Tempering resets are super needed imo. For instance, I have a very endgame rogue, very very endgame, and I haven't been able to upgrade my weapon since before I hit 100. Because every potential upgrade I have found, I couldn't temper the stats I need for my build.
I don't mind bricking things, but I've kept every greater affix bow in the last 100 hours of endgame, I've got 11. 1 had GA vuln, bricked it. That's 1 bow with the stat I want in 100+ hours of playtime, bricked.
Tempering itself is awesome, but my god let me grind another chance to fix my magnum opus. I don't care if it costs me 1000 neathiron.
My only issue is that end game like the pit and NM dungeons are not rewarding item wise, helltide drops 10x more item and its the easiest content.
Edit: Im having a blast just a thought.
It's a good season for sure but this is what the game needs:
- 20 more uniques
- 10 more uber uniques
- gem scaling is off and needs fixing
- needs more dynamic events
- needs like 4 more Butcher style encounters
- some bosses need tuning , especially pinnacle and world bosses
- whispers should stack up to 100 so we can bank them and go later
- I'd like to see more buyable things with obols
And more... but honestly it's been fun !
I agree with your feedback, D4 is out of early access. I like the season a lot and it is a lot of fun crafting all your items. Leveling is super fast, some people don't like it but many more do. So I think they are trying to meet everyone's expectations because even though you can reach level 100 pretty easily the pit can become very unforgiving. People were saying all these months that D4 is terrible, it is dead, uninstall it etc etc but I knew it would be become better and the day for that is finally here. I am looking forward to the expansion which will improve the game even a lot more. And to the people that will start nagging like there is no tomorrow no, the expansion isn't free but LoD was not free also and D2 became the game we know today because of LoD and I don't see anyone complaining.

Skipped season 3 and returned for this one. So far so good and it's nice to see so many things we all wanted fixed finally addressed. World bosses die in seconds in WT4 and it honestly make them feel like a joke. People should have to at least feel like they spent at least a little time to earn the highest rated gear in the game. The helltide boss is a great example of a good boss.
One of my problems with the master crafting system is the fact that the roll rates do not seem the same. For instance if I want golem damage, I’ve gone through about 10 or 11 weapons and rolling them I’ll get 4 of the same affiix. After testing many of these rolls, it looks like certain affix have a higher chance or rolling compared to some. Usually those some are the rolls your build needs which is annoying. Like movement speed on boots roll rate is lower than movement speed after killing an elite. Or movement speed while blood misting. I can’t confirm this 100 maybe it’s bad rng.
I think unique items should have doubled affixes out of the gate without greater affixes
I came back from season one and I’ve been having a blast. I was worried about being lost in the sauce but after an hour or so the game feels easier than it’s ever been.
I have been a huge Diablo fan since D1, but D4 does only one thing very well, unfortunately, …makes me appreciate and like Last Epoch even more. Have fun and blast with upgraded/mobile looking/MMOish D3
Nice explanation of tempering, but you should havr mentioned how items can be "bricked"
Tempering is all about putting specific needed affixes into an item. Since you can run out of attempts to temper and item it is possible to not get what you need on the item before the limit is reached.
This means the item will be stuck with bad affixes on it and this Bricked

I'm shocked at how the entire D4 community is so quiet and not loud enough towards blizzard to do something about the social aspect of the game, we're talking public chat, open chat, trade chat, group finder, maybe even some sort of in-game auction house at least something.

They need to make leaderboards for the pit. The gauntlet blows ass
0-100 is now for the casuals, 100- to masterwork 12/12 is for the more hardcore
As it should be imo. Nobody is left out even from the pit early lvls but then shit gets real and blasters can have something to do.
I farmed beast in ice for andurial got a lot frm the dungeon. Not sure its a good farm but more than nm dungeons

In my opinion season 4 ist kinda boring. Everything dies in Seconds and If not i get one-shooted.(Lvl93nec/lvl50pit). Also it drops way, way too many stuff and so much is happening on screen. Dont Feel Like Diablo to me. Even uniques are mostly totaly worthless and arent unique. Going Back to grim dawn :) gl everyone else!
All those items need to be sold there’s not enough gold in the game anymore. So that part is necessary without lots of items dropping we would be poor.
