I also have a nextbase and to be fair they are very good. The fact this records front and back done it for me. Thanks for the lovely comment . much appreciated andy 👍
Thanks for posting 3 videos (critique and installation) of this rearview mirror cam. 1) your disclaimer is much appreciated in part 1. 2) Very cool that you're a car guy (with that particular car) and you are DIY as well. 3) Bo is adorable. Life is 100% better with a dog in the family! I'm viewing your videos in advance of installation. Some questions - a) you mentioned that it's necessary to convert the recorded image to something compatible with a smart phone. Is that a step in the programming of the camera itself, or did you find that info somewhere else? B) what capacity TF card do you use? C) have you found any peroformance issues with the cam when it's been in the sun for long periods of time? D) what setting did you use for the G sensor? did you find driving over speed tables, bumps, potholes would lock the recording? Thank again! keep recording your adventures with Bo!
Wow. Will do an update for you J M. But if you need any help then just contact me on randomtherapy007@gmail.com and I can organise a video chat to help. Take your time like I did and you’ll do just fine. Also you can playback your clips on the mirror. Thanks for the lovely comments and hope you enjoy my next stuff 👍🏻😎
To be honest it's working great and the reversing camera is good quality. I have now also added the gps to it so it's gave it added features . Only negative is its better just using it as a mirror through the day. Camera quality is also good and will be using some of the footage in some of my later videos. Hope this helps 👍
Great job. That mirror and camera looks like a very tidy piece of kit👍. Shame I’ve just bought a nextbase! I would have considered one of these.
