the way the guitar echoes at the end of the intro sounds amazing you can hear the echo in the concert hall, thats one in a million perfomance right there ! Love you all !
Been jamming to our Canadian friends for 43 years. However, this is my first time hearing this song and this group. It sounds like Rush but different, which makes it a good cover. Female voice is a cool twist. Lead guitarist knows what he's doing.
Billy's guitar tone is sick on this track.
Nothing ever 'replaces' Rush, but there's nothing better from a pro-perfect tribute band IMO than an AWESOME female vocalist. Absolutely love this! Thank you.
Oh my GOD! Its like listening to Ged, Al, and the Professor! The music is note perfect! Patty as usual is just made to sing RUSH!
Billy Fn Alexander! Great tone! Tim is the best bassist out there
I think I was reading Billy's bio on Wikipedia or something and they said he's been with some pretty good talent. Like he worked with Tom Petty and produced with some others? It's not like the guy hasn't had the experience and knows what it takes. It obviously shows
What you can't see very well is Tim pulling double duty on the Taurus pedals without skipping a beat on the bass. Nice job! Patty is a great addition to the lineup too.
Best female singer that does Rush amazing
Wow! Out standing job guys... And the nice thing about female singers is they fit Geddy's sound perfectly. (Sorry Ged.. LOL) .
The Sherman seems to be a magical place to see YYNOT. Ever since the first show (March 2019) when The Sherman took a chance to book them based on heavy fan input (they chose wisely) and then the second show in Feb 2022 with the new singer Patty Pershayla which continued that magic. Patty had not yet made public whether she was staying on or was wrapping up her temporary rescue of the band to allow them to keep their previous venue commitments.
Patty supercharges a group that already boasts top writing and top musicianship. Restrained (what? Patty?) wearing high heels which did not seem to come naturally to her onstage, she delivered powerful vocals and, what we would all find out in future show comparisons, those heels seemed to hinder her physically active attack on top of those powerful and enjoyable pipes. Watch her dance to Rush. Unreal! I have friends who have heard (but not seen the videos) some Rush songs sung by her and it took them awhile to figure out that it was not Geddy. See them! They are well worth the overnighter! We all await the fourth cd of originals with Patty delivering vocals.
Hey guys it's Dave from The Bass Channel here - obviously gotta love Tim's mastery of the Ged, but damn everything I've heard from you guys is just massively impressive (covers and originals alike). I think Billy's nailing the hell out of those guitar "textures" too - Lifeson's always got the most interesting chords+tone combos.
I hear you man. It's hard to pick out who's the best in this band at closely as possible getting the sound. I mean even the drummer, fills in fairly well. Obviously he's not Peart on everything, but he definitely hits all the main parts
This band came out of nowhere. Amazing. Well done, you guys! Enjoying this! Thank you!
Rocky and Patty are running 80 miles per hour. I can´t decide which one is better! Both are amazing!
Excellent !! .. the sustained A Chords cut through beautifully !!
I miss seeing the Professor Ged and Al, but you guys make it easier. Please come to New England!
They have a concert scheduled in Horseheads, NY. Not very far from New England.
Glad I'm back checking you guys out. Patty is a welcome addition and fits you guys a lot better.
This might be not just the best cover from YYNOT, but perhaps the best cover I have ever seen. Near perfection.
sounding tighter than ever...she smokes!!
Well shot and edited not to mention SOUND. Shows how heavy and rocking G/P was. Awesome tribute.
That guitar tone was dead on! And the solo: WOW! 👌
Great show in Des Plaines Illinois. Big RUSH fan. Nailed it!
awesome cover😁
the singer is awesome , good looks too
awesome !!!! Everything. Is that Alex's guitar rig? That sound is perfect
It's Rush.....*Cries*....
Outstanding. It produced lots of memories in me. It's note accurate.
This is masterful, beautiful. I don’t always love Rush’s post-Signals music, but this performance breathes fresh life into it, and now I have a lump in my throat. Please come and play in Newcastle, UK… a set of classic Rush and a set of your originals…. Please!?
What a deep cut from the Grace Under Pressure album! I really hope you play there again. Awesome stuff for sure
All right I’ve been watching these guys for like a year on videos, but this is the best so far, this is just really just about perfect.
Awesome performance! Any chance of a European Tour??
Wow. The tone, the guitar tone. Attention to tonal detail, wow, just wow. Amazing dedication, thank you!!!
Beautiful, amazing job guys. From the vocals to the instruments, what an amazing job. Thank you
The Four of you knock it out of the park!!
Impeccable performance. Outstanding, bravo, blah, blah, blah blah blah, Blah BLAH blahblah! :) :)
Seriously that's GOOD.
So much promise here with this band. Keep that shit tight folks. Looking forward to new music.
Mike is an incredible drummer
I love hearing female vocalists on Rush covers, and Patty is PERFECT! Never let her go! :)
All I have to say is...WOW!! I've been a RUSH fan since 1979. Man YYNOT you guys nailed it. Next I'd love to hear some King X covers. Hint. Hint..
