I use silicone grease to lubricate anything I’m reassembling with rubber parts like O-rings, nipples on fuel line and breather line connections, etc. Makes getting then on and off multiple times really easy, especially if I’m doing testing.
That is what I was afraid of, the pto clutch bearings. I knew that clutch was only about a yr old (and expensive). Here is what it was ua-cam.com/video/pGC1-R5l3W8/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching and commenting! God Bless you as well!
I recently acquired my first 3M Roloc bristle disks to clean valve covers on a Kawasaki 730. Worked amazingly well and fast. I would add that keeping the disk and surfaces wet with WD-40 really improved how well they work. Although I got some of all 3 colors/grits, the green definitely worked the best and didn’t damage the surface. Also, I stuff paper towels down inside to try and avoid anything dropping into the valve area or the engine itself.
I remove plastic cover and take a picture to show them why I changed to clean it 😮. Then they know you care when you tell them if it’s clean I don’t change them 😊😊😊
I never EVER start ANY engine without checking the oil first! I know you were kicking yourself in the ass for not doing that! We all get distracted from time to time, so you can forgive yourself. 😉
Great video Troy 👍🏾

I think is a pulley maybe the idler pulley for the hydros
Pto clutch bearing.
I agree, although it doesn’t sound like a typical growling sound. Maybe really dry.
