The Boston Celtics have had one of the easiest roads to the NBA Finals in NBA Playoff history. However, they have dominated their opponents so far and are the favorites to win the NBA Finals and claim another NBA Championship. Despite a weak Eastern Conference and a Mickey Mouse road, the Celtics owe no one an apology for this.

The Celtics have made the ECF or Finals (2022) 4 of the last 6 years since JT was drafted. Every time, besides his rookie year, JT’s level of play significantly dipped from what we saw in the regular season, especially in crunch time. All of the greats elevate their game in the playoffs. Yes he’s 26, but I can’t think of many players his caliber who have had this much talent around them since entering the league and haven’t won a chip. Something within JT’s mentality in the playoffs is lacking. Not saying he’s trash, but also don’t think you can overlook his shortcomings in the postseason.

JT lead the team in scoring as a rookie , kyrie was hurt for what should have been a deeper run , he made the nba finals , if he doesn’t sprain his ankle first play of the game the heat don’t win game 7 last year , he has stood prime Greek freak in the face and won twice , even having the most points scored in game 7 history , he dusted the hell out of NETS KD on BOTH ENDS in a series , he has the most playoff points for any player his age in history , he had the #1 seed this year and is 8-2 so far in the playoffs , he has done this with 3 or 4 completely different rosters , and now y’all mention shortcomings and blaming him for having to play the Cavs and heat the first two rounds ☠️ . Tatum is a bad playoff performer is 🧢. And anybody who made the conf finals 4 outta 6 in any era BESIDES this one would be celebrated , y’all all grew up on socials and can’t dissect sports correctly 🤣.
@@bigbean55oh ya what about his non shortcomings though 50 in a game 7 on the road vs giannis 41 in game 7 vs embid. Swept kd and kyrie. Swept embid. Won game 7 ECF on the road in Miami. I'm a huge critic of his but his but this narrative is not what the media portrays. That narrative fits Booker 10x more than JT couple years ago Booker was getting same exact praise ant is getting now.

Celtics only struggled against teams with a bench full of bigs. That’s why the Celtics lucked out playing the cavs instead of the magic. Kristaps means so much for a title chance. Horford shouldn’t play so many minutes but his efficiency is through the roof

I think the bigger argument is that the Heat would've been on the opposite side of Boston and met in the conference finals again. Them being fully healthy would've wiped the floor with Boston is all I'll say.

I’m an admitted Celtics hater, but they beat whoever was in front of them. It sucks, but every year there are key injuries. You have to still go get the wins
