Would love to see coop moves ,at least just being able to help another player climb a high obstacle would be cool and offer new opportunities. And i always like having coop interaction between players. Would love to be able to share MAGS and equipments between players. Asymmetric type of mission. Like one player goes lightly equiped into air vents or else to infiltrate a base, then proceed to open it from the inside for the more equipped squad to go in. I really want the ability to go underwater. Always liked the fantasy of infiltrating a base while swimming in some obscure tunnels Have a tac map where you can draw and prepare a plan with other players Being able to hang under a truck. Classic movie trope but always cool to do in a videogame But more than everything, bring back the wildlands style of open world, where you feel truly immersed.
Just a point for consideration on Sam Fisher being present in Ghost Recon, is that way back in GR2 and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory it was shown that the two branches do exist in the same canon. In GR2 and Chaos Theory the USS Walsh is destroyed in both games, tying the two franchises together intrinsically. Sam Fisher being in R6: Siege ties the three game together (there may be more connections, although I'm unaware of any outside of easter eggs). The Silent Spade mission was the perfect match (as ASQD mentioned) for a GR tie in mission. That being said, I think the devs need to realize 80's action movies (Predator, Terminator, god forbid we get Rambo next) need to be left behind. You can do easter eggs, (Snake's Bandana, references to MGS etc) but the presence of these wildly out of canon events needs to be removed. IMO.
No gear score. No flying drones from enemy no ground drones period from enemy no bohemoths no unrelated Tom Clancy events. No NFTS NO LOOTER SHOOTER BS
Gear score is fine if it's tied to your level. That's a decent way to pad the run time. borderlands works because you can farm specific. So if you're gonna make a looter shooter make a looter shooter, oh wait that's the division. Make weapons on demand the better alternative rather than looting. Also, tom Clancy games have now become the techno military genre? Maybe remove behemoths because, fun as they are they really are a jump compared to the "stealth" gameplay.
Would be cool to get a rewind before Breakpoint that still has Jon Bernthal. Play through the fall of a Ghost... sounds awesome. Will rollback some of that future tech as well... agreed...
If there is heavies in the next game. I pray that if their face is exposed and you shoot it. It counts as a one shot. Never understood that mechanic in break point. A nose shot only takes the helmet off lol.
Facts. Predator was damn good for Wildlands. It worked for the atmosphere of the game, it fit in that setting, and they set it up well. I want Breakpoint gun play, Wildlands everything else.
Ate-Up and Andy thanks for using one of my videos and yes this is IronMike1775SGT just one person of many in Fortunes Favors The Brave Extreme Dream Team. Semper Fidelis
So to your comments in the video about third person, me personally I like first because I feel more immersed but they should allow the next game have both to accompany both player groups.
I don't mind the vehicular drones, but the Behemoths guarding a loot and credit box in the middle of nowhere are pointless just to gain skill points. Once you fill your skill tree, Behemoths are of no use unless they are in a base to add a touch of difficulty.
Your podcasts, videos and surveys are giving us some of the ghost recon dream. Love to listen. So much good thoughts. Why does ubisoft not do such developer/ community talks to check what we want? I mean it could be so easy for them 😂 just listen and talk. Invite people, that love the games etc. I hope they drop a good pvp also. Wildlands pvp was awesome and i played it for years. Breakpoint pvp was bad. Maybe 2 games played... If they make a awesome game, then i am willing to pay for main game und for pvp extra und also for dlcs extra... Better they sell good content, then make shit monitizations... At the moment i play insurgency at ps4. And it runs often unter 20 fps... But its still some serious fun. I am waiting for a awesome tactical shooter that runs on ue5 or an engine like this. Only when there is something like this it makes sense to buy a ps5 in my eyes 😅
The random respawn points after getting shot can be a huge pain in the butt. Many a time I have been spawned to a location where I cannot physically rejoin the fight due to shear cliff faces etc.
The fact that you can kill Walker so early and that the developers put attention to the details is cool, but so significant part of Breakpoint’s story is based on Walker and getting in his head, so this was not the game to do it in.
