Who else is having more fun than You Guys!!! Turning these Rigs around like this!!! We did this back in the 70's..... 👍👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Your method is brilliant,,first job clean out completely, then spray clean to work on.👍🤗
I'm not even a GM guy but that truck is sweet and rare those old classic trucks are all nice whatever make they are if your truly a truck lover.
Guys have all the fun!
This dude is skilled and experienced, obviously by decades, too. But the attitude! Parr for the course, I suppose.
Flat out good to see a working man in action. Radio n all. Great!!
I love the types of jobs that you guys take on. No one really preserves service vehicles like this. There aren't many left anymore. My one piece of advice would be to plan your filming ahead of time. Make sure the radio isn't playing, and have some one on hand to interact with the audience, so that it will be a little easier and more entertaining for people that aren't experts at this type of thing, and are trying to learn. It will make it much easier for you to grow your audience.
Crazy to watch that old truck flex with all the torque from an engine that sat for 50 years after so little work.
That make cool roll back tow truck. love the look of that cab over. nice prep for resale.
Those COE trucks are so cool. There's one about this vintage South of Hannibal Missouri. Sitting in front of some sort of business. This would look awesome with a 5th wheel plate and a 36 ft camper.
Rusted out or is it resorted?
@@Ironcitygarage it isn't restored. It doesn't seem to be rusted out. It appears to be "yard deco".
Love the old cabovers especially the 50’s
If only old trucks could talk.......what a sweetheart....
Love watching these old girls brought back to life in these videos.
Fantastic vidio....You did a great job of getting her back to life! This truck is going to look so good all fixed up.
Nice one!. Love these old trucks, especially when they cough back into life and move.
I am in Ga. and when you find those old farm/barn trucks they are rusted out. Humidity here does it. Out west the air is much drier. Would give a blank check for one in that shape...
There used to be two or three on the property behind us for many years, just sitten. Think they were used for beehive?? Have to in back n see if they are still there. Cen cal
That truck is a beast absolutely gigantic and it looks like they gave no room for a person to sit in it. Looks like the steering wheel would be against your stomach or very close to it.
Fun to watch vid. I actually fast forward thru some bolt by bolt sections. Cool old neighborhood yer in!
Like Ohio tho. Around every corner a underpass too low for 18 wheeler. The factories downtown making a/C's have impossible loading docs.
That little bobcat is a nice little piece of equipment.👍 I bet having that engine right there under your feet would help to keep you warm in the winter.
I am officially jealous AF. I would have kept it as a short flatbed dump, but that's just me.
Your mechanic does an impressive job.
Look on the pad right next to the dist. The cubic inches is stamped on the block. Snub nose 54 GMC. A guy I knew in 1955 hauled new 55 chevrolets from St Louis to Oakland Calif. Pulled a vaccum brake car hauler 4 vehicle capacity. They had two of those snub nose trucks. A chevy with a 261 six and 4 speed 2 speed. and a GMC 270 six and 5 speed 2 speed. He stated as hard as he could go on route 66 it took ten days with the chevy. The GMC it only took 8. the GMC was that much better.
I see your. Short clip on tik tok and I searched on UA-cam and watch this.full video thanks ❤
That is a big boy.👌👌
Would make a great car hauler.
Beautiful COE! Cannonball! GO!
Great video Bill's a hard working guy and gets the job done cheers from the UK
You got that right! guy can fix just about anything! thanks for the comment
Cool video and love the music. Hats off to the mechanic. Nice work. Much respect to him.
What happened to the new mechanic? Working on something else?
Thank you for sharing this wonderful video I love that truck
The last guy you had was a better worker even with his smoke breaks!
We actually just parted ways with clay last week.
Good efforts..thanks alot for that..
It is better ti tear off all cloth materials and throw it in trash.then take seat and sand it and paint it then cover it by a new cloth and spunch to make it comfortable seat.
Old warrior engine of good, the problem is also working in a bad position making the repair more difficult and tiring,Congratulations professionals...
Wow.. your battery and the motor stater are very strong!
Looks like the truck from fallout
Nice to see it running. Great job and video.
Coe..coe...coe..
Everybody's into Cab Overs.
They called those CANNON BALLS !!
Everybody loves cabovers . . . until they drive one !
THAT MY FRIEND'S is one "BADASS" starter grind on it BILL grind on it....Hot Damn grind on it some more...... Shiiiiit......
I love the play by play 😂😂 hope you liked it thanks for watching the whole video 🙏🙏 got a Badass old Mack truck coming up for the next video!
Best video yet! The cranking portions sounded amazing and the view was so cool!! Would love to see the full length version! Also, please keep posting them in full length! It’s the best thing ever - vice grip garage and mortske does basically the same thing and they’re hugely popular. You guys deserve that same popularity!!
