Excellent Gerard, had the same problems, all sorted thanks to your video, done the vanos solonoids etc, plugs coil packs, almost there, then the sensor was the last thing. Cheers from Australia. Great work Gerard, love the way you add all the technical data.

Hello friend I have a nightmare with mi N42B20 engine with a misfire current, I swap coils and sparks and the misfire continues in cyl 3, swap injectors and continue, I changed the o2 sensors and continue the misfire cyl 3 with the bank 2 before cat code I checked the dme with comp serviste and says it’s ok I have to start the car and accelerate and brake it in the road to the car goes with idle stable but I shut off and then start again and the misfire and o2 codes comes again. I don’t know what else to do, compression it’s over 150 too, what more can I check?
did u solve ur problem ?
@@karim-iz7lwhello, no, I Did Not I still looking for the problem and here no one reply but they ask you to suscribe and give a like always , I have this engine and I can’t recognize which it’s sensor 1 or 2 and bank 1 or bank 2 already
Ok I really need help with my bmw m6 2015 I have no codes I have no problem pr noises - but my problem is that it does not feel like an M6! It doesn't speed up like a fast car should I step on the gas and the RPMs move up slow
I had this problem with my last bmw, I had to have my intake manifold replaced
@garyburke7384 thanks for replying! So my m6 is a 2015 it has a new engine in it but this car if I step on it the first time it hits the RPMs fast but it does not peel out! Or feel like it's taking off! If I am already doing like 40 and try to race the RPMS move up so slow even on sports plus mode and traction off.
@@88adrian25 yeah so with mine it felt okay in lower gears but when I had it out on the motorway, it would struggle to get above 2000 RPM, I would have my foot down to the floor but would only very gradually pick up any speed and would struggle to get above 120. With these BMW’s going to your nearest BMW garage is the best thing to do just so they can run diagnostics, so many different things could be the issue
