Oh my.... 😮 Emperor's New Clothes was a stop, rewind, quick pic for me!! I see he was registered in 2021 by Walters. How long do they typically come on the market after registration? Do you know? That's a "gotta have" for sure. 😊 GREAT tour! I cant wait for you to tour your hosta beds again. 👍🏻
@@gardencrossings Oooooooo, girl, I'd road trip it for that hosta!!! I'll keep my beedy little eyes open for when you do carry it! Thanks again for the video. So love my hostas! ♥️♥️😍♥️♥️
Love, love, love the Hosta tours. My only wish is that you could slow down a wee bit as I had to pause for every single one to catch the name. As always, thank you so much for sharing! 😊♥️
Thank you Heidi for the beautiful Hosta tour. The cats’s graceful walk through the garden was a good indicator of the plant size. However I had a hard time reading some of the names.
Thanks so much for this Hosta tour. Do these new Hostas at Walters garden, come about when a natural mutation occurs and “pup” is different from the parent Hosta and is then grown on, or I are these the result of purposely crossing of two Hostas? I have many in my Hosta collection that have different new Hostas coming from the mother plant during their 20 years in my garden. I have even had one self seed across the garden by itself.
So beautiful! I wish I had more shady areas to grow hostas as they are a favorite. I need some of the mini ones though! Are all of these Proven Winner's and available to purchase online or through a garden center?
6:43 Heidi, what is the one to the left thats kinda white? It was next to "High society". I was hoping you'd go to it since it was next in line but then you jumped back a row. 🤦♂️ Thanks for this tour. So many beautiful hostas.
I’m impressed by this gorgeous Hosta collection. However, I’m not very impressed by the video. Many tags are shown too briefly to actually read, many plants are being shown twice, others repeatedly skipped.
You can stop the video at any point if you would like to jot down the plant names. Also there are many hosta that were skipped because the name tags were not listed so I had no reference to give you. I am sorry.
What a disappointing video! Beautiful plants, but you COULDN'T READ THE NAMES. PUT THE NAMES ON THE SCREEN SO WE CAN READ THEM PLEASE. IT'S NOT THAT DIFFICULT!
I am glad you know about video editing and how 'easy' it is. Our intentions were not to put pop ups all over this video. you can stop the video to read the name tag if you wish.
Does anyone know the name of the hosta at 12:42?, to the left of the Touch of Class and directly behind the Atlantis. It must be a newer one because I didn't recognize it and I checked the Walter's Garden site and couldn't decide on a match.
garden goals!! So many gorgeous varieties but Emperor's New Clothes is the absolute stand-out for me.
Isn't that cool!!! Its not going to like much sun.
Where can we buy this variety? I’m obsessed!
Two of my favorites - cats and hostas. 🙂 Thanks so much for the beautiful tour!
Glad you enjoyed it!

So much to pack into one video 😍
Beautiful! What a great stress reliever.❤
It really is! A peaceful garden to walk through
LOVED this video, Heidi, thank you! Made note of a few to check your website. Thanks again!
Hostas are my favorite perennial! Beautiful 🤩
They do add a cool touch when all mixed together.

However I had a hard time reading some of the names.
If you stop the video that may help.
Now we need a hosta tour of your home garden Heidi!!
Coming soon!
Wow soooo many beautiful hostas
There really are.
OMG!!!!! So many to choose from I can’t pick
One of each, right?

I am sure they use all aspects of ways to come up with new varieties. I think many are just "odd" looking ones in a large block of all the same kind.
So beautiful! I wish I had more shady areas to grow hostas as they are a favorite. I need some of the mini ones though! Are all of these Proven Winner's and available to purchase online or through a garden center?
Is Walters Gardens open to the public? Looks like a great place to visit and spend the day enjoying all the beautiful plants!
Yes their parking lot beds are open to the public. They are 3 miles from us.
What plant labels do you use? Mine have faded. Excellent Hosta tour. I've added many to my list of must haves.
We have a commercial zebra printer that we print on waterproof labels.
Wonderful garden 🥰💗🥰
Thanks for visiting
amazing video.. thank you so much
Glad you liked it!

I believe that one is Autumn Frost
😍I love hostas
It is so cool when there are so many different ones mixed
Absolutely amazing!!!!
Thanks for watching.
What was that plant at the 1:00 mark? They were sticking out of the ground in individual stems with 6 leaves each? Like little palm trees
That is a great question. I have not noticed them before and am not sure what they are.
What do you use to keep the weeds out.
Woods chips or pine needles help
It was really difficult reading the cultivar markers . Should have watched video before sending .
The intention was if you wanted to make a note you could pause the video and write it down or take a screenshot.

Sorry I missed the tag, Or they may also not have been one.
