❤you guys! I bet growing up you two drove your momma crazy!!! I have a son! Love how you cirrrct each other snd prove the other wrong! Lol😂. One will say probable list for 21 the other 28. Does momma have to decide?!?!😅
Once again a great informative video. Thanks for sharing all the brands you pick up. It really helps me to remember what to look for when i'm out on the hunt plus it really helps me to see that it is still possible for a newer reseller to build a great business.
Thanks for sharing. I'm trying to learn more about clothing. I'll have to check to see if you have any videos on high end only or what cream of the crop things to look out for. I've learned a little bit about all over print and vintage band tees and tags. There are a lot of copies and fakes out there and I don't feel very comfortable yet with being able to tell the difference.
You're welcome! I'm glad you're interested in learning more about clothing. We do have some videos that focus on high-end items and how to spot the cream of the crop. It's great that you're already learning about all-over prints and vintage band tees; those are definitely hot items. You're right about the challenge of identifying fakes and copies. It can be tricky, but with practice, you'll get better at it. Keep an eye on our channel for more tips and guides on authenticating high-end and vintage pieces. If you have any specific questions or need advice on certain items, feel free to reach out anytime.
It was cool seeing you at the thrift. Was I the first person to recognize you from youtube? Tony seems salty he missed it lol. You guys are killing it on ebay and youtube, keep it up!
Great brands! I have literally never seen a single one of these brands besides Tommy Bahama out here in California. Do you go into richer neighborhoods or have any suggestions how to source these brands?
We don’t typically go in to certain areas. We found a few really good stores, but we only did that after going a lot of dud stores. We have heard that more expensive areas do pay off for some people but we haven’t noticed a huge difference personally
Thank you for your videos! Just found you guys! I am thinking about FT reselling...do I really need a storage unit? How much would you pay starting out per month for one?
Thank you for watching! You definitely don’t need one if you have the space in your home, but if you’re full time you most likely have a lot of items so it might be difficult to store them in your home. A storage unit is a good solution if it’s close to you, mainly because it’s way cheaper than renting out a building/warehouse. How much to pay for one has a lot of factors to it. Really depends on how much you’re making, what your budget is, the quality of the storage unit/building you pick, and how big of a storage unit you would need. In our area you can get a decent sized storage unit for around 100-200 a month. Long term that adds up, so something like a shed is a good idea as well. You pay more upfront, but it’ll pay off in the long run. But for the most part we would start out storing your items in your home just to keep your business costs low and then slowly work your way to some other storage method once you have a nice little nest egg saved up!
@@ResaleBrothers Thank you so much for your comprehensive response! I live on Long Island NY, so everything is pretty expensive. I am trying to scale to another level since I am getting better picking items. Thank you so much and I will be watching that is for sure! You guys use Vendoo? I just started Autoposher since the other guys I watch all use that. So when you crosslist to POSH (which I haven't started yet) do you add more shipping to items since everything is Priority on there? I try to keep shipping low. Thank you! MJ
We just switched to autoposher from vendoo as well! We typically don’t add shipping or use discounted shipping rates on posh unless we make an offer to someone. We just put the weights of the items and then use their normal shipping prices. For Mercari we use free shipping and then raise our prices a little bit.
When we thrift it is the two of us and our mom that goes out. She loves to find the good deals with us! But that’s it, we do not have a team. It’s normally an all day affair. Around 8 hours, sometimes a little more, just depends on the day.
How do you guys deal with scammers? Or do you just write it off? I have an order I am going to ship that I am obviously going to be scammed (since its going to be tracked most likely I will get a lesser item returned). How I know its a scam is the person who ordered the item died in 2018, the address its being shipped to is a business address, the account was started today and had one positive review from a large clothing reseller in the same town. Obviously my item will be relisted on their store after they return me some junk. I tried to contact Ebay but cannot get to a person to help. As a seller if you do not send it you get dinged and when you know you are going to get ripped off I guess you just deal with it.
It honestly doesn’t happen to us very often. So we just send it out and hope nothing happens. However, we did have one time where the wrong item was returned to us. When that happened we reported it to eBay and then we withheld 50% of the refund (eBay doesn’t punish you for this). So if eBay doesn’t give us our money back we at least won’t lose it all. We do the same thing if someone returns an item in worse condition than it was sent. Scamming does happen with reselling but we’re glad it doesn’t happen very often.

That's crazy! How many stores are you hitting to get 350 items in a day?
We watched you on TV, so we subscribed. You’ll are great and love how you show the label.
Your videos help a lot! I watched the October one and you mentioned Raleigh denim. I found a pair at my first stop that day. 😀
Definitely recheck the polo country, a lot of that commands significant money.
So happy I found your channel
We’re so happy too! Thanks for watching! 😁

Also from Ohio. I'm up by the lake.
Awesome! Might see ya sometime in the wild!
Great video guys. Just curious what your price per item at the thrifts is? Thanks
Normally it’s around $5 for a thrift haul. The cost average for this haul was $5.10
@@ResaleBrothersnice! Yeah when I thrift it’s more like $7-10 range. Thanks and keep up the great vids.
How many items do you guys list per day?
We list 75 items per day!
That’s awesome! Do you guys sell around that amount per day as well?
We’re getting close to it! We’re normally around 50-60 a day right now.

Great video! How long did it take you to thrift all of that, and how many stores did you have to go to?
Thank you! It took us about 9-10 hours to find it all. We went to 6 or 7 stores to find it all.
How many stores does it take you for 350 items? Are you only doing thrift stores?
Normally takes 6-10 stores and mostly thrift stores! Some local wholesale stores!
I'm in Southern Ohio 😎
Nice!!
What part of Ohio you two live?
We’re in the southwest area!
A lot of Ohio sellers 😂 I'm in Columbus. Are you guys my local competiton? lol
Haha no you don’t have to worry about us!
