if Québec and Newfoundland build a country together.
Thankyou appreciate that
