The 2024 NBA offseason has wasted no time getting started, with new rumors about Donovan Mitchell, Paul George, Mikal Bridges, Cleveland Cavaliers, Philadelphia 76ers, New York Knicks, and more!
#nba #nbaoffseason #thenba
To be fair there have been zero signs that Donovan wants to leave Cleveland, outside of media trying to force him to NY with BS speculation. Donovan’s seemed very happy with the Cavs this entire time
Yea but honestly this very much feels more like he’s saying the right things without denying him leaving than him saying he wants to be there
Lmao he’s not gonna say get me out of here. No star player year 3 and on is happy when eliminated in 1st/2nd round every year
He's not well liked in cleaveland is an issue
@@philmoe okay but what was the evidence he wanted out?
He wants to win a title and he isn't going to do that in Cleveland.
One sneaky little detail about the OG/Knicks situation is.... OG's agent just happens to be the son of Leon Rose, the current GM for the New York Knicks. My gut tells me that when they made the trade for him, they had reason to believe they'd be able to resign him. Yea they may have to overpay but I think they'll bite that bullet if they have to, because the fact is the addition of OG to the Knicks lineup absolutely took them up to the next level. Something like 26-5 with OG in the lineup. I'd argue they may have been the very best team IN THE LEAGUE when they had Randle and OG both healthy and playing for that brief stretch in the 2nd half of the season.
They didn't even really get a good taste of what their full lineup looks like. Either Randle was hurt, or OG was hurt, or both. Yea Mikal Bridges is intriguing, but I genuinely think the Knicks should run it back as constructed, maybe just adding some bench depth. I wanna see what the Knicks look like if both Julius Randle and OG stay healthy for a playoff run.
A real fan! Knicks should run it back but Hartesteain and Enough by are going to be offered big money. O is only 26, shi he needs 1 big contract you know? Guys in their 30's have usually been overplayed already so are willing to ",take less money" also...who is agent is doesn't matter when the offeres come in!
The Cavs might not lose Mitchell, but they are losing two of Mitchell, Garland, Mobley, Allen. Only two will stay after this offseason, so Cavs for sure are making big changes
I'm hoping we trust the process and keep Garland and Mobley. Okoro has consistently gotten better offensively and could defend the best opposing guard. Trade Mitchel and Allen for another cheap center and a good 3 and D wing with picks and Bench players. Resign Mobley and Garland to extensions and wait for the chip
Us Knick fans don’t want Donovan Mitchell
deadass
You guys are a cursed, horrible franchise. So this tracks
Speak for yourself
Knicks don’t want Mitchell. Two shrimps in the backcourt won’t make it.
Yes we do, your in the minority
Knicks have to maintain OG when healthy they were superb defensively
you know ball
OG is managed by Leon’s son. He’s not leaving the Knicks bro…
If OG wants to leave, his agent, Leon’s son, ain’t stopping him
@@JayWalk23if u think he wants to leave then u didn't follow the team and the player very much
If a team offers more money, his agent makes more money. It's not that hard to understand lol! Trams like Philly will offer hige deals so NY had to match which will weaken NY
If the clippers trade Paul George to the 76ers it’s a W for them they’ll not only get draft capital in return but they’ll also get a 40M+ trade exception
Why would the sixers trade for him when they can sign him as a FA?
@@Schi8694sign and trade
why tf would the Sixers give up assets for someone they can just sign outright? makes zero sense
don't even start on the Bird Rights; PG is not gonna risk a big contract over a 10m difference over 4 years in the hopes that the Clippers give him the ABSOLUTE MAX just to sign-and-trade him away
He’s a free agent & sixers got money. What are u talking about
@@fpl_djhammerclippers got bird rights
The Knicks aren't keeping Hartenstein. He played himself outta their price range. Other teams saw the playoffs and will be able to pay more than what the Knicks could pay him even if they wanted to
He said he'd resign with us for more or less the same amount of money, no doubt he deserves more and we should offer it, just depends what another team with even more can tempt him with
There's only a few teams that can offer him more money and they won't. Of its the Hornets, why would he want to play there? Of its OKC why would they want to spend that kind of money on him?
Yeah but why would you offer hartenstein a big deal. Only reason he was getting all those numbers and playing time is because the Knicks were crippled. Do we really think he is that guy?
