What else should we react to? 🤔 Comment below! Also for those missed last Saturdays live ERB I’ve edited and will be uploading LATER TODAY!! 👀 That’s two ERBs for you heathens - now go buy merch www.knoxhillmusic.com
my recommendations would be isekai rap cypher by rustage, hostiles on the hill by bad lip reading, and i'm something else by somethingelseyt
hey knox! can u react to itzy - mafia in the morning? a kpop girlgroup
Gotta be 360 - Tiny Angel, will hit you hard as a dad, but amazing storytelling and got some bars
Ya gotta do Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe. Its brutal af.
You need to do bobs fett vs dead pool
Juliet: *utterly destroying bonnie and clyde*
Clyde: "Hey Romeo.... stop her"
🤣🤣 Facts. She savage af
@@KnoxHill What’s funny is that’s story accurate. Juliet is hands down the smartest person in that whole play. And she’s 14! She corrects Romeo’s stupidity in his love confession in the balcony scene. She comes up with most of the plans to actually keep her marriage together and she offs herself cuz she realizes her husband and her ONLY other suitor are dead and the only option in that society she has, because she was married and consummated that marriage, is prostitution which usually ended in brutal murder. So which would she rather do? Oh, there’s a convenient dagger over there! There we go!
@@KnoxHill the Michael Jordan erb is Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali
@@jrcspiderman2003 Jordan vs Ali is a REALLY good ERB.
@@salenstormwing agreed
Juliet solo’d this one. Romeo was just her hype man
Knox: "Do I really need to explain Romeo and Juliet? No."
Knox: Explains the premise of Romeo and Juliet.
🤣🤣🤦♂️
@@KnoxHill To be honest the incredibly in depth breakdown is what keeps me coming back to these ^-^
@@CyborgCharlotte totally agree. Even though I thought it was funny, still appreciate it. I wonder if he researches the topics right beforehand, because he always has a high level of knowledge in a vast array of subjects at the tips of his fingers (if I haf to guess, based on his breakdowns, he doesn't. He's just that smart).
@@TheKyfe Yeah, he has said he researches some of the ones he doesn't fully know much about. Mad respect for the effort the guy puts into his work.
Please never change, Knox 🤣🙏🏻
"Because naturally, if you can't become a mechanic you become a bank robber instead"
Could be worse, there was that one man who got turned down from Art school...
Lmfao
underrated comment LMFAOO
and that dude threw the world in chaos 🤣
those who rejected him should've get slaps on their faces.
OH LMAO
Yep, he was in ERB too, multiple times to be exact. Against Darth Vader of all people....
"Where's Romeo? OH NOMEO!" has to be my favorite line ever. Can't hear it in her voice and not giggle.
THERE'S POISON ON YOUR FACE!
NO+ME+OH+ROMEO=NOMEO
Let's be honest.....Juliet won the whole battle 😂
facts tho
Big Facts
💯
Juliet absolutely murdered everyone despite being sided with Romeo.
@@jamesfrazier7823 And Romeo was next to useless aside from being Juliet's hypeman lmao
Monroe vs Cleopatra redefines the meaning of a "cat fight" and "gloves off". Its so dirty that the FDA has declared it not suitable for human consumption.
As dirty as MM's "cat"
So bad they had to give Monroe an extra verse to recover from the damage.
They went in on each other with viciousness
@@katsunada Her first verse was split into two that's why it is so short. Monroe and Cleopatra actually got equal times on their turns.
@@GriseWeisshark they don't actually... Monroe got 10sec + 20sec+10sec
And Cleopatra only got 20sec+10sec
So Marilyn got more time
At 13:42 while Romeo is saying 'federal offence', he's also biting his thumb - at the very start of the play some Montague and Capulet men start a fight over one of them biting his thumb at the other - it was basically the 17th Century version of giving someone the middle finger
Actually, biting your thumb isn't an insult at all. It was used to show how blood thirsty and quick to take offense the houses were. They looked for any excuse to basically go at each other.
