I laughed when you gave your happy breath. You SHOULD have a happy breath! They are gorgeous and simple to paint. But you do have to have or cultivate confidence for where you wrist takes you on the paper. Everyone's designs are different, even when following instruction, because of the spirit put into it. A person's spirit flows onto the paper to create the design. TFS! Lovely tut!
Hi CeeCee! Just started watching you recently and I’m having such fun tuning into your videos every day! Learning so much. Tried this one but started with masking fluid first, then painted and inked. Used one 14x10 inch sheet and was able to get 4 4x6s, 1 5.75 x 5.75 and one small bookmark. Made 4 cards, 1 picture and 1 bookmark with only one sheet!

I used ball point pen too. But i use any ball point pen both with water soluble ink and permanent pen. It could be reynolds, parker..even parrie cardin. I used to do pen doodling a lot. So i worked out felt tip wouldnt last long. But it does sound like sand paper...

I once did a huge piece like this. It was gelli printed and doodled and I cut about a dozen ATC cards from it. They are still my favorite pieces. I’ve been looking for those Strathmore frame cards too. Praying they have not been discontinued. Thanks as always for the inspiration!

I made this dish today! I brined the Chicken breast for a few days prior. To cut corners, I thickened up Ranch Dressing which worked nicely! Perfect for Company….Very DELISH ❤️.

I have a sissix red die that would work. It is number. 38-0163, rectangle picture frame, cuts outside 4 3/4” x 3 3/4”. The frame is about an inch thick, so 2 3/4 x 3 3/4. Makes a wonderful frame.

Waffleflower has a set of ATC frame dies. You might also try the Hero Arts infinity rectangle dies. Then it would be a matter of just creating a pocket on the inside of the card behind the window.

After last week’s video, I went in search of the Strathmore aperture cards, but came up with ‘out of stock’ everywhere. However, the Strathmore website also appeared, so I messaged them and got a very quick reply - they are still making them. I couldn’t get them shipped to the UK because the cost was double the price of the cards, but I don’t know if the same applies to Canada.
Anyway, love these pieces and will definitely have a go - when I’ve finally finished all my Christmas cards!
