small note on killing nutcrackers; you dont have to wait until after the reload is over you can kill the nutcracker during the reload animation and still get both shells loaded into the shotgun when it is dropped also on client you can shoot the nutcracker before he even pops out his eye cause client side bullshittery

1:53 but nitpicky but theres a 4th "woody" sound that plays when you hit something organic like trees and the cabins (in v55 trees are slightly bugged and are transparent to shovels and enemies, so it will play the whoosh sound) a i hit trees all the time while running so i hear this sound all the time lol, had to point it out

tbh it happens with every game that blows up, it's not gonna stay at that player count forever, you can't call it dead just cuz it doesnt have 200k players. there's still a very much alive community of people that enjoy the game a ton and keep it alive. if the devs were to make the same mistakes many other devs did, then yes the game would actually die

It’s a bug, many enemy’s don’t make the crunch sound when hit, dogs and giants are the worst offenders of this case.
What happens if the shotgun misfires but it's not in your hand? or does the timer only work if you're currently holding it?
iirc shotgun's misfire timer pauses(?) in inventory when not held

There's a bug that causes the hit to register 2, 3, or 4 times depending on how many hotboxes it hits. Each hitbox that gets hit is 10 damage