Giving somebody the finger was invented by the Romans and has been constant through history since. The biting the thumb was giving themselves minor injuries they could blame on the other side to justify a fight.
its both a way to get minor injuries in a battle and the Italian finger salute
You dare bite your thumb at me sire
@@phillyphill30 do you quarrel sir😂😂
Knox: “I was not just expecting Juliet to pull out ‘bitches on blast’. That was savage.”
Me: just wait for it XD
😂😂😂
‘Oh but that’s even your real husband, now is it?’
I died 😂😂😂😂
"Thus with a diss, I die" is a reference to the line Romeo says "thus with a kiss, I die" before he dies in the play.
I really love this erb a lot, cause we all were expecting Bonnie and Clyde, two badasses in a couple, to both metaphorically and literally slaughter Romeo and Juliet, only for Romeo to lay down the gasoline and let Juliet brutally roast them! And at first, we’re like why are these dumb teen lovers winning, and then you realize “Oh. They’re Shakespeare characters. Literally the author is a poet! No wonder these two have a way with words!” But anyways, great video Knox!
there are four people in this Rap Battle
three of which are adults
but the most savage lines came from a damn 13 year old
'13 y/o'
is that not how it always is though...
@Xerius Romeo in the Shakespeare play was 21.
@@WorldTree33 His age was never confirmed
You know what battle Knox still needs to watch? Julius Caesar vs. Shaka Zulu
The battle of military commanders.
This! But I wanna see Jordan vs Ali.
I love that one because Caesar goes step by step through how Roman tactics destroy the Zulu Bull and Horns.
@@minelegend6557 Not just that, but even the little lines like 'Oooh can I be the Hyena, because I'm about to laugh' - Shaka threw the mother of one of enemies into a house full of hungry Hyenas (and then burned it down after). So Caesar's not only saying he doesn't take Shaka seriously, he's not just saying he's gonna rip Shaka apart, he's not just promising to be every bit as ruthless as Shaka was, but he's gonna deliver to Shaka the very same doom he forced on another. Pretty much every line of Caesar's is a double or more if you know the history and I friggin live for it!
@@Neion8 Also it's a response to Shaka's chicken line because in Shaka's culture when people die they are reincarnated into an animal based on how they lived their lives. So Caesar's mocking him being like "Ooh I like Hyenas can I have that one!
Yaaa, one of my favs! Let’s go Knox!
When you log on UA-cam and see Knox published a new video 5 minutes ago:
*happiness noises*

@@KnoxHill damn dude
Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe!!!!! Knox's commentary when Romeo died KILLED MEEEEEE🤣🤣🤣🤣. Also ERB did a video of Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali (another great rap battle!) so that was most likely Michael Jordan you saw. They were played by Key and Peele I believe.
Tybalt: Mercutio's killer
Dust Bowl: Was in northern Texas, but I think this was a time reference.
Bonnie's Husband: Roy Thornton
Juliet's last line in the play: "O happy dagger, this is thy sheath; there rest, and let me die."
And yeah, Juliet took this by herself.
There rust and let me die
Also Tybalt was Juliet’s cousin. So technically Romeo killed his cousin in-law for killing his best friend.
"Dustbowl" - Happened during the 30's, which is the time when Bonnie & Clyde were actively committing their crimes.
"Federal offense" - When Romeo does the thumb move, that's the Shakespearean era version of shooting the bird.
Not only did Clyde unnecessarily cut his toes off, but it left him with a permanent limp, AND he was unable to wear shoes when he drove.
Dude you gotta do the Cleopatra vs Marlyn Monroe. Theres a bar in that, that hits pretty hard
Exactly my thought
Iykyk
Not only a bar, entire battle has savage lines all over
Factsss that bar goes so hard
I hope my like will help knox not miss this carriage of a top tier comment recommendation.
Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali is straight fire, there are so many ruthless personals.
This!
Gandhi vs MLK too!!
"do you quarrel sir?" is also a reference to the first scene in romeo and juliet, where two servants from each house get into a fight.
Knox, want to know the three battles you really need to watch?
Michael Jackson vs Elvis Presley
Steve Jobs vs Bill Gates
James Bond vs Austin Powers
and cleopatra and marylin
Bieber vs Beethoven
I love how when Romeo mentions the whole Ford ordeal, Juliet's face just looks so amused because of such savagery.