Please make it San Antonio I and the city would love to see this show and your performance
That was awesome !!!
Awesome.
Love every bit of this, it's absolutely brilliant. The sound guy is aces here bringing it all to life. Just a great job all the way around !!!
We have Billy to thank for the mix (as well as the guitar playing) 😀
Patty is amazing
Nice!! That was scary good! Hope to see you back in Florida soon.
This is soooo good...Rush would be so proud!
Nailed it. Sounded great from start to finish.
Professional performance, firstrate orchestration (especially the drums)!
Amazing 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Really cool to see you covering a song from Grace Under Pressure. Well done.
Excellent
Effing Awesome!!! Hair up on the back of your neck kind of thing! I hope to see you guys one day, your Rush covers and own material is just sheer brilliance.
Fantastic!
Goddam, you guys absolutely rock! 🥳🤘
I could listen to Patty sing all day! Not only here where she is a fantastic addition to the lineup but solo and with her own band The Mayhaps. A most talented young lady! YYNOT is what happens when you have four musicians that bring the finest of talent to the game!
Right on!!! It's nice to see these post Signals songs. I wouldn't be mad to see more peppered into the shows. Billy, I have a request if I may. Turn The Page would be a nice treat, I know you'd knock it out of the park. Either way keep keeping on. I can dig it; can you dig it? ✌
It’s just the age It’s just a stage We disengage We turn the page…
@@richardguinan3298 Fricken Neil, he sure could right them.
Killer deeper track #NailedIt
Very good cover !
Excellent. Absolutely excellent! ✌🏻🇬🇧
I was at this show and this song was just one of the many, many highlights, including some of their outstanding originals. Looking forward to you swinging through Pennsylvania again in October.
Just to echo what the others are saying with my extra two cents... I saw Rush live on the Signals Tour... your performance sounds so much like what I remember hearing in Madison Square Garden in NYC. I remember Alex playing his black Strat a greal deal in that show, but heck it doesn't make a difference. Gave me chills.. thanks, so much, and all I can hope is that Geddy and Alex (and Neil!) are following along with the rest of us!
That was really good! Brings me back
YYNOT has incredible original stuff also
Wait, Billy grew some facial hair four months ago? I guess I've been out of the loop for some time now. lol Nicely done everyone 🤘😁🤘🤘
Fantastic! 🎶❤️
Absolutely nailed it. Well done Tim and co!!!
So good! Thank you...
So Fantastic you guys!!!!
Absolutely fantastic! P/G album is one my faves from Rush and you nailed this tune. Would love to hear you guys tackle some of Rush's mellower tracks as well. I can almost hear Patty's voice on Available Light.
Excellent!
Wow, first few bars and I'm already lovin this!
And it gets better with repeated listens
1001001 SOS
I close my eyes and it's Rush.
Best line up yet !!!!!!
The instrumental part is perfectly crafted, and that enchanting raw edge in Patty's voice adds even extra fuel to the whole part...I cannot believe what I see...is like the true expression of what Rush would do nowadays, it seems that these guys signed a contract with them, to continue their thing...
Fantastic as always!
Wow!...awesome guys!
Wow!
Damn! That's good!!
excellent
October 7th 2022 At Penn's Peak. Rush songs are excellent but there original music is awesome!!!! If you in north east PA it's a don't miss show!!!
so good!
Amazing! Keep it coming!
Awesome..!
HOLY PHUCK!!!!!!!!
Well done. Great bass sound.
Doing a great job and having a blast at the same time. 🥳
Fucking NAILED it! Awesome stuff :)
Wow, I love you guys. You nailed this one. Thanks for filling my cup with some Rush
I still don't think people watching this know how fucking unbelievably Good Billy Alexander is doing Alex. I mean.......😮
Nailed it as always guys!
Um abraço do Brasil.
I was there.
Excellent as usual guys!
Wonderful cover!!! 👏 👏 👏
Kick ass!
damn this was so legit - make me damn happy
Perfect job !!!
Great song choice! Well done and the drummer is awesome! Congrats!
All Rush covers should have a woman as the lead vocalist, end of story, period. I loved Primus' 'A Farewell to Kings' Tribute tour, but Claypool hilariously said it himself in Toronto that Geddys voice is too fucking hard lol, so he asked the crowd to sing along. But this incredible woman, Geddys voice is no problem, at all, wow.
Incredible and your albums are wonderful!
Ever going to do a west coast tour? Trip to WA or OR?
Nailed it!
Every performer, locked in step, recreating the original, in their own way; as Patty does with the vocals; in a perfect tribute to the original, but just a tad better. Thoroughly enjoyable in itself, but also as homage to the original craftwork in the original musicianship, at it's best! I look forward to attending a live show to experience the magic in person!! Tour like it's 2015!!
I saw them in Detroit last year. It was WONDERFUL.