@@jj47k.OKC would absolutely sign him their biggest problem is that Chet is underweight and prone to get pushed around and killed on the boards
@@taxationistheft7 During the time around the Allstar break, Mitchell Robinson was available again and was still benched for an amazingly well perfoming I. Hartenstein. He is great at rebounding his floater game in the paint is elite and he's a relativly good passer for a center. So yeah he is that guy
Wild to me that people think you speak fast, I just listen and vibe.
Donovan Mitchell can play point guard as well as Dame can. Both have always been high usage players that DO NOT impact the game unless they have the ball in their hands.
So just like Brunson.
Thought this video was in 2x speed at the start 😭
same lmao
Bro is on x2 by default.
Man was smooving
@@MyiicI pray I never get to the point where I got 2x speed on by default 🤣

Lakers fans be talking about landing anybody with a pulse worth an NBA contract so spots like ESPN gonna pump up that 'this guy gonna move that guy gonna move' I for one will be glad when LeBron retires so we can stop this nonsense
Three stars are highly possible on certain teams. It just doesn't guarantee a second round/semi-final spot anymore. 3 stars and a few G league caliber players are their only option... So, definitely, no more super teams. Boston got me 🥱 to death.
Mitchell basically ran the point for quite a bit of the time when the Cavs had their best run of the season during the 18-2 stretch and seemed fairly comfortable doing so
Given how night and day the Knicks were with OG vs without him, they will match whatever is offered to him on the market. He elevates their ceiling from playoff contender to championship contender. They're not letting him walk, especially given the fact they paid two young rotation pieces for him.
Houston is a team that is deemed to be star chasing. Who do you think would be a good fit? They have Paul George and Donovan Mitchell under their radar.
Thank you for the Celtics pacers game 2 breakdown. What I’ve been waiting for

Bronny Jr, Bron and Delonte West playing together in LA, first time ever, son, dad and grandad trio in 1 team. 3 Generations!
Hahaha you are so funny you are on your way.🙄😊
@@dwaynedaniels5100 I wasnt being funny at all, ask Gloria James West
Assembling a super team by bringing in two stars to join your star has really only worked twice in history.
The two Bron got in MIA and then 08 with BOS. Every other attempt has failed.
GSW was bringing in one superstar to a title team so that's different, that's almost always going to work.
The winning formula is to develop a young star and role players around him, and then if need be bring in an all star caliber player that fits with your main guy
Haven't seen you this excited about a video! Lol! Anyway mitchell walking away from a $200m extension would be wild.
Ppl really think NBA players care about chips more than the money. Ain't no way
He’ll get over 150m regardless
It's honestly often the smaller moves that can make a big difference. For instance, it seems like Kevin Huerter is on the outs in Sacramento but he's still a very good player and would be a terrific addition to a championship contender that could push them over the top - ala Bruce Brown and Jeff Green last season with the Nuggies. Yes big stars have to be part of it, but the role players and bench are just as important.
From this point on im clicking off anytime people start talking about "whats lebron going to..". You can say lebum but im done watching NBA videos of him. Maybe we can make people get the picture. Go home lebron!
Ok.
No one talks more about lebron than people who don't like lebron.
Tucker doesn't talk that fast when an individual is used to listening to Jesse on Fire. Two of my favorite UA-camrs. Top 5 for sure
I get why Cleveland did it but I still can’t understand why they would. Wing depth not guards
Situations like this make me think I don’t understand basketball. Even tho Mitchell is undersized there aren’t that many 2s in the league you have to worry about. All they have to do is run more set plays for Mitch to get the ball out of his hands so much. Mitch has to play d and let garland play point . SMH it feels like they have all the pieces but are gonna blow it up anyway. And like you said find a good quality 3
Missing the overly self aware Tucker from last month 😂😂
It was a riot!
goddamn bro i'm boutta change this watch speed to .50x calm the fuck down💀😂
If Knicks keep OG and add Mikal Bridges, they just need to add 1 big man to support Mitchell robinson (assuming we lose Hartenstein) and they win a title at full health.
True
Problem is they will never be in full health not with Tibs coach crippled Rose Noah and Deng
Cavs should call magic about Jalen Suggs pairing with Mitchell , a Suggs and pick , for garland would be a win win and good fit for both teams
You played all Nets highlights while talking about the Knicks.