We know the real title of this battle is Bonnie vs Juliet and Juliet won. They really write cat fights
I think the true irony is that Romeo was considered the height of masculinity at the time.
“Juliet in the house”
This Knox quote explains the entire battle
The "Oh, Nomeo!" part cracks me up every time. The tone of voice will always get me laughing 🤣
13:27 Bonnie and Clyde's (rap sheet) was so bad that they should've been Federal offense, but it wasn't the case back then and they were exploiting the "state line" rule which prevented officers from pursuing a fugitive into another jurisdiction, by swinging in a circle skirting the edges of five mid-western states. In the end, the ambush was done by officers from Texas and Louisiana. Bonnie and Clyde and their gang are the ones that inspired new federal statutes that made bank robbery and kidnapping federal offenses, some time after Bonnie and Clyde's death.
This battle is like a three legged race where they all fall at the end.. Except Juliet who won by miles , then Bonnie, then is a photo finish between the other two that no one cares about by now.
Juliet picked up Romeo and ran across that finish line like a goddamn champ.
If I'm going by team, I'm giving Bonnie and Clyde the win, Romeo really drags down his team. If I'm going by individual performance, Juliet won hands down!!!
Knox, the look on your face whenever Juilet gets started was everything I had hoped for.
"Wherefore art thou Romeo?" She's basically asking herself why Romeo had to be a Montegue and not any other family. "Deny thy Father and refuse thy name, or if thou wilt not, be but sworn to my love and I'll no longer be a Capulet." Here she's asking Romeo to denounce his name and leave his family, but if he doesn't want to, if he promises to love her, she'll give up her own name. So it is kind of deep. Back then, especially with the Nobility, your family Name was often worth more than the actual person and to give up one's family was a pretty harsh thing to do... it'd be like a kid filing for emancipation from his parents, which is extreme. But let's be real, I'm sure you knew all that already. :D
The "Federal offense" line was also a reference to how Bonnie and Clyde got away with their crimes for so long: it was pre-FBI, so once they crossed state lines the state patrol couldn't pursue them anymore.
I always like Mother Teresa and Sigmund Freud, the beat is amazing and the bars are so elaborate for Teresa.
My personal favorite is James Bond vs Austin Powers
MT vs SF is criminally underrated.
You really need to check out some of the "Princess rap battles" sounds stupid I know, but trust me totally worth it
Rapunzel was brutal.
Yes it was!!
"not a true romance" I just realized, after years, this could be a reference to the movie True Romance, written by Tarantino
That bar about Clyde from Juliet was historically accurate and a deep cut for Clyde. He was arrested and sent to Eastham prison in Lovelady, Texas where he suffered horrible abuse from the guards and one prisoner who violated him multiple times.
Laughed so hard through this! Juliet absolutely destroys 🔥 Sorry to hear you’re getting unwell again Knox, hope it passes soon bro 👏
Really love when youtube "knox" on my feed
Appreciate it! Much love 🙌
@@KnoxHill I'm always looking forward to Friday, I always love your videos.
"The Star-crossed lovers vs. bonnie and Clyde...there's gonna be some BARs in this one." You're a damn poet
Romeo and Juliet” was based on the life of two real lovers who lived in Verona, Italy 1303, and who died for each other. Shakespeare is reckoned to have discovered this tragic love story in Arthur Brooke's 1562 poem entitled “The Tragical History of Romeo and Juliet” and rewrote it as a tragic story
I love how you copy and pasted this straight from a article.
There were several couples that were the inspiration including Cleopatra and Marc Antony
I'm lazy and I new the story was based on real lovers but I couldn't remember off the top of my head
i cant count the amount of times i was screaming "ITS TYBALT' every time you were trying to remember his name
Wanna get more vicious?
Clint Eastwood vs Bruce Lee 🤠
Yep.
@Michael Longstaff Same.
