for a better gaming experience i use epsxe 2.0.5 with video plugin pete's opengl 2.9 and it looks a lot better than that and image is a lot smoother with way less pixelated image with all to max in plugin settings at 1080p fullscreen .i haven't updated this plugin in a while so maybe there is a more up-to-date version.
Duckstation is best, for speedrunning I lower the settings and the renderer for speed / loading reasons , same as when you lower the graphics when playing shooter games