I hope Ubisoft drops an early teaser trailer, when they are ready and then show some work in progress things from the game, like small studios do it. Then they can get early feedback without doing an alpha test or showing to much of the game. Something like movements or animations etc. I think that would help then making an awesome game and will definitive let the playerbase/fans grow! 😊
Dynamic missions. Let's say we have a mission where you need to capture and interrogate an HVT, but he escapes. The op is a failure. However, it is not over. That same HVT has now relocated to a new location inside a new compound with more guards than the first op. This means we may have to get new intel on his new location and change how we approach the mission the second time around? Too much, maybe?
I know I'm a bit late to the party as I just found your Podcast. Love it, BTW. As someone into Long Range Shooting, I was vastly disappointed with the scope selection. LR scopes with no variable distance setups? WTF? No bullet drop compensation? It's easier in the Sniper Elite series with WW2 scopes to shoot up to 500 yards then these crappy selection of scopes. Also, please get away from RPG type gaming for 1st and 3rd person shooters. I prefer skill trees and don't need to accessorize with tons of outfits so please do away with all the costumes. In addition to that, the menu system is way more complex than it needs to be and after you've activated a bivy, why in the world should you have to set up camp every single time? There should be a vehicle waiting for you after you've activated it and why is the helicopter sometime put halfway down the mountain from a bivy? This makes the mini map essential, IMO. Also, if we're KIA, why do we often times respawn so far away from the mission AND without the items we used before we were KIA? I like 1st person and 3rd person shooters. I prefer this game to stay in 3rd. I would be happy if there was a choice between the two though. The biggest thing with both 1st and 3rd is to get away from this RPG element. If I wanted to play an RPG, I'd play Baldur's Gate. Far Cry ruined the series with that crap. I agree we don't need all these ridiculous cosmetics with weapons and fashion. Just give us guns that are military weapons that functions as such. Finally, it would be nice to have an offline option. I've had issues with connecting to the servers on Breakpoint, as well as other games. In Hitman, you can play offline, Far Cry 3 and 4, you can play offline.
i am in the minority, but i definitely feel like fear score can remain in the game as long as it is done correctly it mainly targets arcady like shooters which maybe more friendly to new players who are just learning the game
Ive probably played every tom clancy game ever produced starting with rogue spear island thunder being one of the best wildlands being best multi player
I think what must be overstood is the kind of lens Ubisoft is looking through. They are not looking through a passionate, creative potential lens like us. They seem to be making decisions through the lens of "what is selling?". The launch of Breakpoint and the Frontline game they tried to present is clear evidence of this. I truly hope i am wrong when I say this: The only language they will understand is numbers. If they don't make the money back and more they lose out big time. But I believe they know that no matter what, shitty game or not, you content creators are going to support them by buying the game to support your chanel. If we take a true stand and not buy or make videos on their bullshit game that will speak louder than any podcast or survey can ever hope to achieve. They look more at numbers. Once they see the numbers drop or not meet their standard, that's when they become open to the community feedback. If they don't listen, which is very likely, buying their product and making videos will only keep them relevant. If we take a stand and say I'm no longer supporting your trash they become less relevant which will force them to take a different approach because they have to make the money back that they used to create the game and more in order for their product to be considered successful. Just a thought.
Or just turn it off yourself like you've been doing. No need to gatekeep. After all, it's a game that should be enjoyed by everyone, like every other GR game before it. We all don't play the game the same. Even in co op, people play the same game, different.

Why are you guys saying ghost recon is a tac shooter? It can't be a tac shooter because it's not first person. You can just look over an angle. It's a "badass"simulator. It's not a tac shooter
I totally agree with almost everything. But I'm kinda gonna have yo disagree. Ghost recon is not and cannot be classified as a tac shooter. Just because it's 3rd person. You can never have a tac shooter that is 3rd person because you have too much knowledge. But yeah. All great points
Would be nice if everyone on this podcast would tell Ubisoft to make a recon wildlands 2 breakpoint is crap. You could order stacking and breaching in both Future Soldier and Vagas 2. So it's ridiculous they forgot they have this technology in 2023.
