And all the money you saved could be used to finally fullfill those childhood dreams, especially these days when we can fly to space with Elon Musk. But if you spend all that money on this used hot hatch you will never get to space. Didnt we all want to become astronauts as kids. Well nows the chance. Why waste such opportunity on some used hot hatch which probably hasnt been looked after and has had couple of accident cause they are after all hot hatches. You could be in space. Would love to see future vid of Lexus NX300H 😍😀 not too old model 2nd hand in UK is still £18-20smth K usually with high mileage close to 100k miles. Not sure how long it will take to recoup in fuel savings.
😵💫Like solar panel used to take 6-7 ish yrs and now less and less 4-5 yrs.
If you opt-out the need for a validation, status and overpowered, overengineered cars, you really only need a Toyota.
But since cars nowadays are more than just cars, people break their bank for that new Mercedes, full of technology, design elements and features one will never need.
At the end of a day, I'm accused of having an expensive car taste too; if it makes you happy, go for it. At the end, everybody has their own hobby or a type of life they want to live.
You included two of my go to cars l would buy a Suzuki and the Lexus l would never buy them the main thing is they both are reliable
Gonna have to fire back on Hyundai reliability. The Kona N isn't proving to be very reliable. In fact most Hyundai's start to fall apart after 40K at the moment.
I would love a 78 series but haven't won the lotto. If I wanted a ute, I would get a Triton or F150 but not the one in the background, it has been there since Captain Cook hit the reef.
hang on there chief...You can't afford a 78 troopy because of a lack of lotto winnings but you can afford to buy and run an F150 if you wanted a ute? I'd look into that more.
@@Saphire0437 Could not afford to run the F150. I like them but that is all and no where did I say I wanted that F150.
Hello I know it is unrelated to this video. But is it possible you can do a review on a used Lexus IS 350 F sport (2011-2012)😁😊
*Sorry I had to edit the year*
Thank you!
So tell me something. In a crash, can this carbon fibre chassis be repaired? As it can't be welded like steel and aluminium.
Which carbon fibre chassis mate? - AK
@@ReDriven Lol. Comment on the wrong video. I saw a video about a Lamborghini with this carbon fibre tub. I read somewhere that it can't be repaired in a crash.
My bad. Carry on. 😬
The Navara is Gutless, while towing a load of 3kn the navara takes 30 seconds to get to 90km/hr and couldnt reach 100..
Didnt Nissan Navara have frame issues?

Any chance of looking at the Holden Volt?

I have a 2021 Swift Sport that I'm happy to share for a review

Love the channel mate… but this has got to be sattire 😂
Why's that mate? - AK
@@ReDriven navara as a replacement for a hilux… reliability of those is questionable at best. Better replacement would be triton. Patrol as a replacement for G63.. good performer but the interior has been the same in australia for a decade!
@@salpal20 the patrol interior is why he mentioned the Infiniti.
Civic Type R please, GR Corolla, Supra et. al
Great channel, love the content. Like to see a review of cars under 20k that I can buy to tow my 2T caravan out mild bush.
Go for the full bush, not mild.
NEVER EVER BUY
A HYuNDA!
Being unable to get your hands on a hot hatch and the recommended alternative being a "hot" Mini-SUV represents everything that's wrong with motoring today.
The Swift isn't a mini SUV. It is a proper old school hatch.
Nissan Patrol 🔥🔥🔥🔥
$500k for a G63 is crazy. Surely a Bentley Bentayga is cheaper than that?
I'm curious to your point of view on the *Jeep Gladiator?* Despite being ranked last on consumer reports and the worst midsize truck according to Kelly Blue Book, it still has its off road capabilities and rigidness for various uses. I'd admit any version other than the Rubicon or Overland look silly with the normal alloy rims and bland design the sport or sport S offer. 🤔
I cannot confirm or deny that a Jeep shoot I was hired to drive for may possibly have had the Gladiator toast it's power steering within the first 5 minutes of filming on a beach. And it was a press car, that should have been about the very best Gladiator they could provide.
It's only one example I know but even some light digging online will raise many concerns.
Still, they look super cool. - AK
@@ReDriven That is a damn shame. Really need something to come in and challenge the 70 series monopoly on reliable rugged offroad trucks. The prices are high because there is nothing quite like them. A reliable Gladiator with maybe 300 more kg payload and a badge that doesn't say Jeep, could really light a fire under the pants of 70 series prices.
@@ReDriveni loathe jeep quality with a passion but the Wrangler/gladiator has a pretty stoutish reputation here in the U.S. and we're really fussy about quality when it comes to truck-like or offroad rigs. That said, yes, when in doubt, never ever buy a Jeep product or Fiat of course. Main problem here is the prices dn't make sense, including used just aren't worth it any longer, like they once were long ago. (and that's realy saying something negative here in the U.S. bcuz we have about 20% of the variety you have in terms of 4.4 Suv's, etc.
Let's just admit that every vw sold has average at best reliability not only some
Sorry hot Suv is that an oxymoron its like going for a run in gumboots love your videos by the way.

