Wow. Such an exciting piece this is. You captured this scene perfectly! Great job on including the actual footage at the end. I loved Old Boy. Sooo freaking messed up and twisted, but emotionally edge of the seat and the choreography of fight scene in the hall!! Quite a breath of fresh air when I saw thia. Your work here is too frkn cool, Chuck. Especially when you know the background story. When I heard there was going to be a remake (yrs ago) I knew there is no way they would follow through with the original plot and ending, lol. Well, Take care out there. TTFN.

What I understand from Old Boy is the filming of the single cut of the Hall Scene. IT was the first of its kind, and the Netflix (now Disney) Daredevil Hall Scene was based on the Old Boy scene. Both single takes. Old Boy had many copy cats come after it, but it was the first of them all. It really influenced so much. Not just movies, but cinematography, music, special effects, and stories. Such an amazing movie. So anytime you see the single cut in a movie (esp in a hall), thank Old Boy. If you see dramatic action scenes in an action movie with all the feel of this movie, not just thanks to the Movie, but everyone who worked ON the movie. It's an amazing movie. Have I seen it? Nope. I just know how influential it really is. Of course thanks to you and your amazing art I can feel, I HAVE to watch it now. ;) Your image is beautiful. I would love to see it in a frame that makes it feel like it is a movie frame on a TV screen. The 3D effect of the 'wall paper' is fantastic, and gives it this palpable look. "I want to touch it" thing ... that is going on with it. I love that. Art should be looked at (most times) but when you (I) want to touch it, it really draws you (me) in and hits all the senses. I just love art like that. It is speaking to more than just the eyes then. Great piece.
