when she's screaming in your sleep, it's just her trying to find Edward. When she can't, it causes her to scream from the lose of the life she wanted with him.
I always thought it was due to nightmares from what happened in the first movie with James 😭
I didn’t understand why she was doing that when I first saw the movie, now I understand why. She just wanted to be with him, and she was too sad because he wasn’t there.

Whenever the cast did interviews, everyone else was bashing it and talking about how it's beneath them.
But not Michael. No, instead he spent the whole time talking about how much he loves the fantasy genre and getting to work in it.
Neil Gaiman saw this and sent him some of his books, they met up over lunch, and they've been friends ever since.
So, you know. No matter how much you may hate the twilight series, something good DID come out of it.
Plus Aro as even more campy than written is an achievement. Like, it looks like Micheal Sheen just had SO much fun doing this over the top super gay vampire (who DEFINITELY had/has a thing with Carlisle let's be real). I love him.

I was OBSESSED with the design for the wolves, I love the fact that they look like regular ones but massive, the cgi looks pretty amazing to this day,

I am still amazed how good the wolves look in the film. Just amazing 🤩
I found Bellas depressive period where she shut down completely extremly interesting in the books. The pages where basically empty, just displaying the month, which I think was a verry neat idea to both show the passage of time, the mental state of our protagonist, and to play with the general medium of books where you have to flip pages to see what comes next. I think the movie tried to adapt that quiet interestingly with the rotating shot showing time pass by outside Bellas window while she was sitting still in the same spot. Obviously she wasn't sitting in a chair 24/7, but it's a nice and creative visual idea to portray her feeling of beeing both frozen in place, and time passing her by to quickly (the thing she is afraid of throughout this entire movie, and in general ever since meeting edward and nearly dying)
Goes to show that Stephenie has absolutely no writing skills.

Jessica’s non-stop talking is why Bella chose her, everything she does in the first half of the movie is basically to find distractions she can use to cover the empty part of her where Edward should be. Loved when you said you couldn’t get used to Jake with long hair and I’m thinking well wait 10 minutes it’ll be gone. Even though I do like this, the second half more than the first, it is the weakest of the 5. Looking forward to seeing how you react to the rest though.

As someone who’s been a fan of Twilight since it came out, having read the books and saw the movies multiple times, trust me when I say the majority of Twilight fans are well aware of the saga’s imperfections and cringe-worthiness, so don’t worry too much about offending people. Most of us love the series and can also laugh about it too. I am in a fan group on Facebook and we meme the crap out of the series. It’s all in good fun. 😊
I'm glad that you are finally watching this one. This one isn't exactly my favorite for some reason and it isn't because that Edward is barely in it. But eclipse is my favorite one since it has my favorite horror actress in it, Jodelle Ferland.
And Iron Giant? YES! I used to love watching that as a kid!

23:40 oops... yeah, about that... twilight and new moon happened in the spam of a year, which is terrible to think about because in less than a year Bella and Edward were already so obsessed with each other, it would make me think that they've been known each other for a lot longer!
I don't get how Edward wanting to off himself thinking that Bella was gone is toxic. He's not doing it as a manipulation tactic. He's doing it because he genuinely believed she was gone. I think it's a relatable feeling. Of course no one should do it, but we've all felt like that before. Especially in Edward's and Bella's case... They are soul mates
Fun fact: Jackson Rathbone, Jasper, is also Sokka, Katara’s older brother, in the live action The Last Airbender movie.
I feel bad for him because he's actually a damn good actor. Heck he's probably the only Twilight cast member that still treats its fan base with respect.

I’m so glad I read the books first. The movies leave out so many details and inner monologue that explains how Bella feels.
if you had read the books then you'll know that Bella kept a job the entire series.. the movies left out ALOT of things.
I always wish they would have incorporated the ways in which Bella cooked for and interacted with charlie..she seems so indifferent in the films towards him..

Exactly the reaction I still have when I watch the sequel. I do believe that for the fact Bella should get to make her own choice and that neither Jacob or Edward should tell her how to make it. Because in the end it’s her that’s gonna have to live with the consequences of the choice. However at the same time I can see the toxicity of this relationship. Also I don’t know if anyone’s address this, but Jacob and his clan are not werewolves, but shapeshifters who can take the form of wolves. A true werewolf changes during a full moon and they have no control over their humanity due to their mind being in a feral state. Whereas Jacob and his clan are in control of their humanity. And to answer your question about werewolves versus vampires, you’ll just have to wait and see. 🧛🏻🤷🏻♀️🐺❤️💔❤️🩹💔

Ah yes! The famous technique of '' protecting '' Bella by sending her towards vases so her cut can be bigger. Edward had a good idea 😅It's not like he could stay in front of her and pushed Jasper or something! Hurting her more was the best solution, for sure!
He did push Jasper. Jasper didn't just decide to fly backwards into the piano for the heck of it.
The idea of pushing Bella out of harms way wasn't bad... it's just that he pushed her too hard. It was a mistake, but an understandable one anyone might make in a situation like that.

