So because dogs are cute and we've bred them into perfect little companions, is it not abuse to own them? Does someone who loves you chop your balls off and trap you in a cage? Dogs have the genetics of a wolf... Imagine the number of behaviors we've prevented them from having by removing them from the wild... Do you really think any number of walks could ever compare to the life of a wolf in the wild? Can the same dry food everyday compare to a natural diet in the wolf pack? We really need to think about how to change the perception of pet ownership as well... It's not as important, but we shouldn't ignore it either... Dogs are abused everyday and we shouldn't forget that
I find it very distracting in most situations when people do that.... sometimes it's very passive-aggressive if the person doesn't want you to talk back......a very domineering woman at work does it to me all the time

@@TheDuckSquash This is pretty simple, animal agriculture (at any scale) IS causing suffering. We have no need for meat or animal product to survive so there is nothing to debate. Ariane It’s probably that simple in your mind if you only listen to vegans. How long have you been vegan? You probably haven’t been vegan long enough to feel the negative health effects.
I am an ethical vegan for over 7 years and I completely agree with Joe on every point BUT I think from a tactical standpoint it is not wise to attack vegetarians like that. For many people being vegetarian is a transition phase because they are just not able to give it up ALL AT ONCE. I was a vegetarian for several years before I succeeded in upgrading to complete veganism. But when we insult vegetarians and tell them they are fucking hypocrites, chances are they won't use that as motivation to finally become vegan but probably more as a motivation to leave the whole animal rights movement behind because they don't want to get insulted when they already trying to do the right thing. I think it would be way wiser to say: "Hey, you're a vegetarian and this is awesome. You're already walking in the right direction and I applaud you for that. But do you not think that it would be even better to become vegan since the egg- and dairy industry is super fucked up as well? Right. Ok cool, here are some good tips to develop your vegetarian lifestyle into a vegan lifestyle". I had to get rid of him because it was cruel to keep dogs. Can you explain that?. You're a hypocrite, am I not?. I loved the dog that caught bulls with me, who saved me from a herd bull. I had to give him away, because he was very violent, and couldn't work with quite cattle. He and I worked with alot of bulls and bullocks. He was bitten by a snake. It's your mind that tells us that we shouldn't have that sort of loyalty. Since you never had it
Yeah, when people say they will "reduce their intake", it's supposed to make us happy right? But I think Joey is right, there should be no tolerance for it. Every single time they eat meat from that point onward, they are paying for another individual animal to be killed. What if that individual was someone's pet? Would it then be enough to say "but I reduced my intake!" Of course not. I went vegan overnight, and not looked back since. If I can help it I will never eat meat again.
Gotta lurve Joey. Here's a real man who doesn't need to mask behind a macho "must eat meat" persona. Just contemplating the wonderful Joaquin Phoenix, unashamedly compassionate on the world stage and wondering if he suffers the same hateful comments as some of those on Joey's posts. In any case, he, and you, Joey, are far bigger than that.💖

People who are dog lovers care about dogs...that doesn't mean it extends to all animals...or even all breeds of dogs...this is basic English and you are having trouble understanding such a simple thing?
Does anybody know where this specific clip of the baby chickens being masarated (not sure if I spelled that correctly) was from? Was it Land of hope and glory or Dominion or another documentary?
While I can agree that from a vegans perspective, someone who has “befriend” an animal (has a pet) but still eats meat and someone who dislikes pets and eats meat would both be morally inferior. I’d have do disagree with the conclusion that that they are morally the same. From my perspective, the person who “befriends” an animal would still have a sort of moral high ground over someone who wouldn’t like to befriend an animal. To take things to a more extreme level, suppose we are comparing two murderers, one murderer has the ability to feel empathy and can care for family/friends but otherwise has no value for life, the other murderer has absolutely zero regard for life. Would you say that they are equally inhuman? Would you say that the one who values some life is the same as the one who does not because both have killed people?
The sign does not make sense tbh. You could love dogs and not be vegan. Just because you love dogs does not mean that you love all animals. If the sign were to say "Animal lovers who aern't vegan are hypocrites..." then that would make more sense given what he is arguing.