Definitely one of the most one-sided vicious bars of the series
Marlyn Monroe vs Cleopatra is another vicious battle
22:43 Damn right there is a Michael Jordan ERB. Its against Muhammad Ali and its jampacked with "oof that was low" lines
"shield yourself inside my heart and like the beat I drop" - not only her body and the beat of the song but her heartbeat
LET'S GOO!! Just refreshed my feed and saw this uploaded, my Friday's been made!! Clint Eastwood vs Bruce Lee, Deadpool vs Boba Fett and Vlad the Impaler vs Count Dracula
Edit: in the movie, Leguizamo played Tybalt, who killed Mercutio
David Copperfield vs Harry Houdini and George Carlin vs Richard Pryor are very unique I highly recommend them. Also I missed half the Wayne Gretzky vs Toby Hawk stream so I hope you post that soon : D
One of my favorites right here, the ladies of ERB tend to be very savage
Nice subtitles at the beggining 🤣🤣🤣 Greetings from Hungary!
"I've been known to fire off some BARs"
Yes, Browning Automatic Rifle, Clyde's weapon of choice so he was actually known to "fire off some BARs." That weapon was a big reason they were ambushed and killed the way they were.
You never cease to amaze me to how much detail you manage to go into with all of these videos.
10:22 sorry, I need that timestamp, because that stabbing attempt for some reason is god tier comedy to me, I want a clip of that repeating over and over
I love this man.
"Romeo didn't realize that Juliet was faking it."
Sorry, I had to
Ha
BAR: Browning Automatic Rifle, one of the most powerful and reliable weapons used in WW2.....i want one
Isaac Newton vs. Bill Nye.
Absolutely. Wierd Al guest starring as Newton is amazing.
100%!
With the surprise visit
Astrophysics black guy
Hannah Hart (Bonnie) and Grace Helbig (Juliet) are friends from Early UA-cam days and it shows that they had SO MUCH FUN doing this.
The third person of their UA-cam trio, Mamrie Hart played Julia Child (vs Gordon Ramsay) which.. If you haven't seen it it's the best.
Hanna was MyDrunkKitchen BTW, and Grace was ItsGrace and/or DailyGrace... Yo somebody should react to old MyDrunkKitchen videos they were comedy gold.
2:04 - HAHA! Wtf? Greeting from Hungary, Knox!
Lets go, this is my favorite ERB of all time, I am glad Knox liked it
EVERY line by Juliet had a quality bar! Never before or after this happened on ERB so far!
If you want savage, you have to do Cleopatra vs Marilyn Monroe
13:51 my man is devastated, look at his face
U killed me with "romeo is a metro simp" xD great video!
George Carlin vs. Richard Pryor. Should be done next of the ERB series. It's areally great one
If you thought Juliet was savage, watch Marilyn Monroe vs. Cleopatra.
There are two key and peele erb's. Both are AMAZING. One is Ghandi vs Martin Luther King Jr. And the other is Michael Jordan vs Mohammed Ali.
Blackbeard VS Al Capone!!! IS 250% Fire
Finally! One more thing to look forward to on Fridays
I understand that you have a list of ERB's to go through, but please tell me that somewhere on that list is Jim Henson vs Stan Lee
you should watch Jacque Cousteau vs Steve Irwin. It was some really good lines
Plus the sound effects there was awesome
Some of the best short ones are einstein vs Stephen hawking and sherlock holmes vs batman...Vlad the impaler vs dracula and isaac newton vs bill nye arent short but still also very good
There we go. Now you're reacting to the right ones. Up next Marilyn Munroe vs Cleopatra, but dont livestream that one.
Why not?
@@jamesjenkins7085 from what I can tell he doesn't post the replay. He did Tony Hawk vs Gretzky live and I thought "I'll watch that later". Never posted it.
@@jamesjenkins7085 Many people, including me, don't enjoy the livestreams, but still want to watch Knox break down these battles.
@@jamesjenkins7085 well last week the livestream went completely south. And this is the most savage battle from ERB. It's better if he plays it safe with that one.
@@DJKuroh he posted the Ronald mcdonald vs burger king one, but i think something messed up with the recent one (from livestream)
13:51 That was my face when my deeply moral grandfather in his final days was telling a story about working in the fields as a teen. The young guys would hang back with a young girl they liked until the adults were out of sight and then, quote "put the bone to her", end quote. As with Juliet's lines, there were multiple levels of shock.
