Its revealed that all bangboos internalize their owners as their parents.
And even if you are a bad owners that never shows up to help,
they make up excuses to rationalize why their parent is better than anyone elses.
(You show up to help your bangboo, which makes all the other ones jealous, and they talk about how their parent is better because their's lets them stay out all night.
Or that their parent gives them more responsibility with a lot of chores or
that they're parent is cooler for letting them do dangerous stuff)
Oh wow, now that I've read this, I finally understand what they meant. I was just skimming through the event to get the prizes and only thought it was a funny, kind of fluffy quest-not this dark...
@@jrschannel7 I ham-fisted most of the story in the game just because the UI is so not player/immserion friendly.
Anytime dialogue happens, it just takes control and doesn't let you do anything, I started to use the fast foward button after chapter 2.
But the bangboo quest was mainly overworld cutscenes so I couldn't skip them and read it and it was pretty good.
Luckiboo (rabbit one that throws coins) was sad at the end of the quest that they didn't have a parent and was envious of our bangboo.
Eous, our bangboo just wanted to help it's friends with a quest, BUT luckiboo wanted to find the golden bangiboo because it might get a wish granted (to get a parent)
You get to adopt luckiboo at the end of the quest.

She helps an old woman with dementia.
You find out she's looking for a bunch of different "sweet cakes" (Sugary sweet cakes, loud sweet cakes, crying sweet cakes)
Later on you learn the lady was a nurse, in hallow zero area. She ran the child ward. She took care of so many kids, she couldn't remember there names, just how they acted.
(the nice girl was called the sugary sweet cake, a crying boy was known as the crying sweet cake, etc)
She lost her mind and developed dementia when she heard that a hallow zone was gonna open up.
She tired to save all the kids, but after the hallow opened, she woke up in a hostipal outside the hallow, with the kids missing. the guilt made her go insane.
At the end of the story, Rina reveals she was one of the kids the lady saved, and some of the NPCs (like a hallow investigator, Ollie) where orphans that survived and became good adults because the lady saved all of them.

I believe Rina thanks the old lady for saving all of them, and then says it's her turn to protect the old lady just like she protected them.
Although Rina may have been speaking in a third person, or on behalf of the children, and not from personal experience.
I button mashed some of the dialogue, but I thought Rina because a maid thanks to the lady, she was inspired to look after other due to her experience with the older nurse

I love how independently they are . They just mind their own business. I still remember in CBT , Eous the MC's bangboo also can help us during combat. They throw spherical mini bombs, just like in the cutscene where Eous save Billy and Anby.
Maybe in the future Eous will appear in bangboo banner ?

@@7872921 They should not. I hope they make Eous a permanent addition on any battlefield. It does not deal damage, but it uses the smoke skill when an ally falls below a certain amount of HP.

These little little guys as helpers reminds me of palico from Monster Hunter mainly because they're your little helpers in the battlefield
That Sharkboo animation is beyond adorable! Shame I'm hard-passing on Ellen's banner (saving for Zhu Yuan) when seeing that little guy hammer a trap into the ground would be worth the damage taken to watch it in action.
The Bangboos are on a completely different summon currency without needing Polychromes, besides, I think the Sharkboo's a default one to pull anyway...
Ya Sharkboo is a non-time limited Bang Boo (if there would ever be those) that you pull from the Bang Boo banner using Boopons, and it an S rank Bang Boo as well
@@OnyxEclypse Not a default one to pull if you don't select it as your choice for S Rank Bangboo. Makes it nice so you don't get the wrong S rank in my mind, and I'd much rather have the Butler of the Sharkboo now that my Amillion is max stars.
