I came across your videos and can I say love the input, you remind me of myself here in Ireland, I am constantly either mowing the grass, or up to something, I also keep bees and like yourself I work, as I look at your videos I see me, thanks I really am enjoying them. again cheers from Kildare Ireland and keep them coming.
Just amazes me how much work you get done Joe, that place is looking fantastic. Can't wait to see what you do the next few years. Keep it up joe and Melissa
Its nice to see you finding time to work on the little farm house. Its looking cool. Its nice to see the you and Melissa work together. The property you cleaned up well. Soon it will be inside work. Autumn is on our door steps. I was blessed to grow up in the country with all the wild life. I'm now "Blessed to live by the sea shore" Enjoying lots of fish and lobster this summer. The leaves will be changing soon. Your quality videos are appreciated.
watching you on that tractor and all i can think is.... Green Acres is the place to be. Farm livin' is the life for me. Land spreadin' out so far and wide Keep Manhattan, just give me that countryside.
@Edgar Smithingston If its 'value' compared to gold is expressed in dollars per pound, perhaps you are correct. If it isn't calculated in dollars per pound, you are not only wrong, you're a troll of the variety I like to call 'jackass'.
Enjoying videos, please tell your wife those grits look like my grits, everyone can't cook grits, yard looks well groomed and your workshop looks like a home inside, nice. Thanks for sharing🙏🐕❤🐈
Joe, I was just thinking, you really got your money's worth from that tractor, and then you came out and said it. Those old tractors are really a big time saver around the farm and with additional attachments, you'll make a ton of progress fast. Thanks for posting.
I haven’t watched your show in a few days and I’ve missed it. I have subscribed to a couple other people who are living off the grid and building houses in the forest. Now it’s time to settle back and watch some more of Northern Seclusion and the tent.
Joe you are a master craftsman like your Dad...I've been really sick the last two years and your videos especially the tent and hunting one's have gotten me through some pretty rough patches. Would love to me you some time I believe you duck hunt near where I live. Keep the videos coming
Joe I have just finished a four day binge of watching all of the Joe and Zach Survival and Northern Seclusion videos. I am amazed with your skill level and problem solving abilities. Your energy is unbelievable! Good luck to you and Melissa and your respective families. I can’t wait till your next posting!
Hi Joe!! You haven’t said anything about the baby crib lately time is getting close. Zach said something about it on one of his last videos. The yard looks great 👍 plenty of room to stretch your legs. Have a good night!!
That Ice and Water shield you put on the roof has to be rolled before the adhesive sticks. Those staples won't hold it down ina 20 mph wind and it's not going to stick. If you don't roll it just use 90# and nail it on. We use a 100# floor roller when we install it.
I have been using it for so many years I can not count. This will be the test for sure. It gets cold as F here and it blows like crazy. Lets see what happens.
@@NorthernSeclusion Me too, how do you think I know what happens when you don't roll it on? Lol! For me it was an expensive lesson as it all balled up and stuck together.
Your videos are great. You are documenting work at your home to improve the property. And you provide exactly that...and some amazing meal prep/scrumptious dinners. I would love to see some of your work projects...I think it would be very educational. But, I guess you have decided not to include that aspect. Love you channel! You and Melissa have busy lives...I am amazed how much you get accomplished.
Joe i need you at my place you do so much good work u could have work that i need done in no time yall have your farm place so nice now, thats so pretty back in the woods to where the deers was on video
With as many Does and Fawns around there, there has to be some Bucks in the area somewhere. Maybe during the Rut you will see a Buck or at least a couple. At least I would think so! Thanks for all the updates at the Farm House and Melissa I’m sorry we couldn’t get together but understand m as very limited. Love y’all!
I think that it'll take a couple of years to do all the things that the previous owners didn't do, maybe they were older, but you've got the 'Drive' that most would die for!:) I can't wait to see the progress...Semper Fidelis
Great video again! I cant believe how much you guys have accomplished in such a short time! The house is looking so sweet inside! That stained glass in the laundry is beautiful...
Thanks Joe for doing these videos at the farmhouse and for sharing them. I love each and everyone of them that I have seen so far. I looked forward to the next video.
Man, I sure do enjoy watching that M work. Mine hasn't been started in a couple months. Need to get the front wheels off of it to get the new tires installed so it is ready for winter. Looking forward to the next installment!
I wonder if your work ethic is catchy? I know I sometimes feel a bit guilty when I don’t finish a project. I hear a niggling little voice in my head saying, “Joe would have finished that project and seven more!” Update: I just read all the comments. You sure get a lot of advice! 🤣
Are you not losing the Deer due to mowing so much pasture? Here in the uk we leave a acre of longer pastre on the edge of out woodland for them. We have a strong healthy breading population. BEST WISHES.
After a flight, I'm a little queasy too. I always want chicken noodle soup from the can, made a little bit on the thin side... It's mostly water and salt = electrolytes for dehydration. Also, what little chicken broth there is, seems to calm my tummy. Maybe she has another favorite that she likes when she is sick. But after all those hours of not eating, it's good to get something light, before bed. ❤🌅🌵 p.s. Hope she's feeling better after a good night's sleep in her own bed.
Hey Joe, another great video for sure. Glad to hear that Melissa had a great time visiting family. Just one thing I wanted to point out to you about the tractor. Those two arms that connect up to the finish mower should be strapped up with something to keep them swinging around like they where when you where cleaning up around the workshop. They where swinging around quite hard and may get bent or even break or possibly get hair line fractures in the bars from whipping around so hard. Being a machinist all my working days let's just say that forces like that will weaken metal pretty quickly. If someone else already posted about this I am sorry about the repetition of comments. One other thing, I think the AM/PM settings in your woods camera is wrong. It showed broad daylight pictures/videos in the PM ones and it was dark in the AM ones....Just saying...lol Looking forward to seeing you on the next video. Tom.
Mid-priced, easy, fairly cool looking flooring option that my wife and I did in the entryway and hallway is a plywood plank floor. Ripped some sanded plywood into about 8" strips, nailed 'em down and threw a few coats of thick poly over them. We love it.
You should build a pallet to store your mower on. If not on back of tractor it will keep it off the ground and if you ever want to move it you only need forklift or just push the pallet. You could make a sled pallet to store it on and you could definitely just push it to store wherever during winter. Your dog was looking for you when you were screwing down the plywood on the roof.
Watching you run that M all this time I had to get my old log books out and see how many I’ve overhauled through the years! 13 C’s 6 Super C’s..2 Farmall A... 9 Farmall Super A’s ..23 H.. 11 Super H.. 32 M’s and 28 Super M’s.. They’re damn good tractors! Thanks for showing yours off!
Looking good Joe . Didn't know airports had a cell phone lot . Just call when ready to be picked up . Great idea . I like those saw horse you have there Joe , They seem to be strong and sturdy . What kind are they . I need a couple . Looks like they are portable . Those pizzas looked yummy .
The farmhouse and it's outbuildings are looking great, Joe! That tractor has really come in handy! Can't wait for you to have chickens relocated there; bet they will love being able to partially free range?
Hey Joe, you're pretty good with construction work. If this whole "UA-cam thing" doesn't work out, you should give construction a try!! ;-)) Just havin' a little fun with ya, pal. Place is really coming along.
Pretty sure I’d put that out in hay, bale it and sell it. Hay is going to be a premium this year. Like you video though. The these chicken coops were made was just dumb. 😂😂. BTW, if you ever run out of stuff to do, you could come to my house for couple days. I need a good carpenter. 😂
Great Tractor skills. Great Job!
Oh my I loved watching the deer. So beautiful Joe. Great job on the chicken house. 🙌
In Australia, most people dry their clothes outside the majority of the time, dryers are rarely used.
Yup I am ready for spring....Enjoying some older vjds
Great video Joe. Looking forward to seeing your next video out on the frozen pond. Hope you have/ had a great time.
It is amazing what a little TLC can do make a place look so much better.

