Unveiling of the statue of Thomas Dove (T.D.) Keizur mounted on a Morgan horse, 1843 wagon train pioneer, 1843 Oregon settler, and first captain of the Oregon Rangers militia (precursor of the Oregon National Guard) and 1844 election as Oregon pre-provisional legislator at the Keizer Civic Center in Keizer, Oregon, on January 30, 2010.
Nearly 150 descendants of Thomas Dove and Mary (Gurley) Keizur were present at this monumental event commemorating the patriarch and his 24 family members that arrived in 1843 to what is now the city of Keizer.
