Marc Paille Vegans are not pro-extinction, but anti-exploitation. If a species exist for the sole purpose of being exploited, it’s better for such a species not to exist at all. Using the same logic, children born into slavery and human trafficking should be grateful because someone arranged and provided them with existence. With that said, it’s not naïve to assume that cows and pigs could be reintroduced to their natural habitats.

    • @alanraptor2569

Their existence is miserable and painful, it is the kinder thing to let them die out. Pigs and sheep, could probably be reintroduced to the wild in a managed way, and eventually re-find their place in the world through Darwinian selection, cows, maybe. Its a process we would have to help them through, possibly for centuries. But first and foremost, what we need to do is stop artificially breeding them on an industrial scale.

Hasn't convinced anyone that actually studies biology. We live in a world where there's a balance of carnivores, herbivores, and omnivores. If humanity was to go 100% vegan, then we'd need to worry if it's worth destroying the environment to make room for the crops and supplement production to feed humanity, or let millions of families die of starvation to make room and find a place to dump the bodies where they won't spread pollution and diseases. And at least humans go for a quick death and breed the animals we eat. When an animal does it, it's slow and painful, and it doesn't have the intelligence to realise if it destroys an ecosystem or not.

Vegans like to make comparisons that's all their arguments are based on. Eating a cow somehow ended up being compared to raping and killing a person. So like I said eating meat and utilizing the whole animal from pet products through to human food. Is the same as buying mass produced plants and deciding to eat the stems and leaves when possible. It is valid. You have no knowledge of how I was raised or what my beliefs are I'm merely pointing out a discrepancy

Most animals can even avoid natural disasters just by paying attention to their environment, humans can't do that at all unless they check their phones XD And also let's also point out how a lot of animals can learn human commands and do tasks for humans yet our dumbasses can't understand a single meow a woof nor can we adapt to live our lives their way.

14:50 - As more and more people avoid animal products, less animals will be bred using Artificial Insemination. This massively increases population of animals on farms, it's an abnormal amount of animals bred. As more and more people avoid animal products, a lot of animals will be rescued and live on sanctuaries. The sanctuaries will let animals have their own families at a natural rate which is far less rate then what farmers bred animals at. If there isn't enough room the sanctuaries will get more room, but at a certain point they will also think of ways to reduce the rate of sex, IF that becomes a problem. So animals aren't born in to a horrible situation, like on factory farms. One can predict this outcome and make choices, keep males and females separate for a while. Just to slow the rate. While I know some say that is removing the right to reproduce, if all animals starve to death then that isn't a positive outcome. It's easier with humans as we say have less children, but it's not so straight forward to communicate this with animals, but maybe in the future will have better ways to communicate with animals.

    being a vegan solves nothing
we make farms to feed people so we don't starve, and yes i support your message kinda you don't want animals to be tortured in some giant huge brick building living sad heartbreaking lives i hate that. that's fucking gross but i still wanna eat meat so i suggest for you to open a free range farm you see this is how it works. its like the farms you see in movies a range where animals roam free and wild as they want. but the eggs still get collected cows milked and pigs killed (when there old or lived a good life and had kids)so the animals still live a good life. and the people still get there food its not explotation nor abuse its just actual farming where animals live good lives and people still get food. and lets talk about being vegan, so first off people can lie and yea its not that really often people lie about being vegan but one time a dead fish was seen in a vegan video (i think i don't know if its true) and this is good proof that sometimes people lie about being vegan, now the other reason is vegans try to force there belifs on others, if you do this then you show that your not good at convincing and use guilt to persuade people to go vegan,i find this really fucking scummy but if you have some actual reasons then i'll listen like this guy he had his reasons and you had yours, now the third reason is people still abuse animals even tho there vegan, no matter if your vegan or meat eater people abuse animals and kill pets (im looking at you peta). and im glad that you didn't straight up guilt trip him you actually had reasons to back up your mindset.

Abel Abel that’s fairly bold of you to assume it is personally unnecessary for me to consume animal products. That fails to concern my dietary needs, and the environment in which I live in as not every environment is conducive for farming vegetables. Also, if we are all equal, why would we have differentiations in what some people are allowed to eat? Just seems like something else that can divide the world. And it’s fairly easy to make these broad based arguments that you are making. I eat animals so I am a murder. That same type of logic can be applied to everything. If you have any form of technology, you support child labour and modern forms of slavery as certain minerals for phones and computers are extracted by child labourers in appalling conditions in Africa. I could say you support sweat shops or other inhumane work areas, as I’m sure there’s furniture or clothing in your house that originated in areas where people are unnecessarily taken advantage of. If you’ve ever flown in an airplane, I could say that you are murdering the planet and do not care for the environment, as airplanes are horrible for your carbon footprint. There’s alternatives for all of these things. Sentient beings are affected by all of these practices. It’s weird to claim moral superiority over someone or deem their actions as unnecessary, when you’re still causing harm to sentient beings.
