2003 Polaris 500 H.O with a 50 inch Moose County Plow. I used it since New and Moved More Snow then I Care 2 with it. I live in Wisconsin and it does the Job of my Truck Plow. A Good ATV with a with a County Plow will move Snow.
Best thing for snow is a blower especially to get it out of the way ! So the machine with the blower attached is the best in my opinion. When I lived on the farm we had a blower it was the best at clearing the snow. Now I live in the suburbs and just use a blade on my Suzuki.
Depends. In a tight space a snowblower can be better. In a bigger area, a plow is MUCH better.. .I own a snowblower, pickup plow, ATV plow and a skid loader. In some cases.a skid loader beats all the rest too.
I have a large walk behind snowblower and am currently looking for an atv with a snowblower. A large walk behind is extremely heavy and difficult to handle, escecially on large driveways and long private roads, of which I have both. I also have no room to simply plow and stack snow. It's got to be blown.
I used an ATV for years... I always hated you couldn't turn the blade and didn't do great in deep snow...Still much better than walking behind a snowblower. My life changed when I got a Western V-plow for my Duramax.
You can get V blades for ATV's, side by sides and tractors now as well. They even have lighter ones for jeeps. On a truck they are shot in 3 years even with maintenance but my 5 uni mount straight blades have lasted 25+ years and get moved to newer trucks every few years. The Ultra mounts rot out at the mounting ears..
Been thinking a blower for the Polaris 6x Sportsman, which with a plow will push a ton of snow but it gets limited if you run out of space to push and put it.
The blower is a nice option but can be quite a bit slower. I think it really depends on what you are plowing, the terrain and the amount/type of snow. I have blades on both my atvs but my neighbour (less hilly, shorter drive) uses a blower & loves it. Mine is 700' long and steep & windy. We get snow most days from Nov - Feb but its usually 1-4inches, with the occasional 10-20" dump.
A garden tractor with a snow thrower will do things even a pickup truck with a plow can't do. They are kind of slow but far more effective. Same with an ATV with a snow thrower.
Very interesting comparison between tyres and tracks and different attachments. Unfortunately we have little need for these in the south east of the U.K. where I live. When is the next ice age due ?
Motorcycles Special I used a Suzuki Eiger 400 with a 60 inch plow for eight years. Then I got a husqvarna yth 150 garden tractor and fitted a 42 inch snowblower to it.
Whatever you do don't buy a bercomac snowblower. My primary prop blew after 5 snowfalls. Took 10 months to repair. Which by the way was 1/2 way through the next winter. No warranty after the repair. We faught hard enough to get full refund on machine. It was a fight. There is one manufactured in Sweden that doesn't have bogie wheels and allows you to drive over snowballs and loads easier. Makes driving on rough terrain to access lake to make rink much more doable than with bogie wheels. They really restrict where you travel
Some people already have quads - for the small investment of a plow - it's an amazing snow moving device. For those that say "you need tracks" - this video is proof they work just fine. If you think you need tracks and have the $5000 or so they cost. Then you buy em. As For the rest of the world..... We like the machine as their designed. I'll say I'd rather that - than shovel the crap. Just sayin.
Here its not legal to put snow in the road, not sure about accross, but a lot of times people push it out to or just into the edge, then go into the road and push it into the sides of the driveway at an angle,
I have a plow like a quad plow on my garden tractor and mini TPI tractor tires like on the bike farm tractors it's awesome i make a lot of money plowing driveways with it I have a orange tractor triangle so I can drive it on the streets in the winter around the neighborhood and neighborhoods close by mine
Hi, Love the tracked atv. I see a few have a box type of plow in the videos. Does the snow ever flow over the top of the box type plows? I would assume it would for very deep snow. I do a lot of RC snow plowing. I subscribed!
WTH Unless you tell us the brand/model of the machine, and something about the plow, tires, engine the vid is of little value. Great work, just saying you have room to add value. Thanks
The only 2 quads of any value are the 2 with tracks. You can not pile snow with tires on a quad. You can plow with tires on but once you’re out of room to put the snow your done. Tires break through when trying to climb the pile then you’re hung up on the blade and quad frame. More time spinning and not working. When you live in an area with a lot of snow it’s critical to have a place to put it. I use tracks with drift cutters on the blade and make 10 foot tall piles on the yard and keep the snow away from around the house all winter.
There’s no skill needed to plow snow off of a driveway. All these guys with tires are spinning once hitting the thick snow and then can’t pile anything once it’s higher then 3 feet. All they have is a shovel with a motor. Now they built a dam for the wind to drop more snow. Anyone who has spent 5 to 6 months of the year dealing with the white stuff knows you need to move it as far as possible as soon as it starts and that requires a snowblower or a way to pile or remove it totally and a quad with tires won’t cut it unless you have a 20 acre empty lot beside your driveway and even then you need to push that clean every time so you can push your snow on it. So no tires on a quad suck. I tried it for 2 winters and said enough is enough. I cleaned my farm yard with my walk behind blower till I bought a quad with tracks and a blade and I wouldn’t go back.
James Richards Skill? There’s no skill in being able to hang up a quad on a snow ridge. Come on over and show me your wonderful skill in 3 feet of fresh wet heavy snow. I need a spot big enough to turn a semi with a 53 foot trailer around in front of my shop.
You're full of crap. I had a 400 cc Sportsman with a 4 foot plow and could pile snow 6-7 feet high or more. If you TRY something you'll succeed at it! All you need to put a little weight on the ploow.
I laugh seeing people plowing on quads. My dad bailed out the neighbors a bit because cant push that much. I bought a loader for the tractor and i bailed out the other nieghbor because his tractor couldnt push it up and it was a bad winter
A 400-606 cc quad is by far the best, fastest and most manageable;e way to plow snow because you can swing it around in a driveway and plow in both directions, but it's not worth a darn if you don't put a, 8 inch snow deflector on top of the plow. Most farm stores sell conveyor belting that you can use for that. The big 800 cc quads are just too big and too clumsy for use as a plowing machine. But dress warm because you're going to get colder than a well-digger's ass!!! Especially your hands and feet.
Word of advice... when you take that CF moto POS into the dealer because its broken... take the plow off of it...all of it. Don't make them hate you even more for you being a cheap bastard.
Is there any good heart to buy and donate a quad of 550 cubic meters and I would give him a land in Montenegro in a place that is visited by tourists from around the world where he can open a restaurant or hotel.
Gosh, watching all these Can Ams makes me appreciate my long trusted rubicon that's for sure.
Functional machines are beautiful. Enjoyed it. Thank you from Japan.
Thank you so much that your country makes the best four wheelers lol

