I’m fully expecting a Skinwalker-esque killer, it can probably change to some extent, BUT in a way that you can tell it’s not a Survivor. Or it is good at mimicking in an off putting way, ultimately being a killer that hits the Uncanny Valley

swf would counter too much, maybe an ability that obliges survs to waste time, like, fake progress on generators that become more visible the longer the action is going on, maybe like at the star of an action theres nothing different, but the longer the action is going on the more scribbles appears near the the surv, maybe another clense or interact killer ps. maybe the hooks have a special passive that will nerf survs during the trial

Maybe even have a way to drop a pallet or something as the survivor to get rid of strong pallets which could be very busted but they could do a lot.
What I’m thinking is the killer name could be the reke he can transform as one of the survivors when one of them dies or he can just transform anyways who knows and he can like run and crouch like normal survivor and the others has to find out which one is the killer like the head can be shaken making noise or something and like he can transform and just hunt them down like that’s my idea so far 😅
I always find it funny when youtubers say "some people think this" soooo did people actually come to you and say that they think the killer is gonna be this or the survivor is gonna be this? ...and did they all unanimously say the same thing hence the "some people"? Makes me laugh every time. Who are these people?

I think it is 1 of the body parts of the next killer. We could expect more teasers in the upcoming days, and maybe the pictures slowly reveal the new killer. So the next teaser could be hands and eventually the head. We possibly connect them to see what the killer looks like. Its a bit of a stretch but, thats theory.
they won't be able to do a Wendigo or Skinwalker without suffering a massive twitter breakdown. the Rake seems like the safest option, though if it is a shapeshifter then "the Shapeshifter" "the Changeling" or "the Doppelganger" could all work

How so? Hag is short and has a trapping ability. Folklore Vendigo is an enormous creature with horns. In case of Hannah from Until Dawn, she is like 2 metres tall with long legs and arms, she can walk on walls and ceilings and would surely have an ultimate hearing ability.
I'm gonna shut down Wendigo and Skinwalker, right now. BHVR wouldn't use those names because even though they're popular in the online spheres, it's still attached to indigenous myths/beliefs and it could be seen as a serious faux pas. Skinwalkers especially since the real equivalency isn't like the things people think of when they hear it - rather think of it like a dark shaman, a medicine man twisted by the temptations of dark magic, who use said magic to curse people and shapeshift into animals. I expect potential names to be like... "The Myth" "The Mimic" "The Fleshgait" "The Cryptid" "The Metamorph" and many more options. I doubt names like Rake will be used because of its connection to existing properties - even though the character itself is open source it still could have potential legal issues with IP's using the same name/character.

From my point of view, the drawing is actually a hole on top of a cavern. Remember the lore of the watchers saying rhey were trapped in a cave of some sort and were trying to go home ? I believe that the person is drawing the place where the three ww1 soldiers were trapped.
i hope it's a Thing type creature, but most importantly I REALLY hope they introduce some fun perks again that the otherside won't ruin, be it killer or survivor, but especially survivor, I feel like there are no fun perks anymore since they deleted made for this. Switched to playing mainly killer after that nerf. Like really? 3%? bruh, haste stacking is the problem, made for this never was. Atleast my killer games, I just waited it out, and as a sadako main I should've probably felt it the most yet I didn't.

I think either the unnamed female and Ryan are the most likely candidates for the survivors. The unnamed female was in an inescapable situation where the entity could’ve taken her and the rake(because they were in close proximity), and Ryan already encountered the shifter before and successfully escaped, but it seems as if they are connected, or at the very least like things between them are unfished.
Would love a mimic original killer I feel like it would be hard to make work well but I'm excited Though that makes the chance of ever seeing The Tethered in the game all meaningless

Isn’t there a diner or motel sign broken next to the road just outside of the Garden of Joy map? I always thought that was odd, but it might tie into this chapter.
So new killer.. survivers get nerfed... and the killers get more cocky... and the community spirals down into another hole of getting butt hurt over the same old DEAD BY DAYLIGHT. I was done when healing got nerfed. This game is now just a big meme sesh pool and im having fun NOT playing it in 2024😒 and yes I'm being negative. I play both and I'm not really pleased.
Ryan could be the new survivor. He's similar to vitorio on how much he was drawing things and became obsessed with it similar to most of dbds original character stories. Becoming obsessed with ones art or ideas and having the fog take them almost out of need for believers. I agree that it will be apart of the garden of joy realm the motel sign on goj will likely be similar to the diner sign that's been hinted may be in the Forrest like setting. I'm sure that the main building will be diner and the area near shack will be the forest. I imagine it to be like one of there more liked maps such as DDS that already has a layout that could hold a diner and shack and other features if the diner were only building

Firstly I think the drawing looks like a torso that has been twisted into a grotesque shape…it’s not to scale but then again if our boy saw this thing and it’s the same thing that the first teaser person saw we can’t forget that the narrator described its body as “twisted” so that the legs weren’t facing the correct way. Ok personally…I don’t think it’s a shape shifter, it’s been seen to wear voices not skin; that’s a trait famously of the Not Deer, rather than that of a skin Walker. I WILL say it’s likely the developers own personal take on the legend of the Not Deer, sort of like how Dredge was their original take on the “Boogyman” or the “Babadook” like some leaks compared the dredge to prior to reveal. So I expect it could be a creature inspired off the tales of the Indigenous people…HOWEVER we can’t forget the leakers claiming it’s an alien entity known as the “watchers” who can hijack peoples bodies akin to the mind Flayer from DND. So I have a theory New killer is a wendigo the 2 creatures in the first teaser is ashley and the creature wendigos can mimic voices and if we listen to the sound byte of the person again he says ashley who was the first person in the teaser ashley and Tyler it sounded male so therefor it killed Tyler took his voice and is using it as a lure for others So in short it's killing people using there previous victims voice to lure it out with the I need help and I need you maybe being the neighbors The drawing is the back of the wendigo The voice recordings is it cycling through victim's trying to find which one sound the best (or it's trying everything to lure this person) And finally it's taking people which is what wendigos do to preserve there food The buzzing sound could just be the recording being wonky

Always wanted a shapeshifting killer in the game since years. It will just make everyone paranoid not knowing if there another survivor or not. They could be acting like there doing gens when wanted. But if it's a group of friends then that won't work to well. Or maybe even a possessing killer who takes over a survivor and controls them that be pretty neat to. Be like you're spectating yourself without any control over you're character while the killer is in control. Only time will tell.

Always wanted a shapeshifting killer in the game since years. It will just make everyone paranoid not knowing if there another survivor or not. They could be acting like there doing gens when wanted. But if it's a group of friends then that won't work to well. Or maybe even a possessing killer who takes over a survivor and controls them that be pretty neat to. Be like you're spectating yourself without any control over you're character while the killer is in control. Only time will tell.
