Ubisoft heard their Sea Shanty Melody and loved it so they approached Home Free with an amazing opportunity to write a shanty for Skull And Bones video game.Chance loves sea shanties and everything to do with the sea and loves gaming so Chance being the seafaring member jumped at the opportunity .
Chance playing guitar Austin was playing mandolin and Adam with his amazing beatboxing
7 months ago they released a Lyric video and sang a shorter version live at Ubisoft Live Premiere for the game.
Adam is making the drums and some sound effects. Chance playing guitar.

Next, you need to react to Home Free's "How Great Thou Art" No beatboxing but Adam Rupp actually sings a small solo. So beautiful.
When Home Free released their "Sea Shanty Medley" during the lock down and it went viral, the game company Ubisoft saw it and was so impressed by them that they reached out to Home Free and asked if they would be interested in creating an original song for their game (which was in development) Skull and Bones. Of course they jumped on that and their one and only sea shanty enthusiast, Adam Chance stepped up and wrote this master piece. Ubisoft introduced them and their song at the Summer Game Fest 2023, along with the lyric video which is what we had until now. This video incorporates elements of the game into the story depicted in the video. Well worth the wait, love it. What an epic original sea shanty by Chance and Home Free. You can tell Ubisoft contributed a lot to this video. Many have commented that it is like a mini movie including the end credits. In the credits the female pirate is referred to as Marianne and is played by Clair Glassford. The young Marianne is played by Kate Kilclough. Looking forward to what they have next for us.
When Home Free did the Sea Shanty Medley during Covid it went viral and attracted the game maker Ubisoft to them. They asked the boys to write a new shanty for their new game Skull and Bones and this is it. Chance wrote a banger. Adam is doing the drums but there is guitar and mandolin in it. (I believe Ubisoft wanted music in this). Anyway, it’s a banger and they have a short video where they play in front of the Ubisoft crowd and there’s also a lyric video. Some of the shots in this is the game. 😍😄

Wasn't that great! We've been waiting for this official video by Home Free for awhile now. It felt like watching a movie. Home free is so talented & they can do any genre of music. Chance loves sea shanties & he wrote this song for the game "Skull & Bones". His deeper voice sounded great for this song. And of course all the background harmonies of the guys including Adam's fabulous vocal percussion.
Adam did the percussion, but instruments were used as well. You see Chance play the guitar in the video.
Ubisoft was so impressed by Home Free's "Sea Shanty Medley" that they called to ask them to write a song for their game. Chance is one of the 3 song writers in the band and loves sea shanties so he wrote it. If you haven't seen the aforementioned medley, watch the video "Sea Shanty Medley Live" - it's terrific.
Patrons in the video is referring to the extras in the pub - patrons of the pub.

The percsussion is all Adam until the very end when Ubisoft wanted more drums added. Written by Adam Chance at Ubisoft's request for their game Skull and Bones. The credited "patrons" are the additional actors in the bar scene. We actual Patrons were clueless about the video until it was released at a Ubisoft conference.