I’m 15 and have just recently gone vegan. I already feel so much better, physically and mentally & your videos helped me make the choice
Joey gives very quick response to every argument like he is no longer thinking, and yet still manage to bring very strong arguments
It's because there are about 20-30 excuses for not going vegan, and once you've heard each one about 100 times it becomes very easy (if a little boring) to refute them.
Practice practice practice anything and it becomes second nature. He has enough experience now to filter straight through the objections and bullshit and then direct thoughts to where they are needed to plant seeds of change. He is also on fire now with people who try to (conciously or subconciously) deflect.
Even Joey will admit some of his previous questionable tactics. Even I sometimes cringe at what Joey says.
Ultimately he is MOTIVATED and out there giving it a go...with all failings and successes and fighting for his mission. And while he loses in some ways, he also wins a lot. And as such, so do some animals.
Because he gets paid in subs and donations to pretend to be vegan. Joey like all con artists do it for the money.

Great job once again, you always have the perfect responses!
I love the short, direct and honest answer to the question “why are you Vegan”
“Because I didn’t want to be an animal abusing hypocrite anymore”
My version of the answer is a little longer, but I think it’ll stick better with my Christian family who taught me and claim to follow the golden rule.
“Because I no longer wanted to be someone who said I believed in the golden rule, but in my actions turned my back to it almost every time I would eat a meal. I was by definition a hypocrite.”
Visiting some family tomorrow for the first time since being vegan and want to not stumble with my words, wish me luck!

Great work Joey. I enjoyed watching that
I own and train dogs, I love dogs but honestly if the opportunity presented itself to have some bbq chihuahua Id probably try it out. And yes I was a local only raw vegan many years back iin college...and nearly killed myself, I love meat and so does my dog. Even tried to make a previous dog vegan, it didnt go over so well. @OnTheSquare OnTheLevel Why???? 😂😂🤣 There are between 200 000 - 400 000 vegan & plant-based people in Sweden that has a population of 10 M and some of the most successful vegan companies are Swedish like Oatly for example. Animal products are on a steady decline and we have 4 political parties that have varying degrees of vegan leaning policies. Veganism fits quite well with the national, cultural and political identity of Sweden. You stand for ending animal exploitation, for the environment and you become healthier which equals a healthier society so I am just really curious why you would react like that?

So because dogs are cute and we've bred them into perfect little companions, is it not abuse to own them?

Does someone who loves you chop your balls off and trap you in a cage?
Dogs have the genetics of a wolf...
Imagine the number of behaviors we've prevented them from having by removing them from the wild...
Do you really think any number of walks could ever compare to the life of a wolf in the wild?
Can the same dry food everyday compare to a natural diet in the wolf pack?
We really need to think about how to change the perception of pet ownership as well...

Ariane if the “debate” was just animal cruelty as seen through the moral subjectivity lense of Joey carb strong then no but the real “debate” contains much more nuance. Do you just listen to 1 side of a debate that is the vast minority or do you listen to anyone with a different opinion that has actually formed one over a time period longer then 3 minutes
@@TheDuckSquash This is pretty simple, animal agriculture (at any scale) IS causing suffering. We have no need for meat or animal product to survive so there is nothing to debate. Buying animal products is paying for animal suffering and there is nothing to justify it, there is no other "nuance" that can ever counter balance it. We don't need it, so why ever supporting the horrors that come with it?
Ariane It’s probably that simple in your mind if you only listen to vegans. How long have you been vegan? You probably haven’t been vegan long enough to feel the negative health effects.
Joey was so fucking PUMPED! LIKE LITERALLY SPITTING RAW LAVA! 😂💥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🤯🤯
But besides that I think Joey does amazing work and I see him as one of the best animal rights activists out there (:

I had a dog, who was a different breed, but was loyal to me. Him and I would catch cleanskin bulls, he was my bull dog, but still my best mate.
