Looks like right side idle when is too low, maybe missing spacer washer as belt nearly comes off when loosened. Might be issue

You’re not connecting this video and your previous video and short, and not responding to comments in them.
Something is definitely amiss if the same belt is coming off 8 times in X number of months, years or whatever (you didn’t say, and that makes a difference).
I don’t think that brake pad is supposed to wobble. Every one I’ve seen is firmly attached.
Now that I’ve seen this video I’m more convinced that the belt is too long.
It would be interesting to see the same slow motion videos on other mower decks to see if the same characteristics are present.

I explained why the belt was kept jumping off 8 times. The owner was reinstalling the same belt. It had gotten twisted and once a belt gets run with it twisted it will never stay on properly. I said that in the video after installing the new belt.
People often don't realize that those belts are v groove belts and it must be put on a specific way. And they don't realized running a belt twisted will make it jump off from there on out.
Plus it needs all the belt guides to be in the proper place. Another common reason is that the idlers bearings or spindle bearings are bad and causing the ider or spindle to wobble or hard to rotate.
The belt is not too loose. Everyone with manually engagement style decks (mowers with out an electric pto clutch) think the belts are too loose even with the proper belt on them.
Keep in mind, I work on commercial mowers for a living. This mower is like a mickey mouse play toy. Very cheap simple and easy to work on.
The slow motion video was just an interesting video where I happen to notice the brake pad loose which would have nothing to do with the belt coming off. Just interesting to see everything working in slow motion.

Ok, thanks! I didn’t understand in your explanation the correlation between your mention of belt twisting and the customer’s issue. 👍

@Rein_Ciarfella no worries, man. I appreciate your comment. After your comment, I realized my thumbnail on the slow motion video made it seem like that exact belt had the issue while that was the new belt. The twisted belt that was twisted, reused, and shredded was never recorded in action. I changed the thumbnail for that video so not to cause future confusion for others.
I'll record some similar mower's deck belts in action. That will be an interesting comparison. Have a good one. 🍻
