स्तन कैंसर या ब्रैस्ट कैंसर यह स्त्रियों में पाया जाने वाला सबसे आम कैंसर है। ऐसा अनुमान है की शहरी विभाग में हर २२ स्त्रियों मैसे १ स्त्री को स्तन का कैंसर होता है और ये आगे जाके यह गिनती बढ़ने वाली है।
ब्रैस्ट कैंसर , स्तन के गठनोंमें पाया जाता है। स्तन कैंसर के लक्षण यह होते है :
स्तन में गठान आना , जिसमे दर्द नहीं होता जब यह गठाने बगल में आती है तब इनमे दर्द होनेकी सम्भवना होती है।
जब गाठ स्तन से फैलती है तब उसे metastasis breast cancer कहा जाता है और यह liver , bones , lungs में फ़ैल सकती है। इसके हिसाब से लक्षण अलग अलग हो सकता है।

ब्रैस्ट कैंसर का इलाज ( Breast cancer Treatment)
Early Breast Cancer इसे हम सर्जरी द्वारा निकल सकते है। सर्जरी दो प्रकार की होती है। सर्जरी दो प्रकार की होती है
-Modified Radical Mastectomy
Breast conserving सर्जरी
इन दोनों के results एक जैसे ही होते है।
अगर कैंसर दूसरे अवयव में फ़ैल जाए तो सर्जरी का कोई उपयोग नहीं होता ऐसे में डॉक्टर्स chemo या targeted therapy से कैंसर को काबू में रख सकते है।
पहले, फैले हुए कैंसर में मरीज की आयु ६ महीनेसे - १ साल हुआ करती थी अब अच्छे तकनीकों के कारण यह अब ३ - ४ साल तक हो चूका है।
ब्रैस्ट कैंसर पहले स्टेजेस में detect हुआ तो जल्द से जल्द इसका पूरी तरह इलाज हो सकता है।
Stage 1 breast cancer में 95% लोग पूरी तरह ठीक हो सकते है।
Stage 2 breast cancer में 70- 80% लोग पूरी तरह से ठीक हो सकते है।
Stage 3 breast cancer में 50- 60% लोग पूरी तरह से ठीक हो सकते है।
Stage 4 breast cancer में हम cure नहीं कर सकते है लेकिन ट्रीटमेंट से मरीज की आयु बढ़ा सकते है।
ब्रैस्ट कैंसर को कैसे रोके
Mammography , ४० साल की उम्र के बाद हर स्त्री को २ साल में एक बार करनी चाहिए।
Breast self check भी रेगुलर तौर पे करना चाहिए।
डॉक्टर की सलाह ले।
जिनको genetic history है breast cancer की वह लोग blood test द्वारा risk का पता कर सकते है।
