If you can, always put your lantern in your right hand of your 2 slot. It’s a free 10+ gold (10 for gray 15 for white etc). I’ve easily gotten 500 gold just from lanterns and it doesn’t even take any inventory space

Possibly a video specific on the best way to kill every mob would be great... certain types together, skeles, zombies, bosses, etc, then it can be time stamped for each mob type.

Pickaxe is also a good way for rogues to break barrels. Probably the best way.
Love the content! Can you do a tier list video on the best stat rolls for rouge weapons and armor?
Good video with some good tips in it, especially on how to fight specific mob types.
Some things i dont ever really hear talked about is like:
Hide + what skill and why?
How far away can people hear you stealth
How to position while stealth to get the jump on people
Nuances with 1v1 combat (how to bait attacks, outplay etc)
Best ways to evade pve mobs when emergency, or use them against others
When to run vs when to take the 1v1 (or 1v3)
I assume repoze takes a lot of this for granted due to experience but i think it would be helpful for new players
1. Weakpoint attack, it just does a crapton of damage and lets u kill players even if they have armor
2. same range as normal
3. comes with time, anywhere the enemies wont walk into you is good,
4. play at your maximum range with rapier / hand crossbow, just poke enemies from further
5. stealthing for a couple seconds will make enemies re-agro
6. comes with time
Everything Mr. Torb Main said except that if you don't have at least a green weapon, take rupture instead of weak point. You can proc it with throwing knives and torches so you can wear any melee class down by constantly running away while harassing with rupture. Also to evade mobs, if you have double jump you can evade anything in the game. Just jump up onto a ledge, then double jump over the mob. Works against champions, wraiths, and centaurs and any other mass amounts of mobs. Then just wait until hide is off cooldown and use it to make them aggro onto other people.
lots of those things you learn with time, its hide+ pinpoint attack if you got good gear bcs its very good agains geared people, rupture is for extra poke with throwables

Pro tip.
In the first few minutes you kill a skele champ from a wall shelf.
You can also just jump om the book stack on the table, no need for double jump and you can git the champ with worse ramge weapons.
The plate boots you heard at 8:20 was the skeleton champion behind the big door in the middle

Hey Repoze you didn't mention it in the vid but do you think weakpoint is better for a fresh gear farm run like this or rupture? I know weakpoint is better for pvp for armor shred but is rupture better for PvE?

Great as always bro. How did you got that recoverable hp once you spawned in hell? Mine just halves down from whatever i had before the hell map started.
This is like watching streamers playing PoE and me comparing myself to them. It's like we're playing a WHOLE different game! Crazy...
Edit: In the last play test, I remember I could duck-watchup the champions attack as well. I haven't tried it on release now, cus, well, I'm bad and usually just panic when I get there :P So maybe its possible now as well? The horizontal attack and horizontal double attack.

Which of the rogue starting daggers is better? I would assume the higher damage one is better but I see you using the other one at the start
the 16dmg one attacks slower so its a bit easier to get more hits off successfully. more hits>more dmg overall

Yeah, it's crazy like how the game has been out three weeks. 21 x 16hrs = 336hrs minimum. Dude has more hours in a game that's been out for three weeks than I do in a game that's been out for years. My dude just gets no puss

Great Content! As a rouge main i have a question, do you use "Creep" at all? (the +5% movespeed, less noise while crouching perk) There is no comparison video on YT about the noise difference and most people who say anything about it dont seem to know what they are talking about. Btw. If you want to make a short video about it it will for sure get some clicks! :)
Bruh just test it. Go in with the perk and crouch walk and then dequip and do it again, you hear your footsteps pretty loud so you can tell the difference
The point about the perk is, that you cant hear it yourself, your noise just gets quiter after a certain distance. @@bumpkin8009

I keep seeing videos of players taking on 1-2 monsters at a time. Meanwhile I spawn into a hallway with 4 goblins and 5 bats all agro on me, so I run for the first door to find 3 mummies, 3 goblins, a magic goblin, a flying skull, and 3 bats.
Another good tip is if you are trying to open a portal in a room full of spiders just jump on the portal

Hey I really appreciate the video, as a new rogue player. I’ve been struggling so hard, even with 1v1s. Usually I’m great at PvP in general but I feel so weak? Is there any tips or advice you can give that I might be forgetting, cause I feel like trash lol
starting rogue is no bueno try buying the 8g rapier from weaponsmith. Also str gloves and agi trousers could help. like 5g each.

Thoughts on rogue rework?I feel like yea he is op but I mean it’s a high mobility ,dps low health class . Even when I’m geared with greens and blues a barb can still destroy me if I make a mistake
The issue comes when people master the class they destroy everyone, hence how dominate he was on the kill board. The class is supposed to be a high skill ceiling.