Thank you for understanding basketball. Shout out everyone else who does 💯
Stylistically, the Pels and Cavs make good trade partners. In my opinion, KD, Lauri, or Mikhal are much better fits for the Knicks than Randle. If the Knicks make a big splash, while resigning Hartenstein and OG; they'll become immediate contenders.
I’m sick of commenting this anytime you talk clippers. PG will not leave in the off-season unless the owner doesn’t want to resign him. PG wants to be in LA to be close to family, he doesn’t care about rings. Why would he consider going to Philly?
It hasn't worked in LA. Sure, he gets paid, but now it's about his legacy. He wants a ring. Don't be surprised if he opts out and walks.
@@danlower7834don’t be surprised if what you view as legacy isn’t important enough to change what these players like and are use to where they are now. This isn’t a 2k simulator
dg n allen for bridges n cam, u build allen, dg n cam thomas for the nets, the cavs get a new pg n then run dmitch, bridges, cam n mobley at the 5
I never knew how good Darius was until recently!! He’s a starting point guard on a contender!!
would like to J. Allen or Hartenstein in OKC.
Trae or Spida in Miami.
Bridges would be such a good fit on the Knicks but I don't see how they get him - not only were the Nets turning down 4 FRP for him at the deadline and he was completely untouchable (though things change) but i feel like other teams could just put together better offers for him than NY.
As a Sixers Fan, I don't want any part of Paul George's Injury-prone, playoff choking, almost cooked carcass.
The fit of Paul George in San Antonio though. The Spurs could send the salary (Graham, Sochan, etc.) and Atlanta's pix back to get Trae to the Clippers. If SA got Topic or Sheppard at 4, they might pull something like this irl. I think Trae and the #8 and the #35 is plenty for a 15th season George.
LAC can get up deep into the 1st using that #35 and get somebody for fit to go/grow along with the #8 guy (Buzelis? Holland? Knecht? Cody Williams?)
As a pacers fan I’m sad 😔
I mean at least yall made the Ecf
Good
Why, Pacers have a very bright future ahead of them. Especially if Siakem resigns. Still have Jerace Walker to get some burn next season.
You should be sad playing injured teams an all that. The team is still very good tho
@@cleanfresh6718pretty much every playoff team in the east has some fairly significant injuries/ hobbled players. This narrative is incredibly weak and everyone sees through it. The Knicks in particular have a lot of injury problems based on the way Thibs runs his players. Don’t be shocked when this same injury situation will be a talking point next postseason for the Knicks.
If they lose Allen they won’t be a serious team at all. Mobley too soft for the 5. Embiid/Giannis/physicals Knicks please.
...why would the Knicks give up Quickley an R.J. to just have a rental with O.G.? Doesn't make a lot of sense. Maybe if you get P.G. you let him walk but outside of that I don't see it.
With the record the Knicks have with Anunoby on the floor, they would be foolish not to do anything to keep him.
Bro has been spewing nonsense for a year and a half.
Mitchell is staying and all signs have pointed to him staying.
Bridges to the Knicks would be a cute story, but NY has nothing to offer compared to other teams.
Golden State should want Jared ...They need that defense and rebounding..
what would the offer?
Trayce and Wiggins
We, the Pistons, would relieve them of Jarrett Allen any day. We would be interested in any good player, actually. LOL
So you cant force Mobley to be a 4 but you can force Mitchell to be a 1 😒
Situations like this make me think I don’t understand basketball. Even tho Mitchell is undersized there aren’t that many 2s in the league you have to worry about. SMH it feels like they have all the pieces but are gonna blow it up anyway. All they really have to do is find a quality 3 and figure out the mobly Allen situation
Go after Jonathan Issac
@@Jamar-lg9ob that would be great for them. I also had a cavs fan tell me it was just the coaching. But it seems to be a lot of friction behind the scenes
@@t-god2439 facts it was more than coaching
@@Jamar-lg9ob on paper tho this team should be a lot better than what it is imo garland has the potential to be a top 5-6 guard in this league. Mitchel is probably a top 5 2 guard. Evan is devolving nicely. They have Allen who is a good center and they have shooting off the bench so 🤷
The Super Team Era has died down is simply because Franchises think just because you have 3 Superstars or Stars you’re going to win but it’s a lot more to it
It’s like do these guys fit well together and are they willing to sacrifice for the betterment of the team and 100% of the times since KD Warriors the answer is No
"Sources say..."
