Makes sense airsoft feels more popular then paintball. But sadly around by me I can't tell "normal" people what airsoft is. I gotta say it's "dry paintball" and they understand that better 😂
Paintball is making a comeback but it lost popularity mainly because in the US there were a lot of gov't officials as well as big companies pushing regulations or just to burry it so nobody knows about it. The only way to get paintball guns without buying them online was Walmart, and they aren't known for anything of quality that way. Magfed guns also are a thing now in paintball where they are much more "Milsim." You used to be able to add a lot of upgrades on paintball guns, I spent over $700 on internal parts for mine, but it's less of a thing now because technology has come a long way. For $500 you're basically getting a maxed out paintball gun with no reason to upgrade internal parts. The more expensive guns just have "Nice to haves" like an lcd screen or even an app so you can change settings from your phone.
I don’t know where you thought you can “maxed out” the internals for paintball gun for only $500. I got $1200 into my dye dsr+. That being said I also I have $2000+ into my monk neo2 and there’s nothing I cheap about that gun. All the best parts and it’s flawless.
@@puttingwarheadsonforeheads9872 a 500 dollar etha 3 preforms pretty mucht he same as the dye dsr but plastic. It has almost the same bolt of PE's high end markers
Every time the first argument is “realism” I’m starting to believe it’s just a cosplay game now.
Its Military LARPING. So yeah. XD
I probably account for at least half of the airsoft searches 😂