Can-am plows always roll the snow so beautifully
Snow blowing is life saving

Some people can plow, some people can’t plow, some should never plow!
GREAT CONCEPTS A WORKING IN YOUR WORLD TY FOR POSTING /SHARING HAVE A GOOD ONE ! Rick
I am pretty sure that a fair sized walk behind Snowblower is more effective and more efficient in most circumstances
I have a large walk behind snowblower and am currently looking for an atv with a snowblower. A large walk behind is extremely heavy and difficult to handle, escecially on large driveways and long private roads, of which I have both. I also have no room to simply plow and stack snow. It's got to be blown.
A walk-behind will never ever come close.
I used an ATV for years... I always hated you couldn't turn the blade and didn't do great in deep snow...Still much better than walking behind a snowblower. My life changed when I got a Western V-plow for my Duramax.

4:45 i like that Can Am plow blade.
What are the best tires for deep snow plowing?
Can am Apline Flex plow is a really solid plow.
Been there done that. I'll take my kubota with heated cab any day and can move 10 times the snow
Mike Zahnow atv is 10+ times the fun though
Someone really left a comment saying it's illegal to push snow in or across the street come on your you goddamn hero
Ahh, the jerk who plows snow across the road, and doesn't clean it up
It's also illegal cars can hit it and crash.
Ahh the asshole who almost hit me doing 50 while I'm trying to clean snow out of my driveway
1st dude .... gonna destroy that drivetrain pretty quick.
Snow blowing is the best less wear on the machine
wheres the one with the engine in back!
Бомба!)
How do you get rid of snow in the winter?
P L O W I T !!!!
MOVE TO FLORIDA? MERRY XMAS FROM THE SUNSHINE STATE !
Have fun with hurricanes :D
Call the local meth heads and crack addicts, offer a discounted price, then watch it disappear

игрушки для богатых до первого нормального снега, со снегометом ещё терпимо. купите тракторишко или снегомет хороший.

Never really watched this video to the end. Should have did it sooner. I didn't realise that I was on this video. 👍
Well..what kind of plow is that you are using then????
Везёт Вам буржуям, вся техника и прибомбасы качественно сделаны. У нас в России всё одноразовое, а ваша техника дорого у нас стоит ((
word is, that kid is still trying to clear that lake off.