Doesn't the offseason basically start as soon as the tradeline is over for some teams?
I'd love to have Garland on the Warriors
Garland to my spurs 🔥🔥.
Did you say they didn't give up a ton for OG? IQ, Barrett. For 32 games with the Knicks. That's a lot.
If Donovan Mitchell does stay and the Nets are interested in Darius Garland, I wonder if they would do a three team trade including the Knicks while trading Mikal Bridges.
Do we really think Darius Garland can be the lead guard on a team that wants to take a deep run in the playoffs??
😬😬
PGs move just does not make any sense. Why leave a situation where your biggest problem is that the no1 option is never available to another place with the exact same problem? When he wants to be living on LA.
PG leaving only makes sense if he knows he is going to have a better chance at a championship or if the Clippers finally decide to blow it up.
Everyone saying Mitchel is out because he wants to win. Where is the better basketball situation for him? Because the teams who seem yo want him are the Lakers and the Nets. Nets are wose than Cleveland and in LA he is the third option on an aging team who are gaurenteed to fall apart and have no assets in two years.
Philly is also interested in bron lol personally i wouldn't bring in any big contract guys who are 30+ years old. Focus young depth
Nets can have Randle. Stop making Randle a super star. Just a good player that has his moods not what the knicks need
I have to disagree. We've already seen ceiling of Donovan Mitchell and a defensive center in Jazz.
Exactly. Mitchell is becoming James Harden
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812He is not on Harden level. Not close Harden was leading the league in scoring and assists at that age.
Trade garland for mikal, trade Allen for Dort and picks, sign lebron and draft bronny.
Trae young is upset his team hadn’t been able to trade for a star that could carry him outside the playin. He’s also publicly been shamed with teams saying they prefer DJ and the Spurs showing zero interest after Trae begged to be traded there
I DONT WANT TO TRADE DARIUS. TRADE MITCHELL 😤😤😤 Bring in D'antoni so he can unlock the Nash/Cp3 that he so very CLEARLY has in his game, and trade Allen for Ingram and Mitchell for a floor spacer next to Mobley.
Smh…..🤦. Outside of Allen for Ingram you’re insane.
@@Joesteroven How? It's very obvious Mitchell has slowed Darius's development. He needs to be allowed to facilitate the offense, and D'antoni would allow him to do that and more.
If Darius is really as good as you and I think he is. He should be able to figure it out. I honestly don’t know why they can’t play together. Mitch needs to understand with a guard like Darius he doesn’t need the ball in his hands all the time. Just run for set plays, cut, set screens. And most importantly Mitch needs to defend at the level of his potential. All I think the cavs really need is a quality 3 and figure out the mobley Allen situation
@@t-god2439 cause jb is a shitty coach and had a shitty offensive scheme
@@itsgl00my88 okay so I’m not crazy thinking that these two can play and win togather. Like if Kyrie and lukia can figure it out. Then I think any backcourt should be able to figure it out. Well minus the hawks 🤣
Garland to the Spurs could be nice.
Yup, I think there or the Magic would be a good fit for Garland.
The Nets would never trade with the knicks!! I rather trade Bridges to Houston or hawks and get draft for him in my opinions
Knicks need to trade . MoveDante or Randle for a goddamn center
Lol if I’m the Cavs, I’m laughing at Darius trade request and then telling him to suite up and get ready to play. He just signed that massive rookie extension, your not getting moved this year.
My Sixers moves would be trade for Mikal Bridges and Alex Caruso, sign Andre Drummond
The one team not mentioned is OKC. They have space, Giddy, a troth of draft picks. That is very real possibility of Allen and/or Garland going to OKC...
Allen would be good, we don’t need Garland
Okc not trading for either, also Jarret is constantly consider for okc
Rockets need to call Brooklyn for mikal they have young players and picks top 3 this year
I want pg to stay on the clips but pg to the hawks to pair up wit Murray and Trae would be tuff
If I’m the suns I trade KD for garland and Allen and throw in three second round picks and maybe Royce O’Neal
Nah he don't wanna be in Cleveland. It's Cleveland. At least Utah has the snowy mountains 😐
I hope Trae stays in Atlanta but their team needs to be built defensively with a star forward rather than 2 star point guards
Donavan Mitchell at the point will be the biggest mistake Cleveland make! He’s not a true PG. he’s a shorter D-Wade like 2-guard all star. Not a superstar like Steph, Giannis, Luka, Lebron etc.
