for the first 9 years of my life i went to a private christian school then i was home schooled in a christian program. gotta say my whole life i have avoided marilyn manson because i always felt like his music went against my religion but i cant lie this song is pretty good. I've felt myself drifting away from that part of my life lately.
I'm Christian and have been told that music genre/style itself doesn't matter. As long as the lyrics are okay, you can listen to whatever you want. I guess genre does matter though in depending on what type of Christianity you're a part of (especially Protestant fundamentalist Christianity). You shouldn't feel guilty about listening to rock.

Artist like Marilyn reminds me of Lucifer. He was one of God's angels and was cast out of Heaven for being a sinner with no regrets. If you feel your self slipping like you claim, always remember; God welcomes back anyone who accepts him, no matter what you have done in your life. When you sin and you have guilt of your transgressions, that means you are Heaven material. A sinner without regrets is not Heaven material. I am not a preacher or the holiest person in the world, its just thats how I feel about God. I will sin everyday, but refuse to abuse " Your sins are forgiven and forgotten." What you said happens to everyone.