Was last there 10 years ago, Khuplu near Skardu is my favourite. Will celebrate on the 23rd.
I was led to believe that Nissan only produced turkeys
Nissan Patrol vs G63 AMG…. 🤣🤣🤣
what can a G63 do that a twin locked/lifted/harrop supercharged Y62 can't?
Instead of the Nav, the Triton or DMax are significantly better. The Nissan just isn’t as good, and massively overpriced when comparing spec sheets
You don’t want to review a 200 series?
Dean yes we do but we might have lined up already, but, are you offering? - AK
@@ReDriven you can do a review on my chopped 200 series landcruiser. Maybe from the perspective of the dual cab conversions. I’m in south east QLD.
Fiesta ST: looks like a hot hatch.
Swift Sport: looks like a blocky turd you had to really push out after a big night on the turps.
fun to drive turd tho...
You will have to explain to every non car person that the ST is something special. At least the swift sport looks sporty.
😆 True. Maybe better avoiding the yellow.
You wanna review a Daihatsu Hijet? Hahahha
G63=YES
Even for $300,000 more?? - AK
@@ReDriven YES=money is of no object.
@@ReDriven .…If I had the money and I had to buy a new car, I would not buy an alternative, especially not a Nissan. I had a Murano, it was ok. It kind of looked nice-ish had great seats and was fully loaded with 2.5 dci engine. But compared to a German SUV, it is no match. Totally different concept. My father had a Puch G the one from the late 90s, and it was a beast of an SUV, he used it for work and never let him down. That was a car that Mercedes made G from it was almost agricultural machine, plain on the inside, but boy it went through any obstacle you could throw at it, high snow, mud...as if it was child’s play. If I wanted a G wagon, I would buy an older version. Not a substitute. I do not want one, not my style. I do too much highway driving and due to where I live, chose a Touareg.Anyway, I love your videos, they are great, keep on the great work and cheers to the land down under.
RAM?! Just get a Mahindra mate 😂
G63 is the most pointless car ever made. Its nothing more than a status symbol.
No I want The 70 series for reliability and dealer network which are things I don't trust Dodge to give me isn't there a better truck then that
There was no dodge in the video mate. Ram is a separate manufacturer. 1500s are assembled and registered here now. Enjoy 6 figure prices for a 1980s truck with different sized axles and a casette player.
@@Saphire0437 in my country for some reason RAM is Dodge
@@demongs7481 ah right. Rams are a different story here in Australia where this video is filmed.
@@Saphire0437 on that you have a point we are in different countries and however I see that horned beast at the front of the car? I walk the other direction 😌 personal opinion
I thought that recommending a Nissan Patrol to potential G-Wagen buyers was a bold move, but then I remembered all those morons that bought the X Class. Though to be fair there were far fewer morons than either myself or M-B expected.
ReDriven you just turned the video off when you Camper the G63 with the patrol it's just crime you should compare it to the G400
Buying a used 2013 Prado for 24k.....
But you could also save thousands by buying a pair of nice walking shoes, and ok sitting in the car is more comfortable, but think of all the money you will be saving, also by walking instead of sitting in the car you will also be losing weight and therefore can save money monthly which you would have lost for a gym membership. But till you are saving that money you could buy a 1992 Mitsubishi Space Wagon. Its the closest you will get to Space. But you will be having saved thousands cause its 1992 model, so at best prices cost 2000 AUD.
I watch you religiously but silly comments like buying a navara over a hilux is making you look silly 😁
Why is that such an odd claim?
@@ReDriven it was more sarcasm!! Love your videos. Trying to convince us loyal Toyota lovers to buy or should I say go back to a Nissan is like having my wife yelling out saying darling I’m watching John Cadogan, turn Redriven off and come and watch it. It just ain’t going to happen.
In all seriousness once you’ve owned Toyotas I don’t think there’s any going back. Especially if you have lived remotely in Australia where most other manufacturers don’t even have a dealer.
Haha cheers!
