Oh thank you! I was surprised I thought the fabric one would be my favorite but the wood one was also my favorite. Thanks so much for watching glad you like them all! 🥰
Great video! I made the yarn canvas a few months ago and I used hot glue to attach the string. A great option if you don’t have a staple gun or if the staple gun hurts your hand. I also thrifted my canvas- it had an ugly picture- and just painted it white before I started with the yarn.
Oh awesome! That is such a great option thank you for sharing. :) and I love thrifting canvas such a great way to reuse one. Thanks so much for watching! 🥰
I did one with 648 pieces for a table. Single wood dimension was 4,4 to 4,4 cm. It tooks me some weeks beside the work and family. But the result is fantastic. I have seen much of them for sold. These decorative or acoustic panels are not sold for less than 900 euros in these dimensions. In my opinion, the price is still low for the effort involved, as everything is handmade and takes a lot of time.
Awesome video!! Thank you. I mix my joint compound with the paint I intend to use, in this case you can add lots of black paint to the compound so you don't have to paint over it.
you have great ideas. if you do the fabric/joint compound again, you might like trying to use black paint instead of water to mix up to coat the fabric with.
Oh my goodness they are all amazing but if I had to choose it would be the blocks I totally love that! Then the fabric because it’s just so different and fluid but static then the last piece which is also amazing! ….. Takes great patience and attention to detail as well as being free to flow - awesomeness 🏆
You're crazy girl but so right!!! The best name for this art is Modern Abstract. Where did you find all the wood art inspiration? I love it. I love them all but I am all about wood!!! HAPPY EASTER!
Definitely modern art! and the wood art I saw some videos on instagram but I think if you type in acoustic wood sound panel art it should come up. The wood one turned out way cooler then I picture it. 🥰 Happy Easter!
I did wonder how the third art piece was going to stay black - ha ha!!! but it turned out great!! I love the wood one because that was the one I came to see. Thank you for the tutorial. I am going to give it a go!!!
Which one …. Hum . I don’t think I could pick just one all of them are amazing I like how easy and simple the last one was . I have small kids and don’t really do all the power tool like that . Thanks for the video❤
Oh thank you so much! I definitely get not having time for the power tool one. But the yarn and fabric one was super fun and easy! :) thanks so much for watching
Love all of these! I'm interested in doing a jute canvas with blue, terra cotta and a natural medium color twine. What do you think? Any suggestions? Thank you for the simple instructions!
Hi Mailey- I’m a new subscriber. 😊 I’m just getting started with texture art and your ideas in this video are great!! It got me thinking about some supplies I already have to get started with a weave piece💥. I really like them all because they are so different. I have a lot of twin size sheets I don’t use any more that that I might start with. What can I use to make the fabric stiff and be clear so I can take advantage of the patterned sheets?
Liked all three❤. Just one suggestion fr the last one, highlighting with little gold leaf would hv given a stunning effect to the fabric. But it’s just my view, mayb it’s good as it is also 😊
All 3 are beautiful 🤩. You’re a true artist. I have a question 🙋♀️ Instead of Joint compound can you use Wood Glue with water? I’ve seen that some use wood glue instead. Is it better you think? Thanks so much.
thank you so much! If I wasn't filming I would have been able to make it in a day. But it's an on and off process since you have to wait for things to dry
If you want to make a super easy canvas with no tools you could almost get a cheap 1/2 inch piece of plywood at the store and stretch canvas over that. Hope this helps!
I really like the wood art. But I don't really want all that work. I will try the yarn art concept tho. I am sure I have plenty on hand from my mother's supply.
lol for the black wall art you could of just put poly filler or Spackling the frame or canvas to create the textured part ,you didn't need to do all that fabric thing
The point was to try out a different way of making art. And I would have had to use a crap ton of spackle to get that kind of texture. I’ve done both and the fabric was quicker.
@@MaileyElaine actually it's a lot easier and doesn't require much, i have done a few on my home, took me less than 5 minutes, you see a lot of videos of people who do it that way, much more simple
@@vlmmosto9824 yeah I’ve done just the plain joint compound version I just feel like it would take a whole lot of joint compound haha but that’s just me
I just discovered your channel and so far, I’m enjoying it. Your style is beautiful (so are you) and what you’ve done looks very professional. But… and I don’t want to sound judgy, BUT I hate the background of this video. Well not the furniture, just the horrid wall. Everything else looks so refined, including the furniture behind you, so that Jackson Pollack drippy paint wall doesn’t go with the style of everything else. I’m a professional artist, so I totally get edgy things, and honestly I create things that I know other people hate (or love whatever) I also have a degree in interior design. Oh gawd, that sounded so… eck … sorry, none of that makes my opinion any more important than yours. Just saying that I dislike the wall.
Haha you are not the first one to say that! And I don’t mind at all I know the background wall isn’t for everyone. Even my mom doesn’t like it haha. I absolutely love it i know sometime it loud for the background but in person it’s not as crazy if that makes sense
I love all 4…well done
The cord art is my favorite, but i love them all
Oh I'm so glad all these projects were so fun to do!
The wood art was my favorite. They are all great works of art but ; the wood had movement, definition and variation of color. ❤ Great jobon all three.
Oh thank you! I was surprised I thought the fabric one would be my favorite but the wood one was also my favorite. Thanks so much for watching glad you like them all! 🥰

I saw that wood piece sell for like a thousand dollars at an art fair (maybe more honestly). So pretty!
Haha they probably used some nicer wood then a 2x4 😂😂😂 but that is good to know! I was going to list the wood one on Etsy
Hmmm. Maybe she should sell.

