      Is there no organization that will prosecute the ones that are clearly cases for neglect, why don't the auction people give the names over to the authorities? I an not from America so not sure how animal cruelty cases are handled, extremely sad watching these poor innocent animals, l am glad they are mentioned in the Bible as being in heaven, that is the only good thing about their release from this earth .

    When Shae was in the stall checking on the horse that she bid on, it seemed like there was such a connection with her and that horse. I was almost expecting a smooch and some red lipstick on the horse’s pink nose! 💋 The entire story of the bidding war and the conversation afterwards was so interesting. Best wishes Shae, whatever you decide regarding that horse.

    I know the feeling… I’ve cried over many horses… especially working on the track and it’s a claiming race. Walking them out to the paddocks… then prepared to retrieve them after they’ve won, place or showed. Then they’re gone. And you walk back empty handed, bawling your eyes out with their lead rope and halter while the others walk back behind you with their tack. 😭🥺. Worst feeling in the world. X5. Still hurts to this day… but other horses come and go. I love what you do. Even if a horse is only “yours” for a few hours or years, they remain in your heart. Hugs.

    • @JeannetteShoreland
      @JeannetteShoreland Рік тому +5

      I've never understood the rationale behind a Claiming Race. If the owner and trainer have put all that money and effort into training a good horse for a race, and if the horse wins, the owner loses the horse. Some random person just walks up and claims it; don't understand it at all!

I get to live vicariously through you without the actual temptation and heartbreak of being in person as I do not have a farm or the money to own a horse. I’m sorry that it didn’t work out with that sweetheart today. I think your attitude about it is something we can all learn from. If it’s meant to be it will happen. I'm more of a quarter horse guy and the big boned stuff never really moved me but growing up in the Deep South we all rode ranch related horses and no one owned any kind of wagon. Seeing horses who have not been well tended or taken care of, like that pony with the bad hooves, is infuriating and that owner needs to be taken to task for such neglect.

    Hi Shae! I’ve been trying to think what so thrilling about watching your auction videos. One part of it is that we get to go window shopping without the danger of impulse buying! When we go shopping in stores, there’s a bit of an endorphin rush, I think, just from admiring all the wonderful choices that appeal to us. You’ve definitely got a great approach and formula for your auction videos, and it seems like you make more fans every time 😉 It’s been neat to watch your channel keep on growing over these past few months. I sure appreciate the entertainment and education.

    What a beautiful connection. Shea l also liked that horse as well. The Palomino was gorgeous. I am sorry you were not able to buy that one horse.

    My goal in the past was to save as many as I could with hopes of rehoming eventually. I did it with my own money and no outside help. I was lucky to have the money. It was a tremendous joy, but also heartbreaking. God bless.
