@@opheliarathmore7829 look, as much as i'd like to stop eating meat, livestock is a thing. those animals would either turn into pests or get eradicated in the wild. by process of evolution and breeding we made them with the only purpose of being consumed. livestock itself is a messed up concept, especially to the environment.
in my opinion it's a waste of land and resources, only so that food companies can sustain the demand.
just to be sure of it, eating meat is something every carnivorous AND omnivorous creatures do to survive, and we are no exception. i just think there are better, healthier meats we can eat, like various types of sea food, white meat and eggs. i know white meat also has livestock, but i think it isn't nearly as resource demanding as other forms of livestock. same goes for fish.
also, we are omnivorous for a reason. being vegetarian actually does great to your health, but being vegan is way harder. we need proteins and other stuff you can't normally find on other food products, let alone pay for them, since those sorts of food are normally overpriced. it's not about only satisfying our taste buds, meat is one of, if not the easiest and most affordable form of getting proteins, zinc and iron.
you don't need to martirize yourself over the fact of eating meat, because even if it sounds cruel, that's just what we evolved into consuming, and there's not much we can do about it. still, the concept of livestock to me has gone way too far as to become ridiculous. 70% of the emerged lands on our planet are being wasted mostly for the production of junk food, and to waste that much land and resources for something as unnecessary as junk food is just unreasonable, and even tho i too like junk food, it isn't nearly essential enough to waste 70% of our land and so many resources on it.
@@shinjiikari5644 they are sentient beings. you wouldnt kill a human child. plus, it works on a supply-demand basis: if we stop buying the meat, they won't need to produce it, so obviously there wouldn't be a bunch of animals running around. ALSO: fine. if for some reason you are a horrible person and don't give a shit about the poor babies and animals being MURDERED- think about the HUMANS. the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WORKERS. a very very VERY high percentage of them experience PTSD because it is traumatic to kill living beings for a living! so many of them commit suicide. so many of them suffer several injuries. you can search up the statistics, you will be SHOCKED. So, even if you have no compassion for animals.... shouldn't you AT LEAST stop eating meat for the HUMANS who also suffer??

Awwwwww!!!! I melted 💚💛💜💛💜💚💗 I grew up around bunnies, we were growing them and built them a two story home for them. They loved it. We made a toilet for them too. We looked after them very well. they were very healthy and they were reproducing lots of them. We used to cover their home in winter to protect them from the cold. I used to take some babies in my bed to warm them up. They're sleeping under my armpit.💗💖💗💖💗💖

Sometimes I get jealous of these types of creatures... they have no problems, no worries, no stress, no shit to go through and just simply be there and look adorable without any effort while getting immense amount of love.
Well, in the wilderness life is not so codding to them though as they live in a constant danger of beign eaten by other animals.
Bunny problems may not seem like alot to us but to a baby Bunny those problems are of life and death.
Nature is a beautiful, amazing, loving yet cruel and unforgiving mistress.

To be honest most of human problem and stress are rooted to each of their own desires..

Everybody has to fight for their survival and just becase human society is not as savage as nature, doesn't mean it's not stressful or dangerous and that stress is entirely dependent on a person.
