- Hey to the Rush fans! Here is our cover of "Time Stand Still," a song we've played in our recent shows. We love this song for so many reasons, and we wanted to cover it with the "full treatment" here.
On vocals is Rocky Kuner, with Mat Miranda (on drums, percussion), Ben King (on guitar), and Isamu Kakitani (on bass, keys, and pedals).

“Mood Lifters - A Tribute to Rush” is a Southern California Rush Tribute Band formed in 2021. The band’s focus is on the faithful recreation and performance of songs from all eras of Rush’s career, “from first to last.” Every song is on the table, and the band performs the classics and deep cuts with tremendous energy and care.
Each of the Mood Lifters is a lifelong fan of Rush and has played Rush’s music for decades in other Rush tribute bands or otherwise.
I didn't think any group of people could cover Rush. Then you. I really loved 'No One at the Bridge'

OMG I LOVE you guys! I can’t compliment the near Xerox copy guitar and bass, without acknowledging that I think you’ve resurrected Neil Peart on drums, and Rocky’s vocals…especially this track doubling Aimee Mann’s distinctive vocal…I wanna join the band!

note and can actually play keyboards and pedals.

Powerful and clear voice; beautiful.
That was terrific by all you. The Bass playing is very fluid and really has a fluent Geddy feel to it. The guitar and drums are spot on. Rocky's got such a terrific tone and the lyrics cut through nicely. Something about her, she really pushed you guys into the next higher echelon.
Super version! Vocals and all musicians are on point! I would move the bass a little stronger in this mix. Outstanding!

Really great cover . And as a bonus Rocky gets to sing Geddy's and Ami's parts. But I love how you used your own( fantastic) voice for both and didn't try to imitate.
Love the drums especially with roto Toms I've always been partial to them . The bass tone is great. I like that it's not the Wal type tone youve gone for .I always preferred his fender and Ricky sounds . And heck I wish I could play that well . The guitar is really precise . Who doesn't love a Lp with a floyd ( I don't know specifics ) is that Alex's signature guitar? ..
And the obligatory " oberheim" type foot pedals ( again guessing) ... I'm very jealous of all your abilities but at the same time happy to leave it to the professionals and just listen. Thank you for bringing some light to my day .

edit .. just watched again and noticed "Roland pk5" ... I really should pay more attention!
Thank you for your comment. Yes, the pedal is Roland PK-5, I have been using this about 10 years. The pedal used for just MIDI trigger, all sounds out from my synth by trigger.
Oh, and yes, that is Alex's signature model. Ben's #1 for sure!

wow rocky. you're getting better if that can be believed. your technique seems like you're avoid too much emoting you might hear in modern music today and really just singing these with pure tone . really really impressed.

Great job on this one MLs. Vocals sounded awesome, felt more like a natural-feeling interpretation rather than an overly-attempted imitation - kudos! TBH, I'm a little puzzled by the EQ and mix on the guitar since the guitar in the whole song is more of a constant filler rather than having more dynamics. Not to say that it's not dynamic. ;)