They recast Victoria for the 3rd movie, but I always thought she looked different between 1 and 2 as well.
Always pissed me off that Edward got owned in that fight like that. It would have been the complete opposite.
Only thing I can think is he was weaker from not eating, his eyes were dark instead of golden indicating he hadn’t eaten/hunted in a while. And in eclipse I think is when Bella tells him they have to hunt for strength to fight the newborns so they can’t protect her and Charlie 24/7 so they have to bring the wolves in. So tldr I believe Edward was just weak from the depression/not eating prior to the fight
@@KelKelray25 No it's just a movie thing. IN the books he always wins fights because he can literally read their minds and know what they are doing before. The only person that stood against him was Jasper when they were training and that's because Jasper was the most skilled fighter in the books. Also pretty sure this fight didn't even happen in the books.

Bella character always was more vampire then human in the books. She could even smell blood in the books.
1v1 a vampire is gonna win. It’s like hyenas. It takes like 4 hyenas to take out a lioness, and like 10 to take of male lion. Maybe 12 if they are scared of the lion. It’s kinda like the same thing here. Ofc wolves can kill fodder vampires 1 on 1. But for the main side characters and shit it takes at least 2 or 3 wolves.

7:28 I still don't understand why he threw her across the room causing her to bleed even more. Jasper was the only one affected up to that point. How about Instead of throwing her he could have just asked Alice to calm jasper down or take him outside or if needed or Carlyle,emmet,Alice,rose and esme could have held him back and taken him outside. Instead Edward made the situation way worse than it needed to be for no reason.
She wants to be changed because she doesn't want to be an old woman when Edward is still young.

The twilight movies are very amazing and cool.
Jacob doesn't have good lines because he's supposed to be awkward, goofy, and uncomfortable with himself, he's basically going through wolf puberty lmao 🤣
As for the break up.. For all the same reasons why Edward loves her, he's designed to make her love him. His smell, his hair, his skin, in the book everything about him is meant to draw her in, so when he leaves she's not crying because it's not like losing a love, she was losing a drug. He left her because she was addicted to him, and not in love with him. She was willing to live for him, not with him, and it was dangerous.
My personal opinion... if there was a war between the wolves and the Cullens, I think the Cullens would actually win.
The wolves have only been around for a few months, and have only even met one vampire so far. The Cullens have been around for like a century, and IMO at least probably know how to handle themselves. Plus they have a mind reader, which is handy.

Long story short, she's the only one that went home with an autograph.
Overall this was my least favorite movie from the franchise, I don't know... it has some good moments like the introduction of the Volturi, the whole relationship of how vampire laws work, the introduction of werewolves, the question of why Bella is immune to some powers but even so it seems that something is missing and the movie it drags on until the climax moment, which is the final scene with the Volturi and the marriage proposal. and in fact this is one of the films that shows the most toxicity in Bella's relationship with Edward... it's been amazing to follow your reactions from the Saga and I can't wait for the next films, especially Breaking Dawn pt.2 and Eclipse, which are my favorites! I think New Moon is a fun movie IF you you fast forward from Edward leaving to Bella jumping off the cliff. That whole middle part just kind of drags, but the beginning and middle are a lot of fun.
After 11 years I still love Jacob he's my favorite character and it hearts me to see Bella lead him on. She knows he likes her and wants to be with her but she doesn't want him. Yet she entertains the idea of them being a thing so he can fulfill Bellas emotional needs.
I know that book Bella and movie Bella tend to do things differently. Movie Bella just straight up gaslights Jacob so much, even when Jacob debates about moving on.
but jacob is also toxic DEMANDING her love and not taking no for an anwser... hes to much

@@elenadehaan6549 also his demanding of her comes from the fact that he’s a werewolf and has primal instincts he can’t control, if she had just given him a clear answer and space he would have eventually learned to be more normal, but instead she doesn’t give him clear concrete answers and gives him mixed signals so she can have him as a back up. That’s ultimately the reason she even hung out out with him in this movie as he was just a distraction, and then the moment he came back she dropped him so hard, even though he helped her get back on her feet.

