Not disagreeing at all with that simi/im was/is a terror org as pfi today is. However there were no members....at least prominent....from Kerala Tamilnad and the Deep-South in simi/im. You cannot keep blaming Indian Muslims for what the founders of Pakistan or other erstwhile Muslim leaders did. It has been 75 years. Othering people will affect the country further. The state has to find ways for amalgamation and assimilation. While this can be difficult, the minimum is to not otherise them, the state must not add to the problem.

1. Muslims do not vote even for Muslims candidates of BJP. So, BJP can't field Muslims candidates in perpetuity only to prove its secular credentials by losing those seats.

The secular government of Vasant Rao Naik simply profited from the actions of Shiv Sena. If the Muslims feel alienated, they can vote with their feet and go to better places where there is Muslim majority and Shariah.

Mus|ims voted one sided for muslim league over congress in 1946 election. 96% of them voted for jinnah. Hindus at the same time voted for congress with a mus|im maulana president. 23% of mus|ims got 25% of the land on the basis of that election. But after voting jinnah they hadn't gone to Pakistan fearing ríóts ans because of the greed of their land. And congress also kept them here just to use them as a vote bank. In 1947 hindus weren't that united our ancestors couldn't demand for complete population exchange. But why should we share power with them? Sharing our land, wealth isn't enough? It will decrease even further. Hindus might be uneducated, politically not united back in 1947. But now we are.

13% of the total population of india including hindo/Muslim/Christian etc etc had voting rights in 1946 elections. & Out of that 13% of 96% voted for Muslim league. 87% of the total population of Muslim didn't have the voting rights. Go read the history.

This is absolutely absurd. There are Hindus in minority in United States does that mean they have share in power in United States? It is also merit based. Muslims had the option to go to Pakistan at time of partition. There cannot be reservations for Muslims in Lok Sabha or Assembly based on religion.
As a Keralite, I would like to point out one thing. BjP has placed only one Muslim in their candidat list across the country. It's Dr Abdul Salam @ Malappuram. Malappuram is a permanent seat of Indian Union Muslim League. But, this fully Muslim dominated constituency people will never vote for Dr.Abdul Salam. He will be defeated in a high margin. So, this rivalry attitude of Muslims against BJP will remain there without any changes. 😢
Fortunately the time for such Hindu-Muslim debate is in the past. One need not be a Hindu, Parsi, Sikh, catholic, Buddhist or Muslim to deliver to the people, of India… Sabke saath San ka vikas. I don't understand Guptaji's normalisation of expectations of violence from a particular minority community in India, it's planting a justification to protect certain elements within the community. Other communities face much worse as minorities within our own region and else where but we do not see nor normalise or justify potential violence if it were to erupt. Also comparing India's treatment of it minority to Israel is so utterly dishonest.
Edit: None of this is to say genuine problems do not exist or that the status quo is perfect.

Congress ruled for a long time, pandered to the Muslim voters and favoured them more than the Hindu voters under the name of secularism. But still Muslims have not progressed as much. So what that means is appeasement policies do not bring progress but make those sections of society completely dependent on the Centre.
So it makes sense for the Muslims to vote for BJP and use "sab ka saath sab ka vikas" vision of PM Modi to realign themselves to progress along with the rest of India. Yes Muslims representation is very very less in BJP era, it needs to be corrected.
BJP should share political power with progressive Muslims particularly Muslim women without thinking about votes.
But but the alienation will not end for Muslims, this alienation is somewhat self built in Islam itself.
Tell in which country where Muslims are in minority, they are not feeling alienation. Check European nations Muslims , there also they are feeling alienation.
Islam is built in such a way , there customs , their ideology , their faith , influence of clergy , it will not allow them organically to mix with mainstream. Islam is a political ideology where they want to exert , dominate through any means, and for that their society are built in such a way to make them monolithic with respect with outside mainstream. This monolithic is beneficial to exert street power , to extracting benefits and ultimately to dominate the society and to grow numerically . This monolithic will allow them to vote in block, and use them as power .That's why many opposing parties in India are bending backwards to appease them.

But if Muslims continue to view BJP with suspicion then why BJP should consider them for political appointments or as electoral candidates. Muslims too need to make an outreach to bridge the divide
