I loved The Odd Couple, and Jack had a good run with the show Quincy in the late '70's to early '80's but eventually his voice did get so rough it became difficult to understand him.

A funny tidbit related to when Jack said "We work next door to one another" about he and Florence. "The Odd Couple" and "The Brady Bunch" filmed on the same lot. In Maureen McCormick's autobiography, "Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice," she tells how she would often see Tony Randall and Jack Klugman on the food lines outside. Then she revealed that she always liked older men, and had a big crush on Jack then. Florence incidentally is looking quite gorgeous in this clip.

I ran into him on 46th st toward the end of his life and we had a brief conversation and his voice was very gravely but he was very nice. I had broken my hand and he asked me how I broke it. It’s sad to see the show acknowledge him with the odd couple theme when he made some fantastic movies

I smoked for 12 years, and tried to quit many times. The THIRD DAY is the absolute worst. If you can make it to day 4, and have all the support you need, it's downhill from there. My last cigarette was 11 and a half years ago.

@Rod Berg Health & Wellness, Truth & Knowledge. this is only true in the sense that being aware of inherited genetics.......one has to compensate with diet...supplements etc.... or they certainly will succumb to many of the same illnesses that killed their parents/grandparents...heart defects.....arthritis.....mental illness etc..are all examples of inherited illness...addiction to drugs and booze too.....so be careful about making blanket statements......they very seldom are true......without qualifiers

@Rod Berg Health & Wellness, Truth & Knowledge. there is a bit of truth in what you say..though genetics DOES play the paramount part.....if you believe that is not true..then YOU MUST be able to tell everyone how to regrow their hair....and dont worry about losing the hundreds of billions of dollars you will earn as a result...because no one is listening..........

@@jadezee6316 Well, you can regrow hair if you use Rogaine or Propecia...but with limited results. You can try natural remedies (onion juice...yes, it's true) but the results are not always consistent. If I lose all my hair, I save on haircuts!