Why didn’t you bring up mikal for the sixers?
Cant logically say there’s been a sign he wants to leave he’s only been a professional and only has had good things to say about Cleveland, as a twolves bucks fan would’ve been extremely grateful to have this dude on the team at any point on the court or off the court. But agree with some other comments not a single thing Mitchell has done to make it clear even slightly unhappy in Cleveland clearly the media pushing it … probably want him in New York, La or Miami
76ers would be morons to spend all they cap space on pg13. Knicks just beat you depth and toughness you go star hunting
Donovan Mitchell best fit in Spurs, Philadelphia, Knicks, Magic or Brooklyn 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Bridges to get traded to the Sixers. The Knicks are keeping OG.
I think signing Mitchell and trading garland and Allen is the right move.
Remember this Mitchell will ask out in 2 years because cavs are a average team not a championship contender.
Trade Randle for bridges rather keep OG than Randle
Bro did you purposely not do a NY off-season video? Was waiting for it… lotta meat on the bone.
Just had other videos I was doing when the lost, I’ll get to them at some point after the Finals for sure
@@SportingLogically take your time… just saying your vid was one of the only things I was looking forward to as a Knicks fan 😂
The intro made me angry a lot, using kind words. The whole purpose of the trades is making good postseason run. And when the current run entered semi-final stage, Tuck just talks some gossip. I hate this attitude: always looking for the next thing, but when the next thing actually arrives, ignoring ot and looking for the next next thing. Not being able to enjoy the moment, just livin fantasy future.
Ive been saying Allen needs to get traded so Mobley can flurish more

No one cares about the Celtics series because its obvious that they are going to win. It will only be interesting when they play dallas/min.
Philly can also trade Jimmy Butler right into their open cap space without sending any players in return. Who says no to this? Three 1sts for Jimmy Butler. I think both Philly and Miami are happy there.
3 FRP for a 35 year old who can’t stay healthy anymore (or shoot 3s) is ridiculous
@@kaysheye77841) Darrell Moorey doesn’t care about picks. 2) Philly needs to get someone for Embiid to play with (I don’t see PG happening). 3) Philly is loaded with draft capital over the next several years. 4) You have to remember teams can put protections on their draft picks. 5) The NBA AAA whole doesn’t value picks much anymore. 6) Wemby is most likely the best draft pick of this generation and even he could only muster 20 wins his first year (again Philly needs to win now, a rookie doesn’t help them accomplish that).
Give me one sign donovan wants to leave he hasn't looked mad or frustrated everytime it gets brought up he shuts it down. Also side note I love darius I think him leaving depending on the package could actually be beneficial for him and us.
True but Cleveland isn't going to make the finals even if DM stays. That's why it highly possible he might see what's put there
Its really not that hard to read between the lines man, Clevelands current situation is the same one he demanded out of in Utah...
@detroitsin5250 but it's not we have significantly more talent then utah did. It was Rudy who at the time idc what people say now nobody thought that dude was this good despite winning those dpoy awards. I saw weekly videos of youtubers trying to claim those were fraudulent. And then donny himself. Cavs have draft picks now and dpoy caliber big in Mobley and then Jarret whose very good but extremely soft but that's more of a preference thing. Our bench is what utah had starting dude. That's not a sign or a clue donovan wanted out btw I couldn't easily just shut you down with that to start but that's no fun. And garland whose besides one year has been good and gotten better every year who at worst is a great trade asset.
You don't have more talent than the Jazz did, because Rudy Gobert continues to prove his value while Spida Mitchell continues to be a headache to build around. Rudys numbers speak for themselves, while Mitchells numbers say hes an undersized inefficient scoring guard who can't really playmake or make his teammates better while also not playing defense since college.
You don't even have 1 reliable wing with decent size on your roster, and you expect to be real contenders in a league dominated by do it all wings. You are nowhere close to where you think you are as a team.
As a Celtics fan this season is so underwhelming like i hope we win but i dont feel like its too likely
