    =DDD Which Luftrum sound package contains these presets in the video?

    • @Luftrum1
      @Luftrum1  5 місяців тому +1

      That info is written on the page after you press the 'Play' button but the sounds in the vid are indeed presets from different Luftrum soundsets: The Blade Runner lead is from the Vangelis for Omnisphere set I made, the Just an Illusion bass is in the Synthwave Diva collab with The Unfinished, and The Model preset is found in Luftkraft (also for Diva).

    … the thing is, I can see this happening for real. Certainly there's already an overwhelming array of synths and great presets at the disposal of most of us while we mostly are looking for a specific sound. Even if not a sound generator by itself, you could imagine a super clever local search engine that looks beyond the usual tags or can alter synth settings to a basic degree.

      @@dadigitechman nah. The one thing AI will never accomplish is getting inside the psychology and social aspect of music.
      Sure. It will do great at mimicking chords and bass lines etc. but it will never be able to write with depth and sophistication of meaning.
      Out of the blue? Ai will never come up with something like Public Enemy’s “Fear of a Black Planet” or Frank Zappa’s “Gregory Peckary”, or Captain Beefheart “Trout Mask Replica”or John Coltrane‘s “Giant Steps” or Stravinsky’s “The Right of Spring,. or James Brown’s “Get On The Good Foot,” etc, etc,
      There’s so many incredible pieces of music that came out of humans because of a need. AI will never be able to do this.
      Pop music? Definitely within the realm of proximity. But music of meaning? Never.

      рамки обычных тегов..... Самое печальное, что это понятие навязали всему миру продаваны, торгаши и рекламщики, чтобы продавать свой товар.... Надо со скорбью признать - у них получилось - весь мир людей уже мыслит тегами, а лишь единицы могут себе позволить мыслить и жить (творить) вне этих рамок. Стоит опасаться следующей ступени развития, она ещё больше заберёт свободу и творчество у человека. Мы кстати сейчас всячески сами это все поощряем, экспериментируем (над нами ставятся опыты в том числе), радуемся классным фишка технологий.... Всё будет зависеть от того, в чьи руки попадут эти технологи ✌👽

    THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT IM LOOKING FOR. just something to play around with a synth vst with a library/plethora synth sounds so when you give it a description like "make me a warm luscious string pad with resonance" gives us sound designers something to play with. hell even see if it can read data from sound files of synths to the when it reads the audio it can learn the frequency and hear the tone and try its best to recreate it. I must admit that, while I find this inspiring, I'm also a little concerned that artists who have a 'signature sound' will no longer be able to protect their work from copycats. I know that's already easier than ever to do today. But there's a reason why bands like Orbital and Underworld have had such a long and productive career. They have an unusual and striking palette of custom made sounds that gives them an unmistakable musical signature. I will miss the days when you had to do a deep dive into a synthesizer, and actually learn the machine, in order to craft the sounds you're after. Fast is good. But not always the best way to create something original.

      You do know this was all a prank?
      SynthGPT was an April Fools’ prank launched on April 1st 2023. It doesn’t actually exist (at least not yet!) and it is not available as VST. You cannot download or buy it, it doesn’t work for real, it’s not compatible with any DAW, and the annoying sound it produces is not a glitch or a bug, really, it’s part of the joke. We apologize if it offended anyone. The intention was simply to create a playful prank that was both timely and relevant.
      - Soren / Luftrum.

    • @Xanaduum
      @Xanaduum 5 місяців тому +3

      Many of these people with a signature sound were only protected by the cost of the equipment that was used. Vangelis for example, if you could afford a yamaha CS 80 then you could get the blade runner sound. But then again, samplers and digital based synths exist, so people can already recreate these sounds, this would just make it easier.
