Thank you for these awesome videos! It feels like nobody shares this important information. Everyone just has videos that say I made a ton of money blogging, which isn't helpful at all! You are producing amazing content. Please keep making more videos like these 🙂
Aw yay, thank you so much for this feedback. Honestly, this is why I love making videos & sharing. We need more transparency in the online business space, and I hope to encourage more of it 🥳🥳
I actually get better results when I request indexing a second time. For example I published an article 4 months ago. It got indexed, but google wasn't coming back to the article to recrawl it. So I requested indexing even though it already been indexed. The next morning the article showed up on the first page of google. It wasn't ranking before then until I asked google to recrawl it. So yeah, don't be afraid to request indexing again. Kinda suck though that your only limited to 10 requests per day.
Yepppppp, it’s odd that we have to do that but I’m getting better results doing that too; resubmitting after a week or so. Google is a true pain in the A sometimes 😂😂😂 Thanks so much for commenting ✨
I keep getting "No referring sitemaps detected" when I check if my site is indexed. But I did submit the sitemap and it shows up for other pages on my site - just not the main page.
Is if there is a way to index your website without allowing google to collect any type analytics from your website visitors (prevent the use of cookies to extract visitor data)? I am trying to find this information online. Any help would be appreciated.
The only information I found regarding this is “Because Google Search Console does not require the setting of cookies or the use of other tracking technologies, it offers website operators the opportunity to market themselves and their website in a privacy-compliant manner.” - not sure if that’s what you’re looking for. Other than that, I don’t have a clue if I’m being honest. I know Google Analytics is brutal when it comes to this stuff. Google Search Console on the other hand, I’m less aware of.
@@MariahMagazine Thanks I appreciate the response. I just wanted to know because I am writing my privacy policy and I have to disclose if the indexing actually collects visitor data. I am also planning to block IPs of the UK and EU from accessing my website because of GDPR. I'm not doing any sort of analytics, just indexing.
It could be indexed but showing up on page 8, for example. Being indexed doesn’t mean it’s on page 1, it just means its in Google filing cabinet. So I would check your performance data in Google search console & see which position your page is being listed. Then with that information you can implement an SEO strategy to improve rankings!
Hello, if it shows in Google Console that the page has been indexed and the URL is on Google, but when you type in "site: plus your url and its not showing up does that mean that your website is not showing up in search?
Hypothetically, I would say yes, bc the “site:your primary domain.com” should pull your site up. I’ve never had a client with that issue so I’m not sure what the issue could be without looking into the specifics of everything, if I’m being honest.

Hi, Mariah...nice video..can you make a content about how to identify is there any technical issue by reading crawling stat graph and numbers?
Thank you for the video idea! I’ll at it to my brainstorming list ✨

Hmmmm unfortunately it’s hard to say without me seeing things. Google errors can be annoying and a lot are based on context so it’s hard to say.

if I have 200 pages, do I have to check and request manually every page ?
is not there any other solution?
Nope! Submitting your sitemap should take care of a lot. Inspecting each page is usually done on a priority basis.
What if the site is index (and confirmed by the 'site:' feature), but still does not show up in SERPs?
What could this mean? Thanks.
