Great footage,my Dad was born in Dorothy Terrace where ASDA now stands some of those buildings must have been their in the 20's and 30's when he was growing up!
I can still see me my brother and sister walking along from Simpson st to the pally to get the bus down to St John’s school down by the Tyne over sixty years ago
