Love your tours! My goodness they look so different when mature. I now love Blue Ivory and Brother Stephan oh and First frost! Thank you for sharing your tour!😁👏🏻
I love Hostas and recently I've really become enamored with teeny tiny ones and you've shown me some new ones that I'm not familiar with on this tour. Thanks again Heidi for taking the time to walk us through this :)
... Praying Hands looked interesting and very different... I also liked the thin-leafed and dwarf varieties. (I liked all of them!) The Hakonechloa and Athyrium fern were also outstanding! 👩🌾💚 =^..^=
I absolutely love this garden!! I've been working on rearranging and building my hosta collection and love the idea of using ID tags - where did you source them? Are the tags a permanent ID, or do they fade/need to be replaced? Thanks again for another great video!
Thank you for asking. This is a trail garden and I am not sure of the source. You could try to see if amazon has something similar. "metal plant labels - Made of galvanized steel - Zinc name plate"
Beautiful garden! I've never seen that many hostas all in one garden. I love the tags on each hosta. Can you share your resource for the tags? Also, what did you use for the labels so they don't fade in the sun? Thank you.

I found the labeling very poor, and of course we all want to know the names. When zoomed in many were blurry and the pause was not sufficient to read- even if we could. That was disappointing. It would also have been nice to know the month of year so we could have an idea of how they age.
The camera is moving tooooo fast. I'm getting a bit sea sick. I cannot see any tag names. Toooo small to read them. Please watch your own video and see what I mean. I would much prefer, that you talk into the video. And read the names. Maybe even talk about the special features of some. We only see 1-2 seconds of each plant. We can't remember anything 😨
Love Whee! and Silly String, well and all the rest. Great tour and fun music on the big screen while my daughter and I have coffee and cocoa. ❤️
Thanks for watching.
Wow. Amazing. Beautiful hostas
Thanks for watching.

Glad you like them!
OMG so many gorgeous hostas! I especially love the wavy-edges ones. I am going to be re-watching this with pen and paper in hand...
Have fun! So many beauties.
Simply beautiful, I never knew how important leaf structure is in a garden.
It really is!

You are welcome.
I love my praying hands hostas! They are huge this year!!! Will split in the spring. Thanks for the tour, looks fabulous!
I am glad you enjoyed the tour.
I love praying hands too. Mine is taking a while to fill out though.
@@adz5bneweng589 I’ve had mine for 10 years. You won’t believe how big they get
@@adz5bneweng589 Mine are two years old so when I saw the big clump in the video I was shocked.
Will need to get the Blue Ivory and some Blue Mouse Ears.
Isn't it neat to see them side by side.
I agree. Loved both of them and they really stood out!

Thanks for your comments and for watching.
Absolutely stunning, i love all hosta❤
Thanks for watching.
Beautiful! I love them. They don't do well in the extreme sun.
That is true. Hosta do best in part shade to shade locations.
Love...... thank you!!
You are so welcome!
Thanks for this informative Hosta Tour. I love all the mice ones and the Wu ones.
Our pleasure!
I need some blue varieties in my garden.
It's interesting how much color they add!

The tags were hard to read and went by too quickly
Sorry. You can stop the video to take a better look if it is one you like.
Tags were hard for me to read.

Thanks for posting this video! Do you a recommendation for a front of the border (small/med) hosta that is early to emerge after winter? Thanks!
here is a link to hostas we carry that are up to 12" tall www.gardencrossings.com/product-category/perennials/hosta/?_max_spread=0-12-inches
Great tour as always....Question, can you put mini hosta in hypertufa containers in zone 5b and leave out all winter without losing them?....Thanks
Yes, can do that. Hosta are hardy down to zone 3 so that should not be a problem in zone 5 garden.
Luv Your Hosta Tours...SLOW DOWN.... By the time my eyes have focused in on the name tag you have moved on😢......Thanks 😊
Please hit pause to catch the names if you are interested.

We have another video similar to this that may be more helpful.
I need more time to read the tags. Very frustrating
Had to stop watching. Tags were either too blurry or moved by too quickly to read. Without knowing the names it's useless.
Sorry you did not enjoy this video.

So sorry. This is an older video and new one very similar was just posted last week. You can look at the video history to look for the new one.
