5:50 The lady said "A casca não!", which means you should not eat the outlayer of jabuticaba, just the fair fruit pulp. It's OK to eat the seeds as long as you don't have constipation problems (FR rs).
So happy you enjoyed my city Natal, guys. The last dance, on the line, was a Quadrilha, a typical dance we perform during festa junina, the june parties. Happy you had that experience. Its very fun.
its so crazy watching you guys traveling the world for so long and then suddenly you're at the little fruit market at pium where my mom bought fruit for me when i was a kid, going to the beach where i learned to surf, driving through the streets that i drive through every single day. its mind boggling
Guys, this is one of your best videos in my opinion. I'm happy that you visited the Northeast. That's a real immersion into our Brazilian country and culture. Big hug to Toronto :)
People from the countryside in Brazil are mostly humble and earnest. They are friendlier, warmer and they would never cheat you like those craptards at Mercado Municipal in São Paulo. Valuable lesson learned and shared with other foreigners who might read this.
The ladies wanted warn you guys that the cashew's juice have a kind of pigment that tarned the clothes and skin, specially under the sun light... I'm glad you are visiting my home town!! Enjoy!
Honestly, I haven't watched all of your vlogs from Brazil. Ive watched a few, n d content of your videos r amazing. Brazil has lots of good places for explorations n adventure.
22:02 we have a cultural festival in Brazil called festa junina or festa de são João Who is a saint of the catholic church and in the northeast we used to do the dance called quadrilha It's really fun too these celebrations happen in june, in addition to dancing we have a lot of food made from corn typical foods from the northeast we make bonfires in the streets it is really very cultural.
Brazilian forts are something special. They are all connected with the development of Brazil, and represent the will of the Portuguese to claim this land and bring western values to this part of the world. There used to be more than 300 forts dotting the coast up until the end of the Empire.
I love Natal so much. It's a vibrant, warm, beautiful city. There's a lot of places to visit. You didn't see 1%.. Thank to both of you for beeing in our country and show for the rest of the world.. 👍👍🤩
As a citizen of Northeast Brazil, I can say that you will always be very welcome here❤. When you come back to Brazil, please visit Jericoacoara, a beautiful beach located in the interior of Ceará state. I would also like to give a tip: try to avoid associating anything from Brazilian culture with Hispanic culture. For example, when you called the forró dance a "conga line," 😂 most Brazilians don't even know what a "conga line" is, and in general, this reinforces the stereotype that Brazilians speak Spanish or that Brazilian culture is heavily influenced by Hispanic culture. In reality, most of Brazilian culture comes from the triad of Portugal-Africa-Native influences, with near to zero Spanish influence.
You guys were misunderstanding everything at the fruit market! LoL The ladies were trying to help you saying things like: cashew juice can make stain in your clothes if you drop it and you guys got it like: "it's juicy so it can drop it!" And also they were saying that one fruit is not for you to eat the fruit peel (which I guess it could be bitter) and you guys got it like: "the seed!" Also she said that one fruit is to make drinks and the other is for eating and guys said: juice! LoL
Truly, truly enjoyed your whole Brazil series. Great to see you both had a such a super duper fun time exploring the places there. I followed the entire journey. A massive THANKS, Steve Ivana ❤️😍
There used to be lots of cashew trees around d old highway in d east coast of Malaysia. D rural folks like to use d cashew fruit for masak lemak. 21:33 OOOH, Ivana and Steve, you made me cry when I saw my parents. It has been almost 4 years that I didn't see them. 😭❤ I hope you have enjoyed Natal. God bless you 🙏🥹

Awwwwww, I love Forró! What a great experience, guys! I´m sad that you are already back to Canada, but delighted for the great time you had in Brazil. Please, come to Ireland and reach out to me.
Natal means Christmas but also means something that was born in, Christmas: the birth of Jesus. It also means: a place where you were born, like: homeland=terra natal.
Natal has a lot of things to see if you wanna have fun or learn about our cuture. Tourism is very important here in Natal and in the cities around too.
Cashew tree is native to Northeastern Brazil and Southeastern Venezuela, and later was distributed around the world in the 1500s by Portuguese explorers.[1][15][3] Portuguese colonists in Brazil began exporting cashew nuts as early as the 1550s.[16] The Portuguese took it to Goa, India between 1560 and 1565. From there, it spread throughout Southeast Asia and eventually Africa. Wikipedia I love Natal. I lived there and now my sister loves there. Great memories
You are very nice and intelligent, especially Ivana. Ivana is good at languages and assimilating different cultures. You have my respect and admiration. Big hug from Guarapari, Espírito Santo.

A tip for both of you that love cachaça: Caju (cashew fruit) cuts the strong taste of the cachaça, try to bite the fruit rigth after drinking the beverage. This combination is called "caju amigo" (cashew friend)...

The lady from the market was telling that the cashew juice from the fruit can stain your clothes...or your skin(if you stay in the sun). Love you guys