Shew, 33 minutes of watching you Joe, and I’m ready for a nap!
Thanks for taking us along, exhausting but enjoyable as always!
Its amazing to me how many miles you drive. I don't even like to drive 10 miles a day. You take it to another level.
What a huge difference around the barn! How satisfying. That tractor is worth its weight in gold!
Genelle Brown that's because it's a Farmall lol👍😊...

Thank you Scott. I got up to the Farmhouse today. I am already filming the next video.
Really coming along nicely 👍🤠
We just started seeing bucks in the yard. Just the apples are starting to fall! We have 65 apple trees on two acres.
This homestead is perfect for someone with your energy Joe. Keep at it
Getting your money's worth out of that tractor Joe. Well done man. Farm sure looks great! Be well.
Your great!
Good job with all that gnarly old fencing Joe! Hard work pays off my friend. The place looks great.
Hi Joe!! You haven’t said anything about the baby crib lately time is getting close. Zach said something about it on one of his last videos. The yard looks great 👍 plenty of room to stretch your legs. Have a good night!!
Wow what a amazing video enjoy the video can't wait to see more of your video keep up with the great work mate
Your place looks better and better. Funny when you go into Cloquet, it is all so familiar to me. I have property in Wrenshall and live in Minneapolis

That ol' M was a good investment, Joe.
Glad the Mower worked out Joe.
Smart move .
omg, haven’t seen those many fence posts seemingly put up everywhere❕
On your other video i mentioned needing the finish mower. I see you already have one!
Yes, we bought one last year.
So thrilled with how that tractor has worked out for you. Really showcases the value of old iron that is cared for. Keep up the great work!
That things a powerhouse....who needs a bulldozer when you have an old Farmall 😊 Great video as usual Joe!

Yes Joe, build new eggs boxes, your doing a great job on the outside, why not on the inside to!
Bev Irick I think they all should be painted bright colors with stenciled designs too.
Good grief people! One thing at a time!
Those trail video cameras are great! Good idea to include that video Joe!!

Everything is looking great bud. You folks are busy but managing things really well. Good for you my friends.
You are handy with the Farmall M. Great machine.
You amaze me in so many ways. You are one of the hardest workers I have ever seen in my life. I wish you and Melissa much happiness in life!
You certainly live a dynamic life.
Joe, what a fine place you’re beginning to have. I can’t wait to see your final work on the farmhouse. Melissa’s still a better mower. XD
Great video again! I cant believe how much you guys have accomplished in such a short time! The house is looking so sweet inside! That stained glass in the laundry is beautiful...

That mystery pushing in the tall weeds would have me on constant edge. Looking good.

Its always been a nice lil homestead but u n Melissa are making it look real nice. That tractor is a beast😲. Tyfs God bless you
WOW that so called Chicken Coop if it had a pool and a bar would list around $350,000 plus here in San Diego . LOL

Wow Joe! What else can we say! Great job!!!
Yay - an extra video. AND with home improvements.

Great work as always Joe love the chook house it’s coming along nicely
I envision an orchard in your near future!
Nice work and good video as usual Joe! That doe with little ears must hang around the farm.
She has been here since day one.

Joe, you need a Bush-Hog
You need a week wacker to clean up around all those buildings, trees, obstacles, etc...
We've got eleven does and fawns that are always in our front forty hay field. We haven't seen any in velvet either.

In the warm months yes they can free range.
Should still file for a doe tag at the farm house area if possible. Also need to paint the finish mower barn red to match the tractor
He doesn’t plan on hunting at the farm.