I'm in the rest of the world so I put chains on. It's like adding another gear
I always make a pass down the middle and then you can go both ways with the plow tilted one way. Just my opinion on long driveways.
First clip, is that legal?
Here this is not legal to put snow back on to the road, not even over.
exactly... i hate asshloes that do that. almost wrote off a car once, some dick left windrows across the highway where he pushed his snow
Here its not legal to put snow in the road, not sure about accross, but a lot of times people push it out to or just into the edge, then go into the road and push it into the sides of the driveway at an angle,
Not legal in Maine, not enforced much ether but can be dangerous for traffic.
Not legal but not enforced much here
not to mention ripping up the neighbors grass
People with way too much money 💰.. they don't even know how to use these machines 😄
0:37 does anyone know which track susoension system are mounted?
Is the snowblower attachment manufactured? Or is it a home built design?
I have a plow like a quad plow on my garden tractor and mini TPI tractor tires like on the bike farm tractors it's awesome i make a lot of money plowing driveways with it I have a orange tractor triangle so I can drive it on the streets in the winter around the neighborhood and neighborhoods close by mine
That's sweet AF
Boy do most of those guys need to learn how to plow snow.
Hi, Love the tracked atv. I see a few have a box type of plow in the videos. Does the snow ever flow over the top of the box type plows? I would assume it would for very deep snow. I do a lot of RC snow plowing. I subscribed!
Snow blower best way to go
Who makes that raising bucket
..where to get the snowblower attachment ?
Standing up while plowing is dangerous , catching a rock will send you flying
WTH Unless you tell us the brand/model of the machine, and something about the plow, tires, engine the vid is of little value. Great work, just saying you have room to add value. Thanks
The only one that made any sense was the track vehicle with the snowblower. The rest were pretty useless.
How so ?
What kind of 4 wheeler and snow plow is at 2:15
I think it's a Honda foreman
Cf moto for the win
Most places it’s illegal to push snow in to the street or across them. Not to mention it’s dangerous
This is just the most popular vids of plowing in one vid
I hope the first video wasn't shot in Maine. It's illegal to plow accross the street.
What plow is that

4:46 what size of tires is that ?
guessing about 28s, dont look big enough to be 30s
Tractor with a blower is the way to go. Those toys are not meant to move snow....
First
Россия вперёд!
0:40 what is this plow name
can am OEM alpine flex plow
I laugh seeing people plowing on quads. My dad bailed out the neighbors a bit because cant push that much. I bought a loader for the tractor and i bailed out the other nieghbor because his tractor couldnt push it up and it was a bad winter
Only a blower can deal with a 2' + dump.
How u use that. There is no snow.
It 's No best quads! Good job becouse big fat guy seat in bikes. Thats what doing god.

Not a bad solution but I prefer my skid steer + chains with an 8ft blower on it. now that really can out turn an ATV. Turns on a dime.
Yeah but costs about 5 times the amount
I agree but I put a cab on and hand warmers on the atv. Cab was only a couple hundred, makes all the difference
too bad some of these folks have all these great toys and dont know how to use them
какая мощность квадроцикла?
Argo best atv for snow removal
И трактор не нужен))
Those plows are so small they are useless. If the snow is more than 6 inches it just goes right over the top and leaves snow all behind it.
Move To Florida!!
У квадрика износ в 3 раза быстрее при использовании отвала.
Cant say i liked any of it horrible for your suspension like the blower on with the one on lags but still blowing cv shafts daily i bet lol
IKR!! I could out do all of this with my LIl JD 314 with a plow... an ATV is no set up frame or suspension wise to do plow snow
1:07 please what is it??
several atv plow brands have atachments to turn the plow into a bucket. i believe warn, kimpex, and moose do, just to name a few
Thumbs down bait click

Wow ..people buy anything
Nice clickbait were is the one with the blower on the front and the drive on the back. 👎👎👎👎👎👎
Is there any good heart to buy and donate a quad of 550 cubic meters and I would give him a land in Montenegro in a place that is visited by tourists from around the world where he can open a restaurant or hotel.
do you have to slam through like a maniac?
Just buy a nice 2 stage snow blower.
good
One dude was plowing Lake Michigan
Who else thinks this is fucking satisfying
👍
Not impressed by the operators knowledge on plowing snow or the fact that it's not your material.
Or just buy tractor....
Well...WTF??? So which plow is "best????" 👎👎👎
For sale lightly ridden adult owned
