**I neglected to mention a very important feature this vehicle has in the video. "The Hyundai Ioniq 5 features Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, which allows the car to function as a mobile power source. This means you can use the car’s battery to power or charge various electronic devices, such as laptops, camping equipment, or even another electric vehicle in an emergency."
    Sorry about that!

10:27 Just to be clear: There are 4 levels of regenerative breaking: 0-1-2-3. Basically if it's in 3, letting the accelerator go makes it feel like you're doing engine breaking on a gas car. If you let the accelerator go in level 0, the car just keeps coasting. Those 4 levels don't bring the car to a stop but if you put it in i-Pedal mode (which is basically one level higher than regen 3), you can come to a smooth stop just by letting go of the accelerator; no need to push or hold the brakes in i-Pedal mode. For the other regen levels you can enable Auto Hold which keeps the car stopped even if you take your foot off the brakes; you tap the accelerator to start moving again.
The missing rear wiper is a bit of a problem but someone is working on an add-on battery-powered wiper that goes onto the window with a vacuum and a magnet. There's another problem which is that if you take your Ioniq 5 through an automatic car wash, the rear window won't get cleaned because the sides protrude so far that the machine doesn't bring the brushes all the way to the window.
The wired-only CarPlay (and Android Auto) is a nuisance; it's caused by the fact that Hyundai has a contract with the manufacturers of the navigation system that doesn't allow them to put wireless in there. Fortunately you can buy devices from Amazon or elsewhere that plug into the USB plug and will let you do CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly.
Another minor nuisance is that the doors don't lock automatically when you turn the car off and leave. But there is a device that you can buy and hook up to the wire harness that will do that for you.
The little rectangular area left of the screen is magnetic, and you can buy little brackets with magnets to put your sunglasses there from the Ioniq Guy (look him up on UA-cam).

Great work, Paul! Watched/listened to this video on my Sony headphones with surround sound turned on, and the audio quality was stunning, especially when you did 0 to 60 mph. Keep up this quality!

I'm not really a fan of EV's, but I have to admit this is definitely better than tesla. Awesome job, Paul!! 🔥

Potentially great update from sub-compact cx30 to this. Style switch from more ambient to techy feel, but the space, visibility and EV techs will be reasons to spend +20K.

EVs are the most technologically advanced among Hyundai, Kia, and Tesla, and the next five years will determine who will dominate the global market.

Don't need the rear wiper with the rear view mirror that incorporates the rear camera. You get used to teh digital rear view mirror if you give a realistic try.

I did. I disagree in my opinion. I have a hard time judging distance with the digital camera.

I have a 24 Honda CRV touring and love it , I can see myself having a full electric some day . I do like how quiet they are . I'm retired so I don't need super long range . My retired wife has a 24 Passport so a long trip we have that . 👍

i have read alot of info and sat in one,, really nice ,,, pretty much all ev are better than tesla now,,, except their software ,,, tesla as first and everyone built off of that ,,, 800 v vs 400v is the biggest difference
