I had good experiences purchasing through TPC, including 1 road bike. I would be glad to see them come back as I believe that there is a place in the market for a company that can effectively bridge the new/used markets.
I went to their site and purchased a 2020 Trek Domane etap axs project 1 in September for my birthday.... days after I got it, they were kaput. The bike was a bit ragged out, but I've replaced parts and made it mine and love it. I got $1800 off for the Labor Day sale and after I communicated with them about the issues with the isospeed, they gave me back $500. This whole story has been a revelation for me, I used to work in a Specialized shop in Savannah and saw how TPC was filling a crucial gap. Then came the great unwind. I hope their reboot is successful.
We're still riding the saturated used market of the post pandemic boom, add end of season for most of north America and it's an excellent time to buy. Timing is everything, if they are wise and lean about their moves they can succeed for sure...
The Pro's Closet was indifferent and would pay very little for bikes only to overprice. Their head swelled built a Taj Mahal and it all came crashing down!
I think so. The page is still up: selltrade.theproscloset.com/?_gl=1*11unhcy*_gcl_au*NTYwOTc3NjQuMTcyNTQ2MDYzMg..*_ga*NzMxMTk4MzU0LjE2NzM5OTE4MTk.*_ga_RC0VSPN9Z6*MTczMTY3NzMzOS4yMC4wLjE3MzE2NzczMzkuNjAuMC4w

I’m just looking for a quality used road bike with endurance geometry frame (58 cm)and Ultegra components and compact crank for under $4K.
