As someone who has been disciplined with a yardstick, I can confirm that it is the most underrated weapon in history and probably could defeat a demon.
That's Jennifer Rhodes as Sister Gloria. She played "Grams" Halliwell on "Charmed," and was also Winona Ryder's mother in "Heathers." And OMG, Burger Chef! There used to be one of those near where I lived in Connecticut! I remember the TV commercials for them! At one time they were second only to McDonald's in number of locations. They introduced their "Fun Meal" before McDonald's "Happy Meal" came out, and sued McDonald's but lost. According to one survey, Burger Chef served the best burgers of any fast food restaurant chain. Sadly, they ended up being bought out by Hardee's.
Yeah Rodg is dearly missed in this movie. Me and my brother went to go see the first one at the movie theaters and we were shocked like everybody else was in the movie theater that the Black guy actually survived a 1980's horror movie.
What about Laurence Fishburne in a nightmare on elm st part 3, he got a small cut but he didn't die. Kincaid didn't die until pt 4, to be fair so did everyone else. And I know he was just a kid but let's not forget about Reggie the "reckless " from Friday the 13th pt 4.

As someone who graduated high school in 1996, I can attest that many high schools had smoking sections (sanctioned or not); ours was between the pool and the tennis courts, and the campus cop would hang out there over breaks to ensure no one took a lit smoke beyond that one arbitrary line in the sidewalk...
At our high school you had to step off school property to light up, which was usually right off the curb and stand in the street. Kids that did that were called curb critters, even by teachers.
@@sunshineholmes3487 I think that was the line in the sidewalk. The issue for my old school was that the campus backed up immediately against a public park, which had an aquatic center, tennis courts, lacrosse/soccer fields and community facilities (i.e., rec center, museum), and the stadium was *technically* on both properties. Soooo, yeah, we just stood kind of in that area, and Stacy the campus cop would stop us from her golf cart if we strayed too close 🤣
Class of '98 here and can confirm we had a full on smoking section in our school. Not even off school property, just kinda around the back and wrapping around the side. If you needed to bum a smoke you knew exactly where to go.
Fun Fact. "Dead End Drive-In" is based on a short story by Peter Carey, Australia's most celebrated author and two-time winner of the Booker Prize. However director Brian Trenchard-Smith happily admitted he never bothered reading it.
The second is a solid horror comedy. Jennifer Rhodes chews up the scenery and there's some some good effects work. It could have turned out a lot worse for a movie made during the horror doldrums of the mid 90s
She was particularly awesome in the second one. A certain scene with a gun and a young actor I recognised from an episode of goosebumps springs to mind.
I quit this review after 5 minutes and watched the movie for myself since i have seen the first one and boy, Part 2 was pretty decent. Not great, but good enough.
