This is without a doubt one of the single greatest mods I have ever seen. The cutscenes alone put this mod in its own league of quality. I knew from creators like Nightbanes games and the Donut mod team that mods that are short with a somewhat similar amount of effort were possible. But to this scale? To this polish? It’s just absolutely insane, the cutscenes alone are so unbelievably good, but the linear story, the references, the textures pulled from other games, the amount of modding that it would take to even accomplish a 1/10th of what I’ve seen displayed here would take any mod team years if not decades. I don’t know what the turnaround time was for this mod but the fact that it exists currently and we are seeing it put this mod into its own league. A mod to which other mod teams should look to for ideas and inspiration should they wish to make mods of their own. And the mini missions, the race missions, Homer’s outfit change, the animations for the characters in game. And the fact that despite the shit ton of what I can only imagine are completely conflicting texture mod packs, were still brought together and still function is absolutely insane to me. Like the fact this game works at all must be it’s own form of miracle. A true testament to what kind of dedication these developers went through to make this functional at all. I don’t know if this mod team will continue, or if their time for making such a mod for The Simpsons Hit & Run will ever be rewarded enough. But I truly wish them the best in all of their future projects. This mod team alone just raised the bar on what you can do in SHAR modding and I will very much be looking forward to their efforts going forward.

Removing existing assets, adding new assets, smooth retextures of vehicles and costume, new buildings, vehicles and characters from either files outside of SHAR or from even scratch, audio mixing, custom voice lines and the custom made cutscenes for the opening and ending. It truly amazes me how far The Simpsons Hit & Run has come, and is still forever running to this day. We’ve had Storm Over Springfield, Ooze & Booze, Donut Mod, Frank Grimes, Connected Map, Randomiser, Rewards Rando, Media Share Mods 1 and 2 and many, many more. I’m glad to know this game forever keep going even (at the time of this comment) almost 20 years since release!

This entire fucking thing was amazing. From the pre-title cutscene I was hooked, shit looked like something a licensed crossover game would put out, it was genuinely beautiful, not to mention the fact that it broke a fucking skyscraper's worth of new ground in terms of modding. It just showcases how much insane shit is possible to put into the game in the most nonsensical and hilarious ways. 10/10 all the way through
the music that was playing for races if im not mistaken is from Toy Story Snes/Genesis Version, not quite sure which, the music in the race in going on in 22:09, is called Buzz Clip

I love the W&G Were Rabbit music and I'm glad they used it in place of the homer's day off music for traveling around town.
