I connected from headphones out from mixing board into input of PHA 40. Not enough power source volume very low.

I bought one, trying to use it as a splitter for my powered speakers, I use one Chanel for the high (top) and one for the low end (sub) but it’s not sound proper

yes, but you need to use balanced to un-balanced connectors to the speaker have a look at the link to see the cable on Amazon amzn.to/3Y2MWNa or you will run into a noise-canceling problem with the connection.

I bought one about 5 years ago. Added all kinds of unwanted distortion. Made me not trust headphone amplifiers lol
