The most amazing Big Ben stat is that in his 18 year career, the Steelers had ZERO losing seasons. Think about that. There's ADULTS in Pittsburgh that weren't even born the last time the Steelers were a losing team. And the Steelers had THREE losing seasons the prior 6 years before his arrival. That should tell you something about his value.

It didn’t hit me last night. I almost didn’t accept it. Watching this video brought me back to reality. I’m in tears typing this. I can’t believe this was his final game. It’s like a dream. The music selection here is bringing out a lot of emotions right now idk why they chose this track to play in the background you could’ve picked something more uplifting. Ik we all get old and time waits on no one but for some reason my naive self thought he would be our QB forever. He wanted to go out on top with one more ring and I truly feel he gave it his all last night. Sucks seeing him go out like this but I’m so thankful for what he has done these last 18 years. I’m 23 right now and started watching Ben when I was 6 years old when he won his first Super Bowl. Ask me how I feel. Only knowing the 1 quarterback I would always want to turn on Monday, Thursday, Sunday. I cried my heart out endlessly growing up on close wins, and even the closest losses. Memories I will cherish forever. I wish I could turn back time cause there is no other quarterback I will ever admire as much as Big Ben. #7

I am a Bradshaw super fan. I started following football and the Steelers in Terry's last year. I was only about 12. As a Steeler fan I suffered through decades of mediocre QB play. Through many of those years the position was the only thing that kept them from being really special. The best compliment I can give the man is this... He is the greatest Steeler of all time.
I have seen you play 3 times 2 times at home and 1 time in Dallas your a great QB that has played the game, it takes great talent to be able to extend plays as you did for 18 seasons, I have been a STEELERS fan since 1973 I bleed Black and Gold Congrats # 7 thanks for all the memories and 6 SB wins, you are one of the greats in steeler history and you will be inducted into the HOF...

I'm gonna miss him. My oldest daughter was 4 when he first played. I would throw her foam football to her while they were playing. 18 years later...i don't know how to let go. Not just Ben but my little girl has grown up. Why did it happen so fast?!? I know everything comes to an end but it doesn't make it easier to let go. I'm just so thankful for all the games. Wonderful tribute! This hits hard for me. My grandfather was born and raised in Pittsburgh and played college football as a means to a better life. I’ll never forget him telling me at 13, “This Roethlisberger kid can really play.” A year later we were celebrating together as the Steelers won Super Bowl XL, and a few short months later he passed away suddenly. I’ve always associated Ben with those memories every time I watched him play for the last 18 years. Thank you, 7!
I started watching football Bens rookie year, my whole football fandom starts with him. I’m thankful for everything he gave the Steelers and the fans. If this is it, I’m glad to see he went down swinging. I wish he’d come back but I understand there’s a time for everything

Dam onions! I began with Terry Hanratty and Bradshaw as a kid in Pittsburgh and great memories for sure, 4 SB’s. Some rough years, then ODonnel, Bubby,Tommy Maddox, Vick,Stewart and then came Ben, rough start on and off the field but once things clicked, the city had its son and he was good at it. Ben is Steeler football.

I'm 30 right now. It's crazy to think that the players that I spent watching from my early teenage years on are all retiring. It's down to Sid, Geno, and Tanger that are still around. It was a good time to grow up in Pittsburgh sports.