for someone who doesn't know what she's doing you have arrived to some great results. I loved the wood art, the textured fabric is my second.
Oh thank you so much! I've been making art my entire life so I just had a good foundation to go off of haha
same, those 2 are my favs as well
The yarn artwork is so cool! I am going to do this!
Thank you! It was so fun and easy to make! :)
Love the wood chunks!
Thank you so much! 🥰
Awesome video!! Thank you. I mix my joint compound with the paint I intend to use, in this case you can add lots of black paint to the compound so you don't have to paint over it.
That's such a great idea I definitely should have done that it would have helped a lot! 🥰
you have great ideas. if you do the fabric/joint compound again, you might like trying to use black paint instead of water to mix up to coat the fabric with.
Oh yeah that's a great idea might help in the end.. It'll create more of a gray color but will still help! :)
I absolutely loved all of them!! ❤
Thank you! :)

One. Your hair looks amazing in part 1. Two. I love love the woven piece. All are so cool. You are gifted.
Thank you! haha I actually styled my hair. It amazing what a little curling can do.
Amazing! My favourite is the wooden one - next is the fabric art then the corded one - love them all!
Thank you so much!! 🥰
Cool ideas! It’s hard to pick which one is my favorite since they’re all great.
Thank you so much! I know I had a hard time picking my favorite since they are all so different.
I really love the wood art! Thanks for the inspiration!
Of course! Thank you!
Oh wow, I really like every piece of art. I will be trying all of them. Thanks for sharing.
Of course!! thanks so much for watching so glad you like them!
I have to say, it is much nice to watch this video in muted, no sound whatsoever. The ideas are very good.
Thanks for watching
Loved them all, might try the yarn one 😊
You should it was a lot of fun. I even went ahead and made a second one off camera. 🥰 thanks so much for watching!
Loved!!!!!
Do you have a video of hoy you madre your back Wall ?
Thank you and yes I do here is the link ua-cam.com/video/9obgsv_Kq3U/v-deo.html
They all are great, It would be hard to choose my favorite.
Thank you so much!
great work - the wooden art is my favourite - you're brilliant
Thank you so much!
These are lovely. Very hard to choose a favourite, but I think the wood piece by a narrow margin was my favourite. 😀
Oh thank you! I love the wood piece as well also think it’s my favorite! 🥰
Love them all. Gonna start with the cording one first because I have supplies. Going to get joint compound for fabric piece. ❤❤❤❤❤
Oh amazing! You’ll have so much fun with both. Thanks so much for watching!
Just what I needed
Oh I'm so glad I could help! :)
Love them all but my favorite was the piece with the cloth
I love seeing everyones favorite piece. I love the cloth one as well I use it all the time for stage things. 🥰
Cada técnica es diferente, y me gustan todas. Eres una buena artista, te felicito. From Argentina. Anamá

You should have mixed black paint with the joint compound ,you still would have to paint it when it dried but it would have been an easier option
oh yeah that probably would have helped a little bit
They were all great!❤
Thank you! 🥰
I loved the wooden block and the cloth one a lot❤😊😮
Thank you so much!
I really like the background, that's unique and I love it!!!

How many hours did the wood piece take? That looks really great. I’m going to try that it.
I would say a total of 8-10 hours spread out over a few days. You definitely should it was a fun and fairly easy process! 🥰
Liked all three❤.
Just one suggestion fr the last one, highlighting with little gold leaf would hv given a stunning effect to the fabric.
But it’s just my view, mayb it’s good as it is also 😊
Oh I love that idea might have to try that on another piece. I keep wanting to do a gold frame about that piece.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
So beautiful. Great work ❤. You make it look so easy 😢
Oh these were all super easy you could definitely make it look just as easy! Thanks so much so glad you like the projects!
Loved the wood one but I don't own a table or mitre saw
Thank you so much! You could always use a hand saw and a miter box :)
Amazing!
Thank you so much!
Great results. 1. Wood art! 2.fabric art.
Thank you so much! 🥰
What kind of joint compound and fabric did you use?
it was a five minute quick set but any joint compound will work and I used a black cotton fabric
Wundervolle Bilder, danke dir ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
So glad you like them! 🥰
All 3 are beautiful 🤩. You’re a true artist. I have a question 🙋♀️ Instead of Joint compound can you use Wood Glue with water? I’ve seen that some use wood glue instead. Is it better you think? Thanks so much.
I would think the wood filler would leave a more grainy finish. The joint compound is super smooth in the end. But definitely worth a try!
These are all so cool! Er…dope! 😎😂🖤
Thank you! 🥰🥰
They all look great 👍 but I absolutely love the second one wow it’s so beautiful !! How long did it take to make it?👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
thank you so much! If I wasn't filming I would have been able to make it in a day. But it's an on and off process since you have to wait for things to dry
How heavy was the wood art after completion?
It wasn't very heavy but I don't know exact weight
Great.. please what is the painting used on wood pieces?
It's just stain no paint
What kind of board can you use to make your own canvas
If you want to make a super easy canvas with no tools you could almost get a cheap 1/2 inch piece of plywood at the store and stretch canvas over that. Hope this helps!
@@MaileyElaine will try thank you

Beautiful ❤ new suscriber from CHILE 🇨🇱 ❤
Thank you so much for subscribing it means so much to me!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Love this but I’m buying 1 and 1/2 inch squares from Amazon.
oh that'll make it nice and easy!
What did you use to stain the wood?
I used honey by minwax and weathered oak also by minwax
What do u use plz
For what piece?