You know man, I just found your ERB reacts, and I have to say this... I never ever saw any american youtubers in this category who were so well informed and educated as you. In every video you make mostly true and really good notes and facts about the theme and you have really good historical knowledge. It's really strange from a yankee. :D Big respect, really.
That... is kind of offensive and a backhanded compliment. Not sure if you are aware, but, it comes off as kind of being a dick.
@@OpDDay2001 I agree. Wtf is Yankee suppose do mean. This guy is just insulting all Americans
@@jduck5469 oh you must be very young to now know a yankee is an insult to the people in northern US.. lol dating back to civil war times.
Yo Knox Hill your new album is killer bro, sick flows. You have inspired me to practice on my writing and freestyling by watching your breakdowns so I can actually add lyrics to the beats i make. Keep doin you, dude
Michael Jordan vs Muhammad Ali starring Key and Peele, one of my favorites. Freddie Mercury vs Frank Sinatra as well.
I don’t know anything about Romeo and Juliet besides the basics since I’ve never bothered to look into the story so you explaining the story to explain the bars is genuinely helpful and actually made me appreciate the disses and the burns from this rap a lot more so thank you
I agree juliet killed the whole thing but gotta give it to Romeo for taking the hard road by being more in character and sticking with the Shakespearean English more often
That oh nomeo line gets me everytime, just can't help laughing at the craziness she gives that line.
Ayyyy yoooo!!!!!! And another great one thank you Knox 😂
I know you said you are going to do all the ERB, if you haven't already done them for pattern exclusive some really top ones are Stan Lee vs Jim Henson, Artists vs TMNT, George Carlin vs Richard Pryor, Dr Seuss vs Shakespeare, Caesar vs Shaka Zulu, Thomas Jefferson vs Fredrick Douglas, and George Washington vs William Wallace. I have been loving your album and can't wait for the new one, so glad I found you through the Falling In Reverse reaction rabbit hole I went down. Edit: I forgot MJ vs Elvis that is another great older one
love the breakdowns, but i kinda kinda wish you'd wait for a whole verse happen before doing so.
finally been requesting this battle, happy you finally react to this.
Yes, you should watch Michael Jordan VS Muhammad Ali, really fun one
I love when you break down these erbs there's some of my favorite videos cuz there's so much to break down
Freddy Krueger vs Wolverine!!! Savage all the way through!
Him:*clicks play*
Also him:*3 seconds later clicks stop*
Gotta do Stan lee vs Jim Henson next Knox!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, you are the smartest/ most knowledgeable of reactors, I know you study up beforehand but that makes it better.
I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE.
Now can you please do George Carlin vs Richard Pryor?
Also, side note, they have the Mineola bank in the background and Mineola is right up the road from me lol.
About a 15 to 20 minute drive.
Bro I've been waiting for you to watch this one. Juliet is built different
Well after this, he need to connect into Shakespeare vs Dr Suess
I think the way they framed the shot and the sort of deadpan expressions on Bonnie and Clyde, after Romeo and Juliet die, could be a reference to the painting American Gothic by Grant Wood
You gotta do Marilyn Monroe vs Cleopatra and Stan Lee vs Jim Henson
people who subscribe do actually get a bag.. a bag of top tier content and music. love you knox!
Julie have a strong back carrying the whole battle like that
Or very heavy boobs and it just perfectly balances out the weight 🤔
@@F1rstWorldNomaD perfectly balanced....as all should be
@@leverite6127 HAH! I see what you did there 🤣🤣🤣
It was after he got stabbed that he said "A plague on both your houses" because he got hurt because of the houses fighting
Freddy Krueger vs Wolverine is a good one
Great reaction, Knox! Seeing you pointing out the battles flashing on screen at the end, gotta suggest the one you didn't mention: Ghostbusters vs Mythbusters. Definitely worth the listen.
HOW ABOUT JIM HENSON vs STAN LEE! That one's my favorite, especially the Disney part:)
Great reaction choice once again. Your bar breakdowns bring me back time and time again.
