    Thank you for this video.. love old photos of Newcastle.. find it so interesting the huge change..
    That Eldon square one with the circle cafe up a height.. reminds me of being a kid throwing pennies in the water feature below!

      Thank you for sharing this. So good to relive childhood memories and especially times when my biggest worry was passing my spelling test at school on a Friday morning!

    Some great memories there. My dad was responsible for installing the music system on the original Tuxedo Princess. The company he worked for had a workshop in Durham Road Birtley for years.

    0.25 seconds in bunch of lads dressed in denim outside the Kard Bar...?could have been me my mates in 1974/75 we were always there