So, werewolf versus vampire. Werewolves can heal rapidly, kind of like Wolverine. In their wolf forms they're faster than vampires and about equally as strong. Though vampire skin is as strong as steel, werewolf teeth and claws can rip right through it.
When a werewolf dies it can't come back to life, while if a vampire is ripped apart they can be put back together if they're not burned. Vampire Venom is poisonous to werewolves and will retard their healing abilities. Vampires have the advantage in the water, a vampire can swim as fast as a shark while the werewolves can barely manage a dog paddle. One-on-one in simply physical combat, a vampire and a werewolf are about evenly matched.
My opinon, I think the wolves only have the advantage in numbers. One on one I think a vamp would win.
To kill a vampire, a wolf has to completely tear a vampire apart. But a vamp can theoretically kills a wolf with just one bit. A wolf is just much easier to kill. That's why the wolves IMO need to hunt in packs.
@@noelbernabe8704 it's explained in Stephanie Myers book The Twilight Saga the official Illustrated guide, that a single vampire bite will not kill a werewolf, it merely retards their healing abilities. It would take multiple bites combined with injuries to kill a wolf. Otherwise a vampire could break a wolf's neck. The werewolf could get a vampire from behind. And with their teeth quickly take the head off and then dismember the rest of the body.
@@MegaMan352 That's kind of why I think wolves need to fight in numbers. They're more able to come at a vamp from behind or the side when they're attacking in a coordinated strike with numbers. You're a lot less likely to be able to jump a vamp from behind when it's one on one.
As far as a vamp biting a wolf, even if it doesn't instantly kill them I think the pain from the vampire vemon would likely mean the vamp can either end the fight or at least get away.
I won't say a single wolf can't in theory beat a vamp. But I don't agree it's an even match up. I think the deck is stacked in the vamps favor, hence wolves attacking in numbers.

If these movies came out nowadays, then the cgi will be updated too. I can think of quite a few movies that have similar cgi to this, but that doesn’t make it bad, they were just released around the same time.

I like how every reactor so far I see for these movvies are always like “ why are these 2 hot mythical creatures fighting over this boring ass plain girl?”, and yes I understand that beauty is in the eyes of the beholder and everything, but there’s always something that outward the reason for wanting to be with someone, she’s not fun, she’s not interesting, she’s always showing clingy tendencies. Why did teenage girls and their mom love these movies again?
I remember thinking she was best for Bella cuz how awkward she is. In the books they describe Bella as awkward and average but I think she is a little above average
I think Bella was only average in her own insecure mind. Literally every guy in forks seemed to be chasing after her, so she in all likelihood was well above average.
Honestly Bella is not my favourite character in New Moon, movie and book.
A main problem I always had in this series is that they try to make being immortal so grand that even the main character wants it. Yet every character that we see that is a vampire mainly the Cullens never really chose to be immortal, they were screwed over in the mortal life and wanted revenge and now they can never have a real life as they can never age and will have to leave their friends and loved ones behind.
I think it makes a lot of sense though. Humans always want what they don't have. Bella want's imortality becouse of Edward, and becouse she almost died the last movie. A natural human fear of death, and imortality is the perfect way to get away from that threat.
But most of those who alredy have imortality, would give a lot to be mortal again. Edward thinks his soul is cursed, Rosalie never wanted to be imortal and wishes for nothing more than to be human again, Carlisle isn't to fond of his imortality eather but uses it to safe others, and (as shown later) one of the Voltury is literally so tired of beeing imortal that he willingly accepts death if presented with it.
There are Vampires that don't mind beeing imortal, like Alice, Emmet or Benjamin (last movie), becouse they are just content with their lives, and there are those who like their imortality becouse they still fear death, like Aro. Just like there are humans who don't fancy the idea of imortality in real live becouse they like their live the way it is, mortality and all, and don't fear death.
It's the perfect two sides of a coin. Most humans want imortality becouse they don't have it, and most of the imortals (vampires) want back mortality becouse they don't have it. And between those two stand those who are simply content with what they have, or who are afraid of what having the oposite would mean for them.
(aaaaand, I'm rambling again xD Sorry for the long comment!)

I respect your opinion but I think the twilight movies are terrible Robert Paddenson is a good actor but he was completely miscast in all these movies.
Hell even the new Batman was a good movie and Robert Pattinson was much better in that movie as the main character, which made west money than these movies which is fucking bullshit in my opinion.