Always love the feed back Gear head we are working towards the top! its only a matter of time Pete just hired me 9 months ago and this looks like it might be my forever career path so skys the limit! if you're on the easy coast we are going to fall Carlisle and Hersey you should stop by the booth!
show de bola ao fundo deu pra ouvir bee gees tocando
Now you have to sit on them till they hatch and then teach them to fly / Why not ? You do every thing else around there / You should get a big raise for all the work you do
Two speed rear end. That's the extra switch knob on the gearshift.
Relíquia meu amigo
She's an old beaut, be a great candidate for a full restoration..
Sure was nice seeing it catch and run!
Great stuff guys.
Man I realized how much I need a skid steer I've been trying to get my 49 c o e rolling so I can get it up by my shop by with the skid-steer I can just lift it cuz I'm not using the original chassis I just want to get it up there and get the cab dismounted to put on the new chassis
I like your worker ....whatever he does is perfection ...he is the main owner of your firm don't mind me.....but it's truth....I like his work and I want to be like him .....he inspires me to be a allrounder worker....don't leave him...I want to know his name please......
Looks like a good candidate for a Cummins transplant, and a car hauler or wrecker body.
Love COE trucks!
Good video this dedicated craftsman's shoulders, hips, and back will be gone in six years.
You just gotto lve tat old chair but you migt want to look for a bar stool with a backon it I have one it's great .allmost called it a night But you did it awesome 👌!
In the early 50s my dad would drive the same truck, the same dark green for North American Aviation he work there for 40yrs
La verdad me gusta mucho ese modelo de camion!!! Saludos desde Argentina
Looks like a fun job, but I would definitely be wearing some ppe for the cab clean up.
Ficarei acompanhando a restauração
Nice truck!☆ I like it. I need a good driverside fender for a 54 Chevy coe if you have any? I need it shipped to SoCal. Thanks
I HAD A GMC I BOUGHT FROM ABF OUT OF ARKANSAS IN 1973 AS WELL A CHEVROLET AND THE CABS WOULD SHIFT. i ALSO SECURED MINE THE SAME WAY. PITTAM'S TRUCKING.
My 53 was a grain truck, now it's channeled over an 87 long bed frame
The Pink Floyd section was oddly satisfying...
The GMC engine was much used in sprint car racing a, very strong unit.
Beautiful truck 😄👍
I'd get a roll back wrecker bed and wheel lift to put on it. This thing definitely has bad ass potential.
Good job Bill!
*Já executei trabalhos desta natureza nos anos 1970, bons tempos, parabéns ao mecânico. Ressuscitar um GMC não e fácil, arruma uma Coisa vem outros 10 problemas e assim MESMO*
Aqui no Amapá
Na antiga ICOMI pra colecionador tinha muito GMC
Agora só restam as duas ambulância caça fantasma em bom estado de conservação
I haven't watched this yet
Seriously have a thing for these trucks though I would like to get one and make it a ramp truck but knowing me I'd probably do something crazy like put a demon or a hellephant in it
But no matter what I did other than the big ramp put on the back you probably wouldn't notice many changes on the outside other than body filled and I'm a welder so I don't mean filled with putty everything would be metal primed and painted but on the inside you would have more of a modern feel I would add a creature Comfort or two
thank for sharing this video.
One thing for sure alot of your viewers are blessed of Brutal Honesty. 😂😂
This old Coe rig with that tilt job on the back would be sweet to put an Aluminum flat tilt bed or even a Rollback car carrier on the back maybe a wheel lift. Make it a ramp truck. Very desirable. I know these arent the guys to do that. They seem to just flip the old stuff
Cool old truck always loved the cabovers
@51:50 the saga continues OH hell it started OH Hell.........
Thank you
hols...despus del carburador...hay que ver la bomba de bencina si esta tirando...saludos desde chile.
another great video thanks for sharing
There was a time when all America needed was 6 cylinders.
Those old Chevy engines never die!! The body will rot but the engines last!!
7:00 Upholstery ain't turnin' no wheels over....
Old School Bro, hard as. Chur.
The single light on the lower left is like in Britain.
another one quite the unit well done
I keep forgetting that y'all live so close to me. I live in New Brighton, PA (next to Beaver Falls). I heard the radio commercials for Ireland Contracting and Fine Wine and Good Spirits (where my wife works) and I had to think about it for a second...lol
Yes sir right over in the friendly neighborhood of Homewood!
She’s gonna start!! 👍
You guys appear to be in one of the most unlikely places in the Burgh.
Good old homewood!
